hey guys, trying to find an old game of thrones video i watched on youtube years ago and it's driving me crazy. pretty sure it got wiped in one of the copyright sweeps, but maybe someone has a reupload, archive link, or at least remembers the creator.
it was a long house stark montage, easily over 10 minutes long (maybe around 12-14 mins).
the biggest detail i remember is the intro. it literally starts music then young bran saying: "family, duty, honor... is that the right order?"
does this ring a bell for anyone? if anyone knows the editor, the title, or has a link/backup somewhere please let me know. thanks!

They should call this Game of Freaks. On GOD they're having a diddy party every other episode.

Just had a random thought. In real life (or on the internet at least), people who I've encountered who give themselves a long list of grandiose titles (some of which they've purchased - doctorates and lordships for example) tend to be insufferable jerkoffs. Maybe that should have been a warning about her character.
Actually thinking further. Does anyone remember Idi Amin? Or more correctly - "His Excellency, President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin Dada, VC, DSO, MC, CBE, Lord of All the Beasts of the Earth and Fishes of the Seas and Conqueror of the British Empire in Africa in General and Uganda in Particular". 🤔
I think he may have proclaimed himself King of Scotland and Emperor of the Moon at one point too, though perhaps I'm thinking of someone else.

I'm just wondering am I the only one that find it funny when it was revealed in the books how Cersei was able to keep herself from getting pregnant by Robert. Like her methods was literally "what that mouth do". I can't remember her inner monologue word by word but I remembered it was along the line of her eating his children and licking them off her face and hand. When I first read that, I was honestly dying from laughter, like how insane is this lady, she's literally willingly being degraded (depends how you look at the action) to prevent herself from being pregnant, but also to get some sort of satisfaction from actually digesting his children. Like damn girl, you a freak freak. Nothing serious really I just thought it was quite funny.

Watching Hardhome (S5E8) one of the best episodes of the series IMO. I wish Karsi made it past this, she would have been a good character going forward. She just couldn’t get past those little children walkers.

Question for book experts: Which Targaryen queens and princesses do you think these characters could be fancast as?
Also, what other characters (male and female) from other shows would you suggest who you see as Targaryen-looking? (I could possibly create a family tree using their images)
Actresses and their characters from this picture:
Rebecca Ferguson —Elizabeth Woodville (The
White Queen) - top left
Meryl Streep — Donna Sheridan (Mamma Mia!) - top right
Sarah Jessica Parker — Sarah Sanderson (Hocus Pocus) - middle left
Charlize Theron — Queen Ravenna (Snow White and the Huntsman) - middle right
Emily Blunt — Freya (The Huntsman: Winter's War) — bottom left
Elizabeth Mitchell — Snow Queen Ingrid (Once Upon a Time) - bottom right

In S6E3 Jon Snow is revived from death and responds to a question about what he saw with "nothing at all". He later repeats this claim in S8E6 to Tyrion when asked if there's an afterlife to which he responds "not that I've ever seen."
What's the significance of this to the story? A post from 10 years ago claims it's disputable whether there really is an afterlife. OP claims Melisandre asks what he saw in season 6 and takes his answer "nothing at all" to confirm he was meant to come back. Idk if I buy that. But that aside, what's the significance of it being true or not anyway?

Just got Cards Against Thrones, was expecting one of the black cards to be "I once brought a jackass and a honeycomb into a brothel [blank]" or at least something similar that actually works with the format of the game
I was wrong.
Guess I'm returning it now and writing a strongly worded letter to the creators 😅
Edit - typo

You’re tired of the life you’re currently living and this reality in general, but you’re given the option to go live in the world of Game of Thrones, with the one exception that you have to live on the Wall and become a man or woman (they’re accepting girls now, the Others are coming!) of the Night’s Watch. Would you do it?
It doesn’t sound all that bad to me, to be honest. A lot of stews, but all-natural food with no weird chemicals. You get to work out and practice swordsmanship every day. You get to wear sick black cloaks all the time. You get to hang out with your friends all day and bond over the suffering that is life on the Wall.
Plus, you get to live in a world where honor and loyalty actually mean something, and you’ll never have to worry about social media or the internet ever again. And let’s be honest, getting to see a direwolf up close would be pretty damn cool.
If I wasn’t married I’d go in half a heart beat and bring my husky with me.

I might be the only person who actually liked the scene with Arya and the Lannister soldiers in season 7.
It normalized the enemy, made Arya think about the opposition, and understand that normal people were caught up in the bs and that they were doing their best even if they didn’t fully believe in what they were doing.

My first rewatch 7 years later.
Season 7 gets trashed and I get it. The ravens, Euron.. .
But I'm on a rewatch and Episode 4 “The Spoils of War” deserves its flowers
The Attack is the best battle in the whole show. Better than Battle of the Bastards.
Better than the Long Night… if we can even call it that.
Daenerys finally stops waiting around and pulls up on Jaime's army with Drogon and Dothraki.
When i heard the screaming before seeing anything The Lannister soldiers' faces when they realize what's coming over that hill? Then Drogon flying over and the face of king slayer. That GOT magic returned for me.
When Bronn gets on the scorpion and actually hits Drogon. Drogon goes down, Dany's trying to pull the bolt out, and Jaime sees her and grabs a spear and charges at her! I wish i could remember how i felt the first time i watched it.
And right before it all goes wrong, they cut to Tyrion on the hill, watching his brother ride at a dragon. He's lowly saying “you idiot” with a look of despair.
Drogon turns, opens his mouth, and Bronn tackles Jaime into the river at the last second.
CINEMA
and we seriously need to have a conversation about Tyrion’s motives.

I was looking into it and I saw that this guy (the actor, not the character lol) was the heir to the well known paint chain! One says he’s going to have a lot of “paint money” haha
