It would suck for a traveling family, though. The parents would be fine seeing each other, nothing they haven't seen before, but with kids there would be some serious issues.
Edit: Based on responses, I presume this is a culture thing. I meant it as a genuine question, because it seemed weird to me. Especially to specifically call out kids.
