This reminds of of that one Simpson episode how to govt manipulate its masses and scapegoats the immigrant workers to divert the public angers of their incompetence.

This is just that we are the target and the distraction.

4

u/Reasonable_Day4996 4h ago

Except the government is not involved in manipulating its masses against immigrant workers. Few groups and members of the public are.

u/anakari 21h ago

Man it's fascinating that people who literally were British migrants are now pushing new migrants out.

151

u/brazendude 21h ago

Their ancestors were British criminals, sent there as part of their punishment for their crimes..

23

u/Euphoric_Peak_3914 19h ago

The vast majority of early settlers were not convicts

14

u/dagp89 14h ago

Who cares about accuracy when talking to racists, the notion that australians are descendants of convicts is here to stay....

3

u/Novel-Truant 3h ago

And the same can be said about Indians and pooing in the street

-5

u/Euphoric_Peak_3914 14h ago

Convicts who built a country that is the envy of the world

15

u/dagp89 14h ago

You guys are the Saudi Arabia of the west, dig shit up and sell it to the world. Apart from mining and real estate there's nothing running that economy of yours.

There's a reason why you're called the lucky country, it's got very little to do with what you guys did and more to do with your geography.

-8

u/Euphoric_Peak_3914 14h ago

Yep, fate chose us above all others. We've also historically been a world leader in political, social and economic reform. Basically the model country.

8

u/kairos-93 12h ago edited 10h ago

Yes, your treatment of aboriginal people is evidence of your generosity and how progressive you are.

1

u/Euphoric_Peak_3914 4h ago

Like what India is doing today? https://www.npr.org/2021/12/07/1062178644/riots-haven-broken-out-after-soldiers-in-india-killed-members-of-an-indigenous-t

The killings of more than a dozen tribal people by Indian forces threaten a shaky ceasefire in one of the world's longest-running struggles for self-determination by indigenous people.

Never think you have any moral highground over us haha

6

u/kairos-93 14h ago

Lol. No one is envious of Australia.

2

u/Fit-Abroad-8796 5h ago

Why do so many Indians keep trying to migrate there

-1

u/Euphoric_Peak_3914 14h ago

Riiight...which is why everyone is desperate to move here. Australia is one of the only countries the US has ever had a net migration deficit with.

-8

Didn't you know Bharat strong! Superpower by 2020 2030 2047!

All those millions of Indians jumping over each other to come here are certainly envious

My ancestors were in Australia long before the poms even knew it existed. Stay in school.

2

u/very-genki 1h ago

Do you know how little of a crime you can commit to be a convict? People would hunt in the queens land (literally forests) to feed their families, get caught and then thrown on the ship. They weren't sending the worst, their jails wete just full.

-2

u/Paws_of_Justice 17h ago

Australia was the prison land of the criminals from UK. Thats why they also have that prison accent

12

u/Vlodivostonks 17h ago

No it wasn't. You're fighting ignorance with ignorance. The "Australians are convicts" is a prejudicial myth peddled by English people. Mostly in context of sports rivalries.

1

u/m3rc3n4ry 5h ago

Not according to the aus museum of history https://www.nma.gov.au/defining-moments/resources/convict-transportation-peaks. I would contest that the accent is a prison accent tho. There's a theory about alcoholism, but that would be a long post.

1

u/FlaviusJosephusKony 3h ago

This land built by prisoners ended up being more developed than Britain. I’d say that’s something to be proud of

1

u/Dom29ando 23m ago

why? you didn't build any of it. generations of immigrants did

Really feels like the hate against Indians has been reaching a boiling tip over point lately. I recall racism being bad for Indians around a decade ago as well, but not to this level in all honesty.

