Nah man you are at the sweet spot. Tall enough to be considered tall. But less of an issue with fitting in cars and stuff. I legitimately had to try so many different cars before I finally found and bought one I could sit in without having to hold my head weird to keep from hitting the roof.

Look, I'm not some kind of super-schlong hero. I put my pants, custom-tailored to accommodate my gargantuan genitalia, on one leg at a time just like everyone else. I'm just a simple man trying to get the word out about the twelve pounds of Grade-A fuckmeat swinging between my legs. Beyond that, all I ask for is for everyone to respect my big-dick privacy, as well as the privacy of my poor, bow-legged wife.

Being pedantic "nu male" was a 4chan term for bearded millennial left wing men, this is just a twink
Edit: also unrelatedly it's interesting to me that we've moved from "ugh these guys are virtue signalling instead of doing real work to help feminism" to "the best thing a guy can do is call out other guys when they're being sexist". I like the new attitude. It's less dismissive
10
u/TractorSmacker 6d ago edited 6d ago
i was using the term “nu male” specifically because it was of the era and i think it’s funny that it’s practically archaic.
it wasn’t just a term for millennials, though, it was more derogatory, referring to men who they believed were assimilating feminism, and taking on what they saw as “feminine qualities” (such as fashion and personal hygiene lol) to get women, and 4chan perceived these men as rejecting tradition and embracing modernity to be more attractive to women. it was a reactionary impulse to seeing a culture of women stand up for themselves and stop tolerating misogynistic men as partners, e.g., the people that used the term “nu male” unironically, who saw themselves as robbed of their right to a woman’s body and viewed millennial men as an affront to them specifically. usage of the term pretty much dropped off around the time the whole incel thing blew up.
but i agree, i’m glad to see we’ve memed these particular guys out of existence and moved to more direct intervention.

as a 257'5" man I really hate period cramps, If I could just be like superman and destroy them with my eye laser beam (eyes are blue btw) I would do it in a heartbeat. I read feminist books made by women only btw. and I cook in a very suggestive way like those weird videos were men are like fingering the chicken and stuff btw.

They're not performative memes, they're memes that exhibit a self conscious mockery of perfomative and disingenuous male feminism
16
u/Efficient_Club1326 6d ago
The memes are performative, that's the entire point, the difference is it's self aware

I have mixed feelings about them, I think they’re funny but it also kind of feels like it’s satirizing women’s issues. Not when I do it though because I’m actually a feminist
72
u/21839 6d ago
Not really, they’re making fun of people who pretend to care about it to get attention.

We were actually joking about this with a couple of friends some days ago and we tried to came up with the most performative male sentence ever. A friend said "I couldn't sleep because I couldn't stop thinking about the wage gap between men and women" and it fried me

u/FartyPoopFart69 6d ago
I misread this as the dude nicknaming his girl "period cramps" and is threatening to give her a knuckle sandwich.
