I bought tickets for Friday and Saturday for LA COMIC CON. I requested a refund for that Saturday but no refunds apparently. The guest I wanted to meet has canceled their appearance. So I don't think I need to go two days in a row. What if I'm able to knock out everyday in just one day? Wouldn't it be a waste of time and money going to two days? There have been previous conventions where I bought multiple days and knocked everything out in one day. I don't want to waste so much money. Now I have and don't know what to do.

Hey guys so I went to my first anime convention in Pasadena last year and it was loads of fun! This year I'm looking to go to that one again, but I heard LA comic con is right around the corner and I'm curious about it. Should I go to comic con instead? What's the crowd and culture in LA comic con like and what's your experience with it? Are people generally nice? I go to conventions alone so I'm worried I might feel too overwhelmed if everyone's packed in the convention center like sardines or if there are generally unfriendly people.

Me and my buddy are going to LA Comic Con on Halloween and I was wondering if it is better to buy Photo Ops and Autographs online or in person? I definitely want to get a photo op with Hayden Christensen, Rosario Dawson, and Giancarlo Esposito. I also want to get autographs from Christopher Lloyd, Aaron Paul and Dean Norris.

Hey Everyone. So me and a friend are going to LA Comic Con on Halloween and it’s both of ours first time going to a Comic Con. I’m going for all the Star Wars and Breaking Bad actors, as well as Christopher Lloyd. Great Scott! My friend is going for all the Futurama voice actors. I already pre-purchased my signed premium autograph from Hayden Christiansen as well as a Photo Op with Hayden and Rosario Dawson.
Is there any tips or advice you guys/gals would give to a first timer like me?
I’m definitely packing plenty of water bottles and snacks, as well as bringing deodorant and cologne.

Also FYI I prepurchased parking already that is in good proximity to the convention, 12 minute walk

I’m going to my first comic con for LA next month and wanted to know what sort of line to expect. I’m not really interested in getting any signatures from the actors except maybe Jen & Ben for Expedition 33. I’m mostly interested in getting a signature from Scott Snyder, Jock, and Ryan Ottley. What’s the expected wait time since they’re not on screen actors?

Hey, I’m a beginner con-goer and I just wanted to ask on how to properly meet people and make friends at cons? I am kind of an introvert and it’s hard to make friends in huge crowds so I was wondering if anyone would know to give me some pointers out. I’m planning to go in cosplay so I hope I can meet more cosplayers who go

Hey I just got my LACC badge in the mail(2 days late), thanks USPS 😒, and it didn’t have a lanyard attached to the badge. Is the LACC Badge supposed to have a lanyard on it or is it supposed to be just a badge so you can put your own lanyard on it?

I went to LA Comic Con this weekend and WOW I saw more than a couple of anime and other booths with AI art. Absolute GARBAGE, why is this being allowed is the love for art being replaced with greed? Why cant Comic Con do something about it please this is so sad to see.

I have a barrel DVD box set of breaking bad that I got as a gift from a friend for my birthday. I will attach a photo. Anyways, I found out Aaron Paul and Bob Odenkirk are going to be at comic con! I would love for one of them to sign my box set. Who do you guys think I should choose? I cannot afford to see both of them unfortunately. I feel stuck at a crossroads here lol.

Hello,

I am attending the LA comic con and was considering getting some cards signed by some celebrities. I'm looking online about the ticket prices and options but was confused on some of the options.

I'm assuming 8x10 session is only for a photo and the premium is for other things like a cards or funk pop.

But there are additional options like a character name or quote or SWAU authentication. Are these just additions besides a signature?

literally tell me everything you know..

do ppl actually cosplay there? (going on halloween btw)

and like what even happens there.. (mother bought tickets, idk)

and. is it just anime and comics or r there other things :0

I want to meet 2 people at this year's LA Comic Con, but unsure on if I can meet both on 1 day or not. If I do buy their autograph tickets ahead of time, will I be guaranteed the autograph from both or be turned away, because their lines got capped? What if the autograph tickets for the next day are all sold out and they refuse to give me a refund because time ran out. Unsure on what to do!

Hello all! I’ve been trying to see if there’s any meet up’s planned for La comic con, but I’m either looking in the wrong places, or there simply isn’t any. But are there any resident evil fans or cosplayers planning or wanting to meet up! I’m hoping to make some new friends! ^_^.

Hey just wondering what people do who are going solo and have a kit that needs some help to get ready and will be getting ready at the parking structure. Noob!

I bought two tickets for LACC this October, one for me and one for my girlfriend. int the FAQ, the tickets have to be transferred to the people you buy them for. But, when I signed up to LeapEvents to transfer one of them, it showed both as ineligible.

would I have to wait for them to become eligible, and if I'm not able to transfer them, would that become a problem?

just generally wondering what the public opinion on 3d printing and bringing this into the con as it doesn't resemble a real gun but still curious. thanks for the feedback.

Never paid for the photo ops/autographs the past couple years except for walking up to booths. This year, I'm getting my kid the chance to meet David Tennet, but not sure what the experiences are actually like.

Can someone break down the photo ops/8x10 autograph/premium autograph?

Edit: I get the basics of what each means, but wondering what the experience is like for each. How long is the interaction?

Another edit: Thank you to those who described their experiences and helped me decide what was best for me and my teen. Seems like it will always be a luck of the draw, how busy or tired the stars will be. Feel free to share more experiences. I enjoyed reading those. :)

Hey friends, i broke my ankle unfortunately in august and ive been strictly on a knee mobility scooter, and i will be for LACC on the 31st. Anything i should know before ? anything helps!!

I bought an LACC exclusive Jessi Pinkman for Aaron Paul to sign when I go to LACC on Halloween. I’m getting it for my friend whos a big Breaking Bad fan and getting Dean Norris(Hank Schrader) to autograph it as well. Might get Giancarlo Esposito to sign it as well idk. Should I buy Aaron Pauls autograph online or buy it in person?

I remember them announcing it in instagram story but I forgot when they say it will be shipped

According to the LA Comic Con site, Ben Starr and Jenifer English will be on a gaming panel all 3 days and available for autographs. But, neither of them appear in the Autographs & Photo Ops schedule site. How do we sign up to get their autographs?

How many Comic-Cons have you been to, and which ones stand out as your favorite? Any tips for first-timers or must-see events?

Cosplay stories or photos if you've got them!

*I’m finally doing it—heading to my very first Comic-Con this September in Los Angeles! It’s something I’ve wanted to experience for years, and I figured what better way to celebrate my 25th (belated birthday on August 18th) than diving headfirst into the fandom universe?

I just finished a Bobf kit and waiting for 501st approval. I want to go to a con as I have never been to one. Is Sunday a good day for this con a day after Halloween and being Sunday? Need to see what it's like to wear this kit in public before celebration next year.

I havent been to the LA comic con in a few years so I havent had the app but I downloaded it today and its dated for last year? I checked and its up to date so when will it be current to this year? Any idea?