I might be mistaken, but I guess Trump and the rise of right wing white supremacy has really brought it in badly for us as Indians.

u/Pirate_Jack_ 20h ago

32

u/cool-fire_ 19h ago

We are never going to achieve anything by starting a dialogue with racist trolls. Their goal and motivation is not to engage in a dialogue. We need a campaign similar to stop asian hate campaign that happened during covid

7

u/globeglobeglobe 18h ago edited 18h ago

I think you misunderstand the reasoning of these racists. In their mind, it’s very simple: Western countries are clean and developed, implying that their inhabitants possess an advanced and enlightened cultural essence; India (and the South Asian region more broadly), by contrast, are dirty and underdeveloped, implying a deeply ingrained and quasi-genetic natural inclination to barbarism and filth. That members of the Indian diaspora are very often successful in Western countries, therefore, can (in their minds) only be the result of devious and underhanded stratagems that Westerners, enlightened as they are, would consider dishonorable. It is obvious to anyone with a even little bit of political, economic, and economic literacy that this reasoning is nonsensical, but it’s awfully convenient to those who want to justify what they see as a natural social hierarchy and their deserved position within it. Only when India itself has reached a reasonable level of development will they, very begrudgingly, be forced to change their minds, as they have recently for China. I can foresee this being the case in Tier-1 cities, Western coastal regions, KL/TN, and certain small North/Northeast states in 10-20 years, but for the rest of the country I’m not holding my breath.

4

u/cool-fire_ 17h ago

While i agree to your overall reasoning, i think we are talking about different things. As you mentioned, a large part of the country is not going to be developed anytime soon, so there would always be content to justify being racist against us.

Secondly a big part of these hate campaigns is also astroturfed. Not all of this is organic although with sustained propaganda it is turning into people's own beliefs as well.

There's no way to counter these without having structured campaigns. If they claim we are doing fraud, our proofs against those will not work, they will simply move the goalposts.

12

u/globeglobeglobe 18h ago

The pervasiveness of such sentiments owes a lot to the fact that Indians very often work in white-collar jobs that Western liberals want for themselves and their progeny. As such, standing up to anti-Indian sentiment comes at a personal cost to them, meaning that they’re more likely to let it slide or even join in than they would for racism against other groups. The advent of generative AI and the devastation it promises to wreak on the white-collar job market will only heighten these contradictions, it’ll get worse before it gets better.

42

u/Vlodivostonks 17h ago

Why are we so obsessed with blaming liberals for the onset of racism when 99% of all of it comes from conservatives in these countries ?

9

u/Action-Final 14h ago

I don't get this either, one of the reasons maybe as someone laid out in the comments that Indians who move abroad tend to be conservative or selectively liberal (only when it matters to them) so I feel it's some mental gymnastics to put this on liberals. I see this on r/ABCDesis where there's this narrative that we know that conservatives are going to be racists but liberals are supposed to be the anti-racist saviours which they aren't really doing in this case so that's why it's the liberals fault.

While there is some merit to the argument that liberals have had muted reactions to racism against Indians, but imo one of the main reasons for that other than both demographics going for the same jobs is that anti-racist movements have to come from within the group first. That's what happened with BLM

3

u/Low-Quality-144 1h ago

I'm a white Aussie and I can tell you without doubt it comes from the likes of Pauline Hanson One Nation and the conservatives that have fallen for the Trump nonsense and want that here. There are Indians falling for this nonsense also. It is very sad and disruptive. The average center or left Aussie has zero issues with immigration.

2

u/Fire_Pea 35m ago

Are you guys talking about American liberals or Australian Liberals? Because the Liberal party in Australia is the right wing party.

5

u/Educational-Cut-9402 16h ago

Because lot of indian migrants tend to be more conservative than conservatives too in my experience.

3

u/globeglobeglobe 15h ago

Why do people identify Indian Americans with conservatism/MAGA? Most Indian Americans vote Democratic and some very prominent ones (Mamdani, Khanna, Jayapal) sit on its left flank.

3

u/Action-Final 14h ago

Lot of western liberals can't identify Indian society properly with nuance, they connect the dots by superficial knowledge like Indians in the US are mostly upper caste and India keeps voting Modi in....hence, all Indians are conservative

3

u/Educational-Cut-9402 12h ago

Is that why so many Indians abroad show up to Modi rallies everywhere even though they're citizens of other countries? No nuance?

