Please censor names on your posts!
Hey guys so I kind of want to just stop this before it’s an annoying problem. You never know when the next big reddit controversy is gonna be and therefore when the mod team starts cracking down on subs.
Please black out or crop out usernames in your posts, and don’t give out links to threads or comments or profiles on or off Reddit.
Thank you!

Is sportsball hate a Western phenomenon?
Maybe a stupid question, but does sportsball hate exist outside of Europe, the US, Canada, and Australia? Obviously, the overwhelming majority of what we'd see on reddit no matter what is from those countries, but I can't recall ever seeing in large numbers this type of content from elsewhere. But baseball is huge in Japan and the Caribbean, soccer is huge in South and Central America, Africa, and the Middle East (really, everywhere). Is there anybody here who lives in those places that can say if these places have their own sportsball dorks and they just don't get posted to reddit? Or is it more rare?

So, this is what so many have a problem with?

Rabbi Mizrachi says you are a servant and fool to pay to watch a sports game
Just a bit about myself: I am an atheist Ethnic Jew and I am not really one to care a lot about sports but I find it insane that someone would hate sports or think they are superior to those who enjoy sports. I just found this sub again, I think I have seen it a while back, and it made me think of this Rabbi who has said insane things about sports. In the past, this dude said that sports is a Greek thing, and therefore for the Goyim/Gentiles(he uses both in his videos to refer to non-Jews) and therefore Jews shouldn't participate with sports, whether watching or doing(that is why I thought of him when I saw the post where the person said it was a goy thing to like sports). Well here is another insane clip from that Rabbi. Sorry for going on a rant.

Wait till you learn about recruited athletes
OP is ranting about how insane it is that colleges view a 36 on the ACT as equivalent to a 1600 on the SAT when the ACT has so much more leeway.
Someone else completely unprompted decides to make it about athletic scholarships.
