Just got my bridge pierced - How's it sitting?

Impulsive decision, I know. I've been going on a piercing spree lately and didn't consider all details beforehand before jumping in with this bridge. Is the positioning looking right? I didn't go to my usual piercer too—they live further away and, as i said, this was an impulse choice. Piercer I chose seemed new-ish with one bad review on Google that I didn't see until after. I'm not upset or anything, i treat my face like a sponge so I can see myself either reworking it later or exploring other options. Thank you!

Hi guys, My friend got this piercing about a month ago on September 5th. The first couple of weeks everything was fine and the healing went smoothly, but ever since the start of this month, its been getting crusty and gunky which she looked up and it seemed normal, but now I dont think whats happening is normal😭.
I promise she has jewelry in both holes, but the one on the top has literally been eaten up by the skin around it which I don’t think is normal! The jewelry that she was pierced with was simple studs and butterfly backs and she literally cannot get the butterfly backs off. Is this rejecting or is this what normal healing looks like…? Also she just uses normal saline solution to clean it and obviously she cleans it when it gets crusty.

Hey guys! I’ve had my tongue pierced for a year and 10 months (venom piercings). I have to have surgery tomorrow morning and they will have to be removed. It should take less than 2 hours. What are the odds the homes will close? They are fully healed and i rarely take them out. I’d be so upset if the holes closed up. Any advice would help. There’s no way I can keep them in during, I asked a few times. TIA

any thoughts on this? is this a bit too tight? I had this like 2 days ago and got it upsized yesterday. Also, give me some tips on healing this bad boi

I got this eyebrow piercing early July and in late September this bump started showing up. The jewelry is curved barbell but I was never told what material it’s made from. I was also not told if it was internally or externally threaded. I haven’t downsized and I’ve been using anti bacterial soap with saline spray. I usually sleep on my back and wash my face and piercing twice a day.

Got my nostril done! Yipeee. Now have five (ears, nostril, septum, navel)

Hey y’all sorry for subjecting everyone to another post looking for some advice on a grouchy daith piercing. Specifically looking for opinions on whether it might be too shallow or not?

Asking because I went to my piercer today to downsize an unrelated piercing, and when she looked at my daith, she mentioned that it may have migrated to be too shallow, but that she’s having a hard time telling because of the bump. She followed it up by saying if the bump doesn’t go away in 3 months we may have to re-pierce it. At the end of the day, I trust her, opinion, but I’m just really anxious because I really don’t wanna have to go through getting this thing re-pierced, but I also love it and want to keep it.

Here’s the lowdown on the piercing’s info:
• First picture is the day of piercing (1/1/2026)
• Second picture is the worst the bump looked (5/15/2026)
• Third picture is the most recent picture of the bump from today (10/17/2026)
• I’ve had the same captive bead ring in the whole time, so no changes and no downsizing
• The captive ring is implant grade titanium from LeRoi which I bought in the piercing studio with my piercer
• I’ve been cleaning between one and twice a day with either water running over it in the shower or spraying it with a saline spray that I bought at the piercing shop

My piercer did suggest my skin looked a little dry and recommended trying to clean it with just water instead of saline spray for the next three months to see if that helps it. I’m open to any other suggestions in addition to input on whether it looks too shallow or not.

i had my MRI today which was fun. i got in a car accident and hurt my foot and hopefully this is the last step to finding out what is actually wrong. i had to get retainers in my piercings i got about a month ago, i thought it was cool how my ears looked without them

I got a helix and rook done at the same time about a week ago. It’s been fine, no real issues, but I went out for my birthday last night. I got pretty lit, and went to bed. Turns out, I slept on my newly pierced ear, and I toss and turn so I woke up at least three times on that side. I woke up to it angry as sin. I’ve been cleaning it with saline using packets that came with my neti pot and filtered water, once or twice a day. I put a cold compress on it, and have been taking ibuprofen. The bar was plenty long enough before, but the swelling has gotten pretty severe. It hasn’t gotten any worse, but it also hasn’t gotten better over the last 8 hours or so. I’ve been trying to LITHA, but I’m kind of at a loss.

Do I go to a piercer in the morning? A doctor?

Jewelry is a flat back with a screw on ball on the front. I think it’s a labret?

hello :) hope someone could help me out. ive had this eyebrow piercing for about 6 months now (got it done end of April). jewelry shape is a barbell and the material is titanium. i have not yet downsized it.

When i got it pierced the first maybe 3 months were painless, i had no bruising or irritation whatsoever. i was spraying it twice a day with sprays that my piercer gave me, and cleaned it with a cotton bud. but one day i kinda snugged at it while drying my hair, and also my hairdresser accidentally got a hold of it with his brush.. so im guessing these two events irritated it. ive been spraying it with a new spray i got since i ran out of the initial ones, and holding warm compressions on it. does anyone have any other suggestions i could try? or is it just rejecting at this point..

Okay so I have 9 piercings in total,pairs of 1st and 2nd lobes, Helix and Tragus on both ears too. The one extra is Flat Helix on my right one.
Now i need suggestions for my left ear, i really like conch and rook, but if yall have any other cute suggestions plsss tell.
And pls do tell its pain level and healing times too, the existing all are healed completely.

Hello!! I went to a piercer 2 days ago to get my rook re-pierced after not having jewelry in it for about 10 years. Well, she took a look at it and told me that she thinks it’s still open, so she put a taper in and it went all the way through without much pain/discomfort. Then, she went to insert the much thicker titanium barbell, and it was veryyy uncomfortable and painful. Since then, the piercing site has sat at a constant 4/10 pain level. I was just woken up 2 hours ago by pretty intense pain, I’d say 6/10 level and haven’t been able to get back to sleep due to it… How does it look to you guys? I can’t shake the feeling that something is not right because I don’t think it should be hurting this badly. Does anyone have a similar experience with having extreme pain when stretching an almost closed up rook piercing channel? I’ve been laying here in pain wondering if I need to go to urgent care tomorrow to check for an infection lol…

I want to get a Surface or Dermal piercing below my left eye area / upper cheek the typical spot basically I would say

Anyways I’m wondering which is “safer” or “better” if that makes sense? I wouldn’t mind having 1 or 2 studs they both look nice to me
But I’ve heard some bad things about Dermals, does anyone know if they hurt more? Which would heal easier as well, or are they about the same? Thanks for any help I appreciate y’all :)
