Moving into a new place soon and need a bed frame. Not sure if I should just get a cheap metal one or spend a few hundred on solid wood.

I keep seeing people say cheap frames start squeaking after a while, but is that actually common or just people buying really crappy ones?

Also, how much does it matter if the frame is easy to take apart? I might move again in a couple years, so I don't wanna buy something that's a pain to deal with. Been looking at options like the softa mikor, but I'm not sure if spending more is actually worth it.

For those who've had the same bed frame for 3–5 years, what did you get, how much did it cost, and would you buy it again?

My room is just like this with a few changes. Near the wardrobe is like a small shelf and next to shelf is a wall socket.the Wall behind the bed is a window area. The space between the wardrobe and bed is already enough putting even a lamp or a shelf would be cramp already. Beside the table setup is where i have a big shelf(and where my laundry basket is at ). I put my game consoles and collectibles on it. Up the table is a floating shelf 3. And also beside the table is another wall socket where there is also my ac ontop so really little room to insert cables at. I feel like the room is not that well fixed. I hope someone can help

My apartment feels sterile, and doesn’t have any distinguishing furniture or features. The furniture in the bedroom is awful, and the living room is a weird shape. My only thing I am in love with is the coffee table.

I'm 26 and this is my studio in Chicago ($1250 a month). It's my third apartment, but also the smallest I've had. I like it though it's nice. The only thing bothering me is the walls have this trim on them that makes it more annoying than usual to put things on them. That empty shelf on the wall is going to have one of those long draping vine plants. It's difficult finding art I like because a ton of stuff online is AI these days
