Question Best Way to Collect Alan Moore's Swamp Thing?
Hey Guys, I'm a big modern day Swamp Thing fan, so I've always wanted to go back and read the Alan Moore stuff, but their seems to be so many editions and collections of it, I'm not really sure which one to get. So can someone who has read the run or owns it recommend the best , but most cost effective way to get the entire run (in physical form)
Thanks in advance

News Spider-Man: Noir returns in 2027. Venom will appear in the very first issue.
Fans of Peter Parker’s detective-themed adventures didn’t have to wait long for good news. Marvel Comics is preparing a limited-run comic book series titled *Spider-Man: Noir*, created by Alex Segura and Farid Karami. The first issue will hit stores in early 2027, presenting the hero with a difficult moral choice.
The live-action Spider-Noir series, produced in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios and Prime Video, will not be getting a second season. The series, starring Nicolas Cage, was met with an enthusiastic reception, earning a 92% critics’ score and a 90% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Despite its critical success, the project was halted due to behind-the-scenes conflicts over copyright and technology.
The main reason for the actor’s split with the studio was his strong convictions regarding artificial intelligence. During an appearance at New York Comic Con, Nicolas Cage confirmed that he refused to sign an AI waiver. The star criticized Amazon’s technology policies and announced that he would likely no longer work with the company, opting instead for independent projects and a role in the upcoming fifth season of HBO’s *True Detective*.
However, the brand has not been abandoned, and the character is returning to his roots. Marvel Comics has announced a new, limited-run comic book series titled *Spider-Man: Noir*, created by writer Alex Segura and artist Farid Karami. The first issue will hit the market on February 10, 2027.

Suggestions Doomsday reading Recs
Never dug too deep into F4 or Doom but would love to. Intending to read both Secret Wars before, are there any runs you’d recommend to get a good concept of Doom and why he is so many people’s most favorite villain.
Mostly been reading dark horse and image comics recently, so a change up would be fresh.

They missed the chance to give the little devils to Levins (my pathetic, C-list "GOAT" jobber)—the fight in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #33 would have lasted longer. It’s completely irrelevant, but it would have been fun.

Shelfie My small collection
Any recommendations based off of what I have already? I’ve also read the first 6 issues of paper girls but I checked those out from the library so don’t have them in my collection.

Arkham Asylum Sequel Artist?
What are your predictions for the artist doing Grant Morrison’s sequel to Arkham Asylum?
A while back it was planned to be Chris Burnham, but we don’t know if that’s still the case.
My ruminations:
Liam Sharp - good, recent working relationship with Grant and has an intricate style that could capture the insanity required.
Doug McKean - this sure would make more a headline worthy event (as if it wasn’t already) and a blast from the past but I sort of doubt McKean is interested unless he’s somehow gone broke.
Kelley Jones - depending on the concept I think this could be a really cool choice. I don’t think we’re in for a book that necessarily feels like the original. I expect Grant to take us somewhere new. Maybe a more cartoonish vibe could fit. I guess I just think it’d be a cool team up.
Bill Sienkiewicz - if the book does end up trying to recreate the essence of the first book than I think this may be the closest we could get from a known comic artist.

Movie/TV "Overman" (2026) Trailer: This film is based on Brazilian superhero comics created by Laerte.
The comic books featuring the character parody the superhero genre, just to clarify.

Discussion Do y’all read all your singles as they come out, or do you save them up to read in chunks?
I’m currently reading DNX along with its X-Men and FF tie-ins. It’s my first time reading any X-Men or FF stuff and I’m enjoying it so far for the most part. It’s also the first title / event with tie-ins that I’ve bothered to collect and keep up with.
But we’re about halfway into the event and each week I keep finding myself having to go back and look at or even completely reread previous issues. I’m seriously debating just putting it down until I’ve collected the whole run. I think it’s 12 issues total between the three titles.
How do y’all tackle longer events and tie-ins like this?

Discussion "Echo - Vision Quest" by David Mack is just outstanding
I was re-reading my TPB of ECHO - The Saga of Maya Lopez", and the second story included in it, Vision Quest (Daredevil #51 to 55) is such a bold and unique take, at least when it comes to traditional cape comics. A deep character introspection with super creative art that mixes multiple techniques and styles. An ode to stories and the power and influence they can have on us and other people. Just felt like sharing my appreciation for it. The first story in the book is also pretty damn good to be honest.

Question Is there any way for digital coloring to emulate the effect of the original newsprint?
(Image from The Incredible Hulk #312)The first image is digital and the second image is a scan. This isn't meant to be a salty post or completely hate on digital recolorings (although I do dislike a lot of them.) Is there any way for them to actually emulate how the colors looked on newsprint? I feel like SO much of the emotion is lost with the digital colors. I do think some of the colors aren't completely one to one, which is a different issue.
