The krystals with a 'k' really got me. That's good marketing right there. Mad Men type shit.

Unfortunately the shipping fees of delivering it all to US data centers is likely cost-prohibitive

it's a multiple trillion industry, it's worth it. we're also burning the amazon and shredding the Serengeti animals for emergy. Just a small sacrifice for the greater good.

Do they also leave all their poop up there? I assume so.

So that is a whole lot of greens being produced and no browns to balance them out.

But good news guys, all we need is about 50 truckload of wood chips a day! I bet if we just sign up on chip drop, we can have them dropped off for free.

Million dollar idea: You need to make a giant pee funnel to get it down the mountain.

Bank: I need to talk to you about your business loan application.
OP: Yes? How may I help you?
Bank: Am I reading this right? "Giant Pee Funnel?"
OP: Giant Heated Pee Funnel. We have to keep the pee from freezing on its way down the mountain....

An average adult produces about 800 to 2,000 milliliters per day, so you are telling me there are 3000 people on everest base camp every day??

"Everest Base Camp does not have a permanent population, but during the peak climbing and trekking season (April to May), it functions like a temporary tent city housing roughly 1,000 to 1,500 people at any given time."

I hate sensationlized headlines.

The conditions on Mt Everest are far different than average!

Climbers have a much higher fluid intake than the average adult. Additionally, due to science stuff (respiratory alkalosis and cold diurese) humans pee more frequently at higher altitudes and at colder temperatures.

Even so, even if they did output 2x normal, your still not outputting 6000 liters per day year round.

And someone has to carry it up there daily...6k is like the output for 3k people.. Are there really 3000 people hanging out at base camp daily?

I don't think so...

I can drink a lot, but I am going to need at least 2-3 more people to help with all of this.