1

u/Fit-Abroad-8796 5h ago

In Australia the conservative party is called the liberal party that’s probably why

-9

u/globeglobeglobe 17h ago edited 17h ago

Liberal-leaning university admissions committees used to disadvantage South Asian-origin applicants (not internationals, but US citizens) on the grounds that they lacked the “leadership” and “personality” qualities needed to attend, beliefs which were reinforced by negative portrayals in liberal-owned cultural industries. While conservative rhetoric about Indians might be more blatant and extreme, its social acceptability is legitimized by the long history that liberals have of silently ignoring if not approving. Although I suppose those who live in India would have seen much more of the conservative rhetoric.

11

u/Vlodivostonks 16h ago

We are just vomiting out bullshit now. Some of you want to be white conservatives so bad it's sad.

-1

u/globeglobeglobe 16h ago

I’m a socialist lol. Not everyone who disagrees with liberals is a 45 year old NRI BJP uncle who tries to bond with white conservatives over hatred of Muslims.

2

u/girthyclock 15h ago

What liberal leaning admissions committees are you talking about dude? You have absolutely no fucking clue how US college admissions work so please stop talking. Zero evidence and just spouting off nonsensical horseshit. You have zero idea how conservative college boards are in the US. You probably hear “liberal arts” and think it’s all blue haired protestors. Idiot.

-1

u/Paws_of_Justice 17h ago edited 17h ago

Yeah... One of the top comments in this thread is generalizing Australians as convicts.

I can promise you there are more liberals that dislike Indians because of the racism they have seen them display rather than on the basis that admission committees used to dislike Indians and therefore they need to jump on the bandwagon too

5

u/globeglobeglobe 17h ago

Well, I think it’s hypocrisy to complain about racist generalizations while engaging in racist generalizations oneself. Such people don’t have consistent principles against racism—they merely believe they shouldn’t be the ones on the receiving end—but their existence doesn’t mean that bigotry against their group is justified, any more than the existence of Islamists justifies anti-Muslim sentiment or the existence of white nationalists justifies anti-white sentiment.

2

u/Smallheadedcat 17h ago

I can promise you that there is no logical reason to hate on or dislike or even to say negative things about another race or natural identity, it's purely an emotional hormonal human instinct called out-group derogation. All racism and tribalism is just the out-group derogation instinct, a hormonal social status anxiety response in the lower brain which makes people feel the need to spread negative information about the rival out-group

1

u/Paws_of_Justice 17h ago

You're pretty knowledgable. What would you say is the reason things have gotten so bad in recent times though?

2

u/Smallheadedcat 16h ago

The out-group derogation instinct is a neurohormonal response, so it's not activated by default in the brain but if the amygdala brain detects a threat it will activate. It's mostly to do with social status/power competition. Neuroscience using brain imaging technology has experimented on and documented and mapped out the human in-group out-group brain pretty well by now. When it comes to tribalistic humans no matter who they are, if they are exhibiting Tribalistic behavior, there's nearly 100% chance that their in-group out-group brain is activated and influencing their thoughts and speech to be biased.

2

u/Paws_of_Justice 16h ago

What does that have to do with how things have gotten worse recently?

3

u/Smallheadedcat 16h ago

Competition between races for social status is heavily increasing in the past few years. People of all races are getting more threatened and insecure of their racial identities. That's the true reason racism is increasing. It's all emotional and vibes based, logic has nothing to do with it

→ More replies (0)

1

u/composedofidiot 15h ago

Not quite as simple as that, although I agree with your broader point (ingroup-outgroup bias is a useful lens to look at it all.)

We found inter-group biases in some previously identified brain regions (e.g., the medial prefrontal cortex, insula) but also in many previously non-identified brain regions (e.g., the cerebellum, precentral gyrus). Sub-group analyses indicated that neural correlates of inter-group biases may be mostly context-specific. Regarding different types of group memberships, inter-group bias toward trivial groups was evident only in the cingulate cortex, while inter-group biases toward "real" groups (ethnic, national, or political groups) involved broader sets of brain regions.

u/Mild_Karate_Chop 18h ago

7Contrary opinion... Indians abroad  on an aggregate are visceral in their hatred towards others ...Partucularly Muslims and Black's.  Was discussing this with someone who was talking about anti Indian hate and rhetoric but was at the same time bilious about Muslims in the UK .

