JFC people stop using streaming services if you're just going to complain about being milked. This is like the TCG people who just HAVE to buy the next Pokemon expansion. Move on and find a more sustainable form of entertainment. May I suggest the library where about half of the source material for movies and shows comes from. We don't have to be a heteronomous species addicted to screens. Creature comforts are fine and everything but learn to have some control and know how to pivot when you start to get priced out.
