Recurring Friendship Megathread
THIS POST IS FOR TRANS MEN/MASCS ONLY!
GUESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO POST HERE. PLEASE RESPECT OUR SPACES.
Failure to do so may result in a ban from the sub.
If you're looking to make new friends, here's a great place to start!
Do not include any advertisements to social media or other content type platforms! This is not the purpose of this thread!
Just post a bit about yourself and maybe take a look around to see if anyone else has similar interests!
Or, if you're not good at coming up with things to talk about, here's some questions you can answer:
What do you like to be called?
How old are you?
What country do you live in?
What are some hobbies you have?
List some favorite movies, TV shows, games, or other things:
What do you do for work?
Do you have any cultural or religious ties that are important to you?
Do you have any pets?
What's an interesting fact about you?
What are your transition goals?
Where are you in your transition?
Obviously you don't have to answer everything, but it might be able to guide you in the right direction if you struggle with coming up with facts about yourself on the fly.

hello, my name is ren! im 18 years old, turning 19 in november (: i currently live in switzerland but i was born in poland. my main hobbies include listening to music, graphic design, painting, watching movies/tv shows and gaming! im a die hard dc comics fan and i collect everything batman related, i also love resident evil and choice games like detroit become human. i currently work as an accountant for a car repair company. im a buddhist. i own a cat that i love very deeply, his name is loki. an interesting fact about me would be that i managed to learn swiss german in just three months. today is actually the day that i finally got to pick up my testogel prescription so its my first day on t after years of appointments!

Hi, my name is Tobi, I'm 21 and live in the uk unfortunately. I work for the NHS as a HCA in Theatres
Because of this I don't have a lot of free time to myself 😅 usually spend my days off sleeping and not much else but i like reading and playing games, grew up with sonic the hedgehog and warrior cats of course, i can sometimes draw but get very angry at it as a perfectionist so instead i like to be a bit silly and goofy to maintain my much needed life saving whimsy
I like food. Cooking and baking is very fun, and very rewarding. But also exhausting so i love to eat out as well. Whenever i manage to drag my ass out of the house to hang out with friends on a day off once every few months i always try to find a nice place to go out and enjoy tasty food together
I mostly just watch youtube and occasionally anime, but I'm open to anything really! A few weeks ago someone had me rewatching monster's university and monster's inc 🤣
I had a cat, but unfortunately lost her in 2021. She was the best. We have a family dog now, and though its not the same, i do love him to bits. He's an absolute loony and i joke sometimes that he wishes he was a cat (trying to balance on things, other maneuvers thst cats do seamlessly but his clumsy dog paws could never achieve, hiding away to have naps)
If you've read this far I'm sure you can probably tell that its highly likely I'm neurodivergent. It runs in the family and i yap a lot. I don't get to yap very often so when i do its a lot 💀
I'm a trans man, i suspected it when I was 11 but stayed closeted because of my own internalised transphobia. I started accepting myself when i was 15 after meeting a nonbinary person online and realising that... people are just people? I've been socially transitioning since i was 16 and out to my parents since I was 18. I started my first shot of testosterone with GenderGP on the 16th of September this year.

No way dude are we clones? Having the same name and being the same age is lowkey crazy especially considering this thread isn't overly busy /silly
I'm down to hang out sometime! If you wanna shoot me a message we can chat and maybe add each other on discord if you have it (i'm way more active there lol) and maybe we could see if we have some multiplayer steam games in common

Hey, I’m Marco, 28, and I’m in the Inland Empire area of SoCal. I’m looking to meet other trans men/transmasc people nearby, ideally people around my age who’d be down to hang out in person and become actual friends
I’m into concerts/raves, hiking, bouldering, lifting, gaming, movies, and trying new things. I’d especially love to meet people in the Inland Empire, but I’m open to nearby parts of SoCal too

My name is Thiago and I'm 28 years old.
I'm from the United States.
I'm an amateur musician and I enjoy video games. Undertale and Deltarune are some of my favorite games but I also enjoy a lot of Nintendo stuff.
I'm a clinical microbiologist and I love my career, microbiologist is one of my special interests so it's a great fit for me.
I'm not religious.
I have a pet cat.
I have type 1 diabetes and chronic pelvic pain from endometriosis/scar tissue.
I've been on testosterone injections since February of this year. I got a total hysterectomy in February 2025 and top surgery (nipple sparing mascetomy) in July of this year. I'm happy with my gender affirming surgeries and have no plans for additional surgeries at this time. Next month I'm meeting with my hormone provider because my testosterone levels are still below a cis man's, so I need a dosage increase. I consider myself a gay twink and that's my ultimate transition goal. I think I can achieve this goal after I get my testosterone dosage increased and with consistency in my workout routine.