The trend is found on dicussion boards and reddit too..

I'd like to remind people that historically every migrant group in the west have had to face extreme racism despite integration. This is just indians turn right now.

28

And unlike a few decades back, social media spreads anti-indian views like absolute wildfire. No longer is it confined to some bumfuck conservative town in the USA, but spreads to every corner of the country

9

u/Unusual-Nature2824 16h ago

Actually a lot of ragebait against Indians now is produced in countries like Sri Lanka, SE Asia and India itself using AI. I recently watched a documentary about people joining online courses on how to make ragebait content because engagement value is high amongst population abroad. Some people even make good money out of this.

Every migrant everywhere in the history of the world. Nobody likes a new group coming in big numbers it’s human nature. The best we can hope for in harmony over time. And let’s not pretend that Indian doesn’t have its own discrimination practices against Muslims and the lower castes

1

u/Fit-Abroad-8796 5h ago

Indians actually have been in Australia for decades. The difference is, back in the earlier days they happily adopted Australian western culture, clothing etc. and integrated in society, socialised with Australians etc and became Australian.

Now many come and attempt to turn Australia into India. They don’t adjust to their new home country, including the Australian values, and that does anger people. They only socialise with other Indians, they only wear Indian clothes etc.

If Indians came to Australia were happy to truly embrace the Australian way of life, there would be less backlash.

1

u/OAFR1 1h ago

Every migrant group has done this. My grandparents were wogs and barely learned any english despite living in Australia for 50 years. They stayed in their wog enclave and never integrated. But they're good migrants apparently (cus they're considered white now).

1

u/Fit-Abroad-8796 1h ago

Not true, Indians arrived even earlier than Italians, yet are more accepted now because have adapted more. Some Indians fought for Australia in WW2. The Sikhs seem to have adapted the best as they eat meat, drink alcohol etc.

1

u/OAFR1 24m ago

They didn't adapt, their children were just born Australian. I know South Asian Australians and they are Australian because they were born and raised here, yet still have to deal with racist attitudes like yours.

50

The people facing this aren't the ones beating up biharis in India. You are just happy at someone else's misery.

29

u/Curious-Compote4793 20h ago

Both can be wrong at the same time ffs

-1

u/Unusual-Nature2824 20h ago

idk if only Bihar didn’t eat up other states taxes and actually contributed to something other than painting paan over the country then things will definitely change for the better

21

u/icecoldcold 18h ago

Do you even hear yourself? You are no different from the racists in Australia or the US or Europe.

-7

u/Unusual-Nature2824 16h ago

Its not racist to question why a state that produces the most number of civil servants is also the poorest most corrupt and least civilized.

2

u/petit_cochon 15h ago

You're stereotyping an entire group. Yes, that's prejudice.

-2

u/Unusual-Nature2824 15h ago

not really when all the stats back it up. Atleast the stereotypes against Indians is defensible because we are model minority and the wealthiest in other countries. Bihar doesn't produce a successful minority in any other state. BIMARU term is not a stereotype. having lowest literacy rate is not a stereotype.

1

u/ganduekpremkatha 10h ago

sit your ass down, you're not a model minority anywhere. The only reason Indians earn high in the west, and have a good reputation or at least 'had' one, was because of immigration policies like the h1b visa that selected only educated professionals, and we should be glad(or not) it did, because if ordinary Indians had started migrating in droves abroad before, like in Canada, we'd have learnt what bigotry meant long ago.

1

u/DeliMeatBoss 14m ago

You should sit your ass back down too. Scientists and engineers on H1b were beaten or murdered by the dotbusters and a 100 other hateful movements solely because they were brown.

It doesn't matter if the Indians who migrated were ordinary or the cream of society, they've always been hated because of the color of their skin and they succeeded despite these challenges.

11

u/Avidith 18h ago

Sounds very similar to the excuses those racists give.

3

u/Unusual-Nature2824 16h ago

Bihar produces the second most IAS officers in the country only behind UP and yet it remains poor and continues to drain India's resources. The math doesn't math.

