Serious blackmail is the only thing that would ever make Trump bend the knee like a good dog, considering his extreme narcissism.

You do realize that if Putin does have blackmail material, it's only good as blackmail if the information isn't public yet, yes?

He would, but he's already been raking in mountains of cash via market manipulation. Even he knows there are far easier methods of being greedy than to openly barter with an enemy of the nation.

He knows he’s basically untouchable.

Even if he was found sending information to the KGB directly he would just pardon himself.

The guy who was impeached TWICE, has been inside the inner circle of a certain banker, and committed various other crimes other than the ones stated here and in the comments above.

The entire premise of a pardon is that you can't be prosecuted. Him having a disregard for the law and not understanding that a self pardon doesn't stick is just part of it. Just because he doesn't understand it doesn't mean that the army of lawyers ready to rip him a new one won't understand.

As soon as he isn't president, there's mountains of evidence across various categories to charge him with. Using the presidency to enrich himself, whatever the hell is in the Esptein files, etc.
