Ask the Community Sunspots on lips
Does anyone know how to fade or get rid of these sun spots on my lips? They got a little too much sun and appeared.

Medicube products you can’t live without? Recently started my skincare journey.
Little to no acne, I often moisturize and have been using tretinoin for about 4 weeks now. I happen to love Medicube but there is just so many options and so much to chose from.

I purchased this Skin1004 sunscreen after hearing lots of good things about it. But I don't use an oil cleanser and I have never double cleansed. Is it OK to just use a regular cleanser (RoundLab 1025 Dokdo cleanser)? Will that be enough to completely remove this sunscreen, or do I really need to double cleanse?

Hi everyone!
My mom is 45, and over the past year, I’ve noticed that her face looks duller and somewhat darker than before. I am looking to build a good skincare routine for her that helps with brightness, uneven skin tone, hydration, and fine lines.
current products are, but has not started using them
\\\\\\\* WishCare sunscreen
\\\\\\\* Dot & Key Ceramide moisturiser
\\\\\\\* Celimax Retinal Shot
\\\\\\\* NatHabit Mukhalaya Patchouli Manjistha oil
considering adding a vitamin C serum, but I’m open to better recommendations.
Budget isn’t an issue, and I’m open to products from any country, including Korean, Japanese, European, or Indian skincare.
I’d love recommendations based on actual experience, especially for:
\\\\\\\* Improving dullness and uneven pigmentation
\\\\\\\* Getting healthier, more radiant-looking skin
\\\\\\\* Reducing fine lines and improving skin texture
\\\\\\\* Choosing a good cleanser, brightening serum, and moisturiser
What products actually made a difference?
I’d really appreciate specific product recommendations and advice on which ingredients are worth investing in. Thank you!

For about 2 years now, I’ve been using Estée Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair Serum and Youth Power Crème moisturizer. I recently purchased Epii HPT6 Ultra Drop + Cream 5%, thinking it could maybe help my skin out a little bit more. But it doesn’t feel as hydrating as my Estée Lauder products, so I’m wondering if I should continue with it or use it on my neck instead.
Skin type: Oily/Combo (drier on my cheeks, very oily on my T zone)
Current morning routine: Cleanser, Advanced Night Repair Serum, Youth Power Creme, sunscreen.
Night routine: Cleanser, HPT6 Ultra Drop, Epii HPR Pro Shot (every 3 days), HPT6 Ultra Cream
Would love some suggestions or correction if I’m doing something wrong. I’m ok with giving up on the product too. TIA!

I know there are so many threads already about skincare clinics in Seoul, but I just literally need a rec on a clinic that has skin analysis and a 1:1 consultation with an MD who speaks English or has an interpreter and somewhere that’s not insanely expensive. They all seem to have about the same treatments anyway. Close to central ish Seoul but doesn’t really matter myeongdong/gangnam/sinsa/etc wherever. TIA!

Are there any Korean facial oils you like to use as a last step in your routine ?
I was thinking of trying a facial oil as a last step for winter since I have in the past and my skin loved it! (The one I use to use is now discontinued 🥴)
Skincare type: Oily in the summer, combo and dehydrated in the winter, acne prone

Skin is mostly combo in the tzone, leaning to the drier side due to climate. I’m wanting to reduce wrinkles (forehead and crows feet) while tightening things up/preventing more wrinkles. I refuse to do Botox/fillers or cometic surgery. Ongoing battle with dark circles. Looking for any tips on what to replace these products with for KBeauty ones. Laniege seems to be a good brand my skin likes. Their ligloss is *chef’s kiss* fantastic. I’m a bit overwhelmed with choice atm so any insight, advice, direction is much appreciated.
I do have a food allergy that makes me have itchy, redness around my mouth and breakouts all over when consumed.
I can post pics of my skin if it’s helpful.
Here’s my routine:
AM

Peach and lily toner
Laneige Perfect Renew 3x Signature Serum Advanced (1.5mL)

My current issues are:
oily
acne
redness around chin, nose and bit of my cheeks
pores
blackheads
hyperpigmentation around my mouth
acne scars
my current skincare contains boj aqua sunscreen for oily skin
ordinary niacinamide (repurchased this multiple times but now it doesn’t seem like helping me anymore with pores)
cerave oily skin cleanser (it’s stripes out and makes my skin dry)
l’oréal glycolic acid serum
innisfree green tea ceramide milky toner (i like this but im not sure what it does or improves my skin)
dr althea cream skin relief mist (i don’t know if this is helping me with anything at all)
formularx hydra veil moisturizer (probably my fav moisturizer rn)
i want a routine that doesn’t have more than two actives serum wise, a nice milky toner, a clay mask and face wash.