7

u/kairos-93 16h ago

If Bihar and UP stopped providing human capital to the rest of the country, things would come to a screeching halt. Farming, labour, construction, mining are all propped up due to the Hindi heartland.

They do the jobs none of us want or are willing to do. Not unlike the South Asian immigrants in Western and Gulf countries.

-2

u/Unusual-Nature2824 16h ago

sure even NE India and Orissa provide human capital but why single UP and Bihar as though they're doing some kind of good deed service? Also UP and Bihar are willfully underdeveloped because people choose to depend on freebies and play victim card than look out for their own advancement. Even an educated person from UP and Bihar look for only government jobs because its the ultimate ticket to be lazy, corrupt and continue to leech off the government.

Also answer this. If UP and Bihar produce the most number of IAS officers in the country then why is Bihar still underdeveloped?

3

u/Paws_of_Justice 16h ago

Because they're dealing with corruption issues like everyone else.

-1

u/Unusual-Nature2824 15h ago

Can't call it dealing when every other state has enterprising people setting up new businesses and startups despite corruption. Look at Orissa's transformation vs Bihar. When people's end goal is to only study for a government job while feeding off the taxes that rightfully should go to other states, its not bad luck but a systemic collapse of human capital.

1

u/kairos-93 15h ago edited 15h ago

And who says no one is setting up businesses in Noida, Lucknow or Patna? They're there. You're prejudiced so you don't want to look at them. I've grown up in UP. It gets a bad rap for most things justifiably but the people are nothing if not enterprising.

0

u/indi_n0rd Modi janai Mudi Kaka da 14h ago

Your replies are unpopular but there is slight grain of truth to them.

-17

u/arre_blyat 20h ago

the same logic applies to india and the world

16

u/Unusual-Nature2824 20h ago

India doesn’t eat up the world’s taxes. we have one of the least foreign debt relative our gdp. But bihar is literally a freeloader state

11

u/Pirate_Jack_ 20h ago

Hate Indians get across the world is not equivalent to what Bihar faces in India solely because of the reasons why it happens.

Bihar is one of the most underdeveloped, unhinged, casteist and unsafe state in the country. Most of these biharis who defend their state wont be in Bihar. The people who stay in Bihar dont care about the online hate and stereotype they get because they simply dont care and will continue to make the place as shitty as possible. There is a very good reason why Biharis get the hate they get.

While indians gets hate abroad mostly for what happens in this country. Most Indians living abroad live quite decently and contribute enormously to the economy by paying taxes. The fringe elements that you see in news are less than 10% and they are blown extremely out of proportion. And another major reason is the sheer number of indians immigrating to other countries. Its ridiculous.

1

u/refusestonamethyself 18h ago

All the things you mentioned about Bihar is literally why Indians get hated on by foreigners.

And if you think Indians don’t get hated for their behaviour outside India, then you’re dead wrong. A major reason why an Indian is hated in Canada or Australia is because some of them decided to not follow their driving etiquette, acting like creeps in nightclubs, not keeping their place tidy etc. The racism is never okay, but let’s not pretend the amount of bad actors that are there in the community, which played a part in people hating Indians.

1

u/Paws_of_Justice 16h ago

Dude, everyone wants to believe their hatred is legitimate and other people's hatred is illegitimate. This is why people make fun of those who say "I'm not racist, but" comments.

Saying there are good reasons Bihar gets the hate it does is just standard issue racism.

1

u/kairos-93 15h ago

I know, right? I'm amazed at the amount of hatred these people are able to casually spout and justify.

1

u/Pirate_Jack_ 15h ago

I was trying to rationalize the cause. Bihar to india != India to the world. Indians dont do to world what Bihar does to India, not even 10%.

My wife is from Bihar and neither she would ever settle there nor will she let our kid grow their.

All i am saying is Biharis get their reputation because of their actions. Not because of their exisistence. Its 100% wrong to differentiate because of color of skin, height, language and other stuffs that one cant change. Its a different thing altogether to call out stupid behaviours and criminal activities. Especially when they dont even try to change.

1

u/Paws_of_Justice 15h ago

Buddy, every single person that hates an entire group always blames the actions of the people instead of their skin color, that is what I meant by the "I'm not racist, but..." example.

