I am in the market for a way to track my cat when she is out. I've done a quick search and see that there are several to choose from. I do live in a rural area if that matters. Do you use one you like and can recommend? Thanks!

For 3 months this tabby has been hanging around the underground parking under my building (my smoking spot). At first he ran from me. After a few weeks of careful distance he started approaching for treats, but still swiped if I tried to touch him.
Two weeks ago he officially decided I’m his person. He seeks me out every day, sits with me while I smoke, and for the past week actually lets me pet him (still alert though). Other residents try — he shuts them down hard.
I put out a crate with a blanket last night. He slept in it.
Winter’s coming. I already have two cats. He’s unneutered and still pretty street. I told myself I wouldn’t get attached…
What do I do now?

So, my neighborhood has a big cat problem. There’s not a single day I’ve not seen a cat. In the backyard alone, there’s about 11 cats between the alleys that hangout behind our shed. We do feed them, because they’re animals what can they do ☹️. Now, I’m not sure what to do. I’m a teen and don’t drive yet, but my mom says she’s willing to help taking them to the get fixed with my city’s TNR program. Would it be better for these cats to be released or taken to the shelter? The issue is that they’re more on the feral side and they’re all black cats, so I’m afraid that if we try taking them to the shelter, the whole black cats and Halloween thing will affect them negatively. I hate that this situation has so many complications. I love animals and these cats deserve the best, but I know these cats may contribute to all sorts of environmental issues with birds, etc (though I live in a very urban area, so that’s probably not entirely applicable here) and that stray cats live through of all sorts of problems.

I love cat. I always said that I would adopt a cat when I could had the space. Now I have the income and a house but my lazy *ss likes being beholden to no one but myself. I said that I would wait for the cat distribution system but no cat so far. I need to remove some friction so as to speed up my decision-making process. How do I prepare myself to adopt a cat? What do I need to buy? How do I prepare my house? How do I decide between a cat cafe, shelter and foster organization?
