I’m like this and recently found out I have OCD, I’ve also personally had the worst things and best things in my life happen side by side twice now so I understand what she’s saying entirely.

The amount of times I was late for work because I’d drive back home to check the door was locked (it was literally always locked)

When I was little my OCD brain would wait until I was alone in the dark and say “hey do you know what we haven’t thought about yet today? Ghosts”