I assume you are Indian. Do you believe some Indians have strong dislike for Pakistanis because of their skin color or because they associate acts of terror with everyone from the country instead of a select few?

India’s government and media need to do more to enhance their image in these countries. Reverse the narrative. Show the opulence, how you respect women, how you are not the sexist, unclean, villagers they make you out to be.

u/Blackbeard567 11h ago

We dont need to "show" anything to people who already have this mindset. Its you people who need to distinguish whats real and not

1

u/Famous_Truck_3406 18m ago

India treats women terribly. Let’s not pretend otherwise. Australians do not want people with that misogynistic mindset in Australia. Some of the most racist people I’ve met are Indians towards other Indians in lower castes. So don’t pretend Indian people are all sweet and nice to everyone.

1

u/Independent-Theme798 10h ago

Are we going to pretend the things he mentioned aren’t real? Come on now.

0

u/Fit-Abroad-8796 5h ago

I don’t have that mindset, but many do because in the western media all we often hear about is Indian men raping women, Indian men being inappropriate in DMs, call centre scammers, slums etc etc.

I have been to India and have Indian friends, I know it’s an amazing country and the people are awesome. But many Australians only know what the media tells them.

Talk to any woman who travels on PT in Australia too.

u/emu_warof1932 4h ago

"You people" buddy the absolute majority of Aussies DO not support these stickers or racism in general.

1

u/Bergasms 53m ago

Two types of people in Australia.

First type: "I am, you are, we are Australia".

Other type: racist cunts.

The first group vastly outweighs the second, but the second make for good media headlines.

u/Acceptable_Ad_1240 16h ago

What you do in your country invariably happens to yourself in another country. The more you are racist and Islamophobic here the more they are there. So.... We don't really have a high horse to judge it. Accept there are bad people and move on.

u/plmzxuk 14h ago

How much do people in india carr about perception of indians outside the country? How much do indians generally care about the diaspora?

Asking this as someone outside the country

-71

u/ConcernedKu 22h ago edited 19h ago

I find it hard to wholly sympathize when too many Indians treat minority cultures in India the exact same way.

39

u/noir_dx 21h ago

You can do both. You can call out racism against your own people (or against others) while objectively criticizing your own people (or others). You ideally should, and you'll be shocked that people do this more commonly.

Remember one thing: they won't stop being a racist towards people like us even if we weren't casteist, bigots, sexist, racist. So that's all the more reason to do most. I know this will be tough, especially we are on the receiving end of both types of shitheads. You should call out hypocrites too.

-29

u/ConcernedKu 21h ago

Who exactly are my own people? People who are racist to minorities are not my people. People who are tolerant and inclusive are my people. And if there's any among those who are at the receiving end of racism, then I absolutely sympathize.

I think it's only fair for a seething and deplorable racist to get a taste of their own medicine.

16

u/Aathishs04 20h ago

Reg

I [..] medicine

So in your mind, this racism is retribution and therefore not worthy of elimination? Even though being racist to racists doesn't really make the life of a victim of racism any better?

u/Aathishs04 21h ago

You really don't have to sympathise to call out racism as wrong.

Standards really shouldn't be contingent on the hypocrisy of the people they're being applied to.

-17

u/ConcernedKu 21h ago

Hypocrisy/double standards is a pretty good reason to dismiss outrage in my book. Racism is absolutely wrong. But if the people on the receiving end of it have no qualms doing it to others, and only cry foul when they are on the receiving end, then I have zero sympathy for them.

5

u/Aathishs04 20h ago

You may have noticed that you are talking about calling out outrage, and i am talking about calling out racism.

My point is that "sympathy" is irrelevant and that condemnation of racism itself must take precedence.

The reason I'm bringing up this distinction is that your first comment spoke only of sympathy, and avoided an explicit condemnation of the racism itself, which I hope was either unintentional or in your mind, so self-evident it didn't need addressing.

1

u/ConcernedKu 20h ago

Relevant to who or what? For me calling out racism only applies when the victims aren't racist themselves. Those among the victims who are racist, I say well deserved. And those who aren't, I sympathize with them.

