Amazing Zac Bauermaster currently serves as principal of Providence Elementary School. He believes that school should be the place where kids want to be.

If we lived in a world where you could afford to do what youre passionate about, we would havw more of this. We need to invest more into education

I concur. We need to be removing at least one billionaire from the equation each month. Sick of these money grubbing fucks destroying society through their greed

I remember my elementary school janitor was the type the loved the students. He was a middle aged Cajun French speaker that all the students loved. He was a rotund man with black hair and a mustache that always wore blue jean overalls and a red plaid shirt. He always wore a plaid long sleeve shirt and now that I think about it he did look like Mario, but the kids never made the connection because back then Mario’s overalls were red. I remember always hearing the kids say “Mr. Broussard” whenever he went down the hall. I would look over and see his oversized alligator belt buckle catching the sunlight. It was like we had our own celebrity. He would very frequently bring his accordion and play it for the kids during recess. I looked him up recently and it turned out he was also a well known Cajun musician in the artist, but he unfortunately died a bit young due to Covid back in 2020.

Man My school was very small and the custodians were the coolest. Some left the school but still showed up for our graduations, one guy even played Santa near Christmas at the local restaurant. although he got fired around 2022 for raising his voice at some kids because he caught them making a mess of the bathrooms.

The kid who outstretched his arms in the wheelchair made me sooooo happy. That looked so fun.

I assure you he makes enough. Now, pay teachers based on merit so the good ones can get raises!

There are some workplaces that might want to think about not punishing their employees for being there too.

I’m sorry but I’m just imagining him planning this and then videoing the video and editing it himself… so we can see what an awesome guy he is? 🤔

I remember one day I was walking too close to the wall and accidentally bumped my head up against a TV hanging on the wall. My principal saw this and called me into his office, (I did not know what for, I thought I was in trouble(also he was somewhat new and generaly serious so my expectations were off)) he went over to a shelf and grabbed a hard hat, then gestured it towards me. I laughed a bit then he sat it back on the shelf and I was like "oh man I didn't know you saw that" That guy had a strange sense of humor and mostly took his job seriously. He was A-OK in my book, but most didn't like him

Republicans are telling me that public schools are bad. Is this the guy doing the un consented child sex changes in the bathroom?!?!?

Republicans actually believe teachers transition kids at schools and some even have litter boxes for kids who identify as cats.
Republicans are dumb af lol

I've been on r/teachers reading about how some principals and admins like to be the ones to give students and parents a free pass for everything, letting them be the cool, fun person. Hope that's not what's happening here.

My daughter's school has a principal like this. He's fun, he cares about the students, knows all their names. He supports the staff and has their back. But when its time for discipline and the rules, he is strict and holds students and staff responsible for their actions.
One time I asked him how he does it and he said to me that "I'm not here to be liked. I'm here to make sure the students feel seen and feel safe. I'm here to make sure the staff can do their jobs without interference from me. I'm ok with not being liked by parents but i will always stand up for my staff."
