25, long-term investor. Weekly DCA: VOO $150, AVUV $100, QQQM $100. Also a $400 basket: AMZN, ANET, GEV, GOOGL, LLY, META, MSFT, NU, NVDA, TSM ($40 each).
Is it good?

Not everyone will have access to these funds/products, but if you can, they are worth a look. This mix is what I’ve been running for a few years. Working so far. Though it’s yet to be really tested. Its weakness is a liquidity shock. To protect against that, just hold higher weighting cash.

After reading a few books, especially Common Sense Investing and Psychology of Money and watching a lot of youtube videos, i finally decided VTI and VXUS as my core portfolio for the long term. I only started investing earlier this year.
I do understand that VTI is 85% VOO (Approximately) and both have performed almost similarly within a percentage of each other in the last decade or so.
I have very Little VOO and most of what i have is VTI. Over the last few months it has been very clear that only the top 10-15 companies in the S&P 500 are basically keeping the indices moving. The mid and low cap companies have taken a hit really bad. Over the past few months VOO has been doing okay but VTI has pretty much stayed the same or even fell down by a bit. I do believe this is an indication that how much the other companies that are outside the S&P 500 are taking a hit.
By the looks of it, it appears that the tech companies and the other ones in S&P 500 are just rotating money in the tech/chips sector and a lot of small businesses and mid range companies are taking a hit.
What would be a better strategy.....VOO or VTI.
I know most advice says automate and forget, but since I am a beginner, I want to know what do do

Hi everyone, I’m new to investing in the USA. I’m a 32-year-old male. For the past three months, I’ve been hearing a lot about a stock market crash, a housing market crash, and overall concerns about the economy, so I want to be prepared in case something happens. Should I be worried about investing $26,000 more into my portfolio through a DCA strategy by putting in $650 weekly or $1000 weekly after maxing out my Roth IRA?
Some friends have told me keeping 60% in stocks, 30% international, 15% GLD, and 5% BND, saying there’s nothing to worry about. Others suggest reducing stocks to 40%, increasing BND to 30%, and eliminating GLD or just keeping gold in my Roth.
My current portfolio: Roth IRA: $10K — VTI 41%, VXUS 19.37%, AVUV 15.97%, GLD 8.41% / Individual: VTI $4,900, VXUS $3,140, GLD $707, BND $396. + $31,407 in SPAXX
What would be the ideal strategy for my Roth IRA and individual accounts for 2027?