Calling out racism without context is meaningless to me. So when you say irrelevant, irrelevant to who or what?

7

u/Aathishs04 19h ago

Irrelevant to the person witnessing or reacting to the racism.

You keep going back to sympathy. I'm not talking about sympathy. You can sympathise with whomever you feel deserves it and withhold it from whomever you don't. That's entirely up to you.

My point is that racism remains racism regardless of who its victim is, be it an infant or a member of the KKK.

A victim's own racism may make them a hypocrite, but it doesn't make racism against them any less deserving of condemnation.

You can condemn both without contradiction. Calling out racism isn't an endorsement of its victims.

1

u/ConcernedKu 19h ago

I'm inclined to agree with you that you can call out racism and simultaneously withhold sympathy from racist people experiencing racism.

But in my experience the reason racism perpetuates is hypocrisy. When people call out racism but don't make enough of an attempt to address racism in their own ranks, they lose credibility with their aggressors.

13

u/poolnoodlefightchamp 21h ago

Good thing no one cares about your book.

0

u/ConcernedKu 21h ago

Just like I don't care for theirs.

9

u/poolnoodlefightchamp 21h ago

We care for theirs. Anyone who doesn't generalise a whole group of people does.

1

u/ConcernedKu 21h ago

I said I don't care. I didn't ask what you or "we" care for. You people and your mafia may be in the habit of using validation and approval like weapons to get what you want, but your "I" vs "we" isn't going to work on me.

9

u/poolnoodlefightchamp 21h ago

My people and my mafia? Are you being racist towards me? Perhaps you deserve a taste of your own medicine as well.

1

u/ConcernedKu 20h ago

Yeah you and the people you use to use collective opinion to overwhelm an individual opinion, just like you've been doing on this very thread. That's not racist. Racism is irrational. What you're doing is open for anyone to see right here. Do I hate people like you? Yes I do. Does it make me racist. No it doesn't.

7

u/poolnoodlefightchamp 20h ago edited 20h ago

Oh no, someone who generalises a minority in another country hates a person from said minority! Stop the press!

(Your entire premise was that Indians deserve racism based on a generalisation. You can't argue your way out of this).

Anyways, if you really didn't care about what I think you'd have stopped responding to this thread ages ago.

So all Indians are racists and discriminate against others? When did you conduct this survey?

-6

u/ConcernedKu 21h ago

I didn't say all Indians. I said many Indians. But what else can I expect from professional gaslighters with double standards?

14

u/godblessthegays Aunty National 21h ago

This makes zero sense when foreigners will see you as Indian first, not whatever minority within India you’re of

Indeed they are are racist and embrace casteism in their daily lives even when they migrate

-17

u/benbigpi 21h ago

These people do the same and worst in india. Any minority has to live in constant fear of life. Atleast these people are just putting up posters. Not lynching people like indians do in india .

-2

u/ConcernedKu 21h ago

Exactly. Scum of the worst kind.

0

u/cheentichutney 7h ago

Horrible sentence structure in the headline. Why were indians found on food products in australian supermarkets?

-9

u/magrandan 16h ago

By the time I read this another plane with 700 Indians landed in Australia. Don’t blame us, blame the Australian government for opening the borders wider than Las Vegas hooker.

5

u/shreksprincessa 14h ago

Don’t blame the people who choose to be racist against Indians instead of the government? Who you literally just said should hold the blame?

0

u/Fantastic-Act-9124 2h ago

The Government is to blame. It is the people who unfortunately get dealt with the other end of the stick in this case being the Indian migrants. Can you not see the problem here?

-5

u/Fantastic-Act-9124 15h ago

It really is horrendous. Instead of growing curious and interested about a culture everyone has grown increasingly resentful because of an overburden and over-migration. 90% of apartment blocks in Sydney's western suburbs now are oozing with the smell of curry, and I used to like curry dammit. Don't get me started on the poor hygiene either

5

u/shreksprincessa 14h ago

We literally smear shit up our asses when we wipe with toilet paper, don’t talk about hygiene.

You’re not more entitled to Australia because you’re white and you can critique mass migration without being racist.

2

u/BicycleBozo 13h ago