I caved and bought the VitaliQ Silk Peptide Serum (the box says “Deep Collagen Silk Peptide Intensive Ampoule”), and it was MAGIC. My skin was so hydrated and glowy that random people were commenting on my skin.
A few weeks in, I started getting cystic breakouts. I checked the box, and niacinamide is the sixth ingredient, which was not listed on the website! I’ve been sensitive to niacinamide before, so I’m suspicious, although I can’t prove that’s the culprit.
After two days without the serum, my breakouts have started to calm down, but my skin feels SO dehydrated and looks dull again. I recently added a Centella poreless serum, which seems calming but isn’t giving me the same hydration/plumping.
For context, these are the products I use:
PanOxyl benzoyl peroxide cleanser like 1x per week PM
Garnier Water Rose Micellar Cleansing Water AM/PM
e.l.f. Save Your e.l.f. Hypochlorous Mist AM
Cocokind Ceramide Barrier Serum AM/PM
The Ordinary Multi-Peptide + Copper Peptides 1% AM/PM
The Ordinary Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% AM
Centella poreless serum AM/PM
CeraVe Moisturizing Cream AM/PM
Based Supplies Tallow & Honey Balm AM/PM which my skin loves
Tret 2-3x per week PM
Castor oil 1-2 nights a week
DRMTLGY tinted sunscreen SPF 45 AM
Has anyone found a niacinamide-free serum that gives similar intense hydration and that glowy, glass-skin finish? I’d especially love recommendations from anyone who has tried VitaliQ or also reacts to niacinamide. I’m so sad to give this one up. 😭

What products do you think i should keep and should replace? I’m an oily acne sensitive skin, i want to lessen the oiliness of my skin. Though im not sure which one should I use as there are a lot of suggestions.
Recently, a small milia below my eye just came out of nowhere and im suspecting that it might be because of my current skincare but I have no idea which one is it.

I have really dry lips even though I drink a ton of water throughout the day. It's especially bad when I wake up in the morning and my lips have tons of skin peeling off. I'm looking for a lip balm that I can apply overnight before I go to bed, and I came across this one from Ongredients but couldn't find many reviews of it. Has anyone here tried it, and if so, did it work for you? Is Ongredients a trustworthy brand in general?
Ingredients:
Petrolatum, Polyisobutene, Microcrystalline Wax, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Water/Eau/Aqua, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Lecithin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butylene Glycol, Ceramide NP, Centella Asiatica Extract, Hyaluronic Acid, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8, Hexapeptide-9, Nonapeptide-1, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5

first of all, i have acne-prone skin. my skin used to be so oily when i was young but now its only oily on my t area and a bit dry so i guess it's combination type now. i hate using oily products. i like a product when its lightweight or absorbs quickly into my skin. i have been using torriden hyaluronic acid serum and laneige milky toner as a moisturizer. laneige was doing really good but i noticed my whiteheads might be increased or even if they did not they are still there. idk if it is because of laneige, i made a research before buying it and it had no pore-clogging ingredient. i also use banila co clean it zero cleansing balm (green), i have been using this for years. i highly doubt this is the reason for my clogged pores. so, i recently bought dokdo cleansing oil to replace clean it zero. haven't tried yet. as a cleanser, i was using dokdo and i like it but i also recently bought the inkey list salicylic cleanser. and for spf, i use torriden dive in watery sun serum but i was thinking of switching to birch juice.
i was wondering if we have the same skin type, can you share your routine with me? i really need to know what i do wrong or what i need to add to my routine.

I need help if anyone has any answers but I over exfoliated my skin and damaged my skin barrier in 2024 and have been recovering since. My skin barrier is pretty much healed but before I damaged my skin, my skin used to have a natural supported tightness to it and didn’t fold when I smiled, but now it’s noticeably more loose/stretchy and whenever I have any slight expression my skin moves along with my expression. Idk if it’s collagen or water content I need, pls help.
I was wondering if there is anyway I can get that natural skin elasticity or tightness back.

Just wanted to share my Sunday Night skincare routine which focuses on hydration and barrier repair (kinda). My skin: acne prone, oily, sensitive skin.
Sometimes depending on how my skin feels, I would use the Rejuran Turnover Ampoule instead of my sheet masks, which I actually use 3x a week (during my tretinoin nights). You just have to pay attention to your skin because sometimes the combination of Ilso and Madeca peeling gel can be too irritating. But I just wanted to share my Sunday night routine with my community.
