Call me crazy for how this reads but...

Using Time Warp on another person's turn (thanks to Kai'Sa) reads like it would do absolutely nothing. The player is already taking a turn after this one.

Like I'm sure the intended interaction is that the user gets a bonus turn/extra turn, but the card text doesn't read that way at first glance.

I've tried looking up rulings regarding turn order/sequence but I've ran into absolutely nothing. Likely a case of poor wording in card (or maybe it is intended to only work if you cast it on your own turn...)

Managed to go 4-0 and win a Pre-Rift with this deck. Any thoughts? It was probably bad to play 35 cards instead of 25, and most likely didn't get enough 2,3 drops.

2/4 games went to overtime. All games were really close, but managed to clutch it out in the late game. Red Mordekaiser was the MVP, and the pig top deck saved me 2 times

According to new rules and erratas what happens if I copy a Neeko.

So board state - i played a Neeko, gaining Leblanc Deciever.

If I was to conquer with a Neeko, then activate Leblancs Legend to copy the Neeko. When the temporary version comes in. What occurs?

Do it get another Legend from the current 3 Legend pool. Or does it's 3 legends do not exist?

Currently ive been thinking of the combo where you play Hall of Legends. Play a Neeko - Conquer with Neeko, copy neeko - activate Legend and Hall. Then conquer another battlefield. With temp neeko (using whatever methods) gaining a Vii Legend or MF legend..

All only works if - first part occurs as sound.

i got it on one of my pre rift packs and i was wondering if i should sell right now or wait for it.

a friend of mine said this riven will be very good on the competitive, and because of that it will probably will raise its price eventually.

Brand new player chiming in, and so far it's been awesome. I got Morde at my pre-rift event and went 1-2 with what I made. I got help from the local players to make the deck, but now I am planning to expand out. It looks like the cards that really make his legend shine are like $50+ a pop online and that's a bit steep for what I am looking to spend. Anyone have any deck ideas I can riff off of? Also where do you folks pick up power cards in bulk?

Is it just me or we got back Sneaky Deckhand turn 1 with Hunter's Circle and nobody is talking about it. Hunter's Circle already feels like a must for the deck, why is nobody using this combo?

I have been looking for a second main deck to play during either Nexus Nights and/or Skrimishes at my LGS. Before the Raidiance Prerelease, I came up with an idea: whoever I had gotten as my Legend in my kit, I would have them as my backup deck. My Legend was Evelynn.

My question is about her Legend ability;

Once each turn, when you play a card from face down, draw 1. Then, if it's not your turn, discard 1.

I am so confused. I know it is stupid, but can someone explain it to me? The way I played it during the event, I would play a hidden card and draw one. When I passed my turn, I then discarded one card from my hand. I have seen videos contradicting this.

I look forward to any help. I do enjoy playing her, and I want to make sure I am not playing wrong.

I'm not talking about how competitive it is im sure its very high level i hope to get to by time it comes around i plan to go to RCPhilly, but scrolling this reddit it seems pretty hard to get tickets? even if you won a simple summoners skirmish. The event is in 4 months and id like to start planning but it just seems like a gamble to get a ticket with the website known to crash and other stuff ive read.

So this is more a post about how difficult will it be to get a ticket to that event.

I am newish to the game started last set and went to my first prerift this week with a buddy. We sat next to this guy who cracked all his packs quickly, laid all his cards out to take a photo. I look over and he uploaded this photo to an ai. I ask him what he’s doing and he tells me he’s asking “Claude” what to build with his cards.

Well game time comes and my buddy faces him first round and gets absolutely smoked. To be fair my friend has only played a bit longer than me so probably isn’t as good as this guy and the others at the shop.

My buddy tells me apparently this guy went 3-0 at the prerift.
Is using ai allowed or was this guy going against the rules

Some of the cards I didn’t have a chance to play but notably the best performers were Portable Portal, Armored Tusker, Scorched Earth, War Scout and the Mordekaiser himself

What do you guys think on Master Yi's performance in Radiance set? Since the emerging of K'Sante and few other Legends like Riven, will Master Yi still stay relevant?

PS Im playing PG Yi and should I keep on playing this deck?

I’m thinking about getting into Riftbound and was wondering if it’s worth waiting for the meta to stabilize before committing to a Legend, or if I should just pick one that looks fun and start learning the game.

The Legends that have caught my eye so far are:

• Master Yi (Wuju Blade)
• Nasus
• Azir
• Viktor

For some background, most of my experience with card games comes from Hearthstone, where I enjoyed decks like ZooLock, Egg Warrior, and other tempo-oriented decks. I’ve also played Yu-Gi-Oh!

I generally enjoy proactive game plans, applying pressure, and decks with interesting synergies rather than just reacting to what my opponent is doing.

For those of you who have played these Legends, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

• Which of these Legends do you think would fit my playstyle best?
• Are there any other Legends I should look into based on my background?
• Is it worth waiting for the meta to settle before investing in a deck, or is it better to pick a Legend now and learn the game?

I’m not necessarily looking to play the absolute strongest deck — I’d rather find something that fits my playstyle and that I’ll enjoy sticking with.

They’re not perfect but I think they work pretty well!

This isn’t rage bait or anything I just want to hear everyone’s opinion on this card and if there’s any counterplay to it. Zhonyas feels way too good for what it does. I honestly don’t know the counterplay once it’s hidden. I can’t play any gear removal and if I try to invest a lot to kill a unit (mainly astral heron) with a hidden Zhonyas it doesn’t matter at all and they run me over next turn because invested so much on my turn.

Yesterday I played my second prerift of the set and went 4-0.

MVPs of the list:

-Wrath of the Freljord. It enters ready as a 7might attacker, and 10 on defense is really strong in this format.

-The action-speed stun + buff. It's insane when nobody has counterspells. Really strong on defense: it buys you time with small units while you wait for your bigger drops.

-Jarvan, Royal heir as chosen champion. I think I always used his ability effect and attack with another 3 or higher might unit.

The deck is really simple: take every point you can while you wait for the big pig to swing in ready, or set up a Jarvan attack. I would intentionally not play cards with power cost to get to 9runes, especially if wrath of the freljord was already In my hand. In this format people hold a lot with few combat tricks, so big numbers win easily. In at least 2 games, on my last turn I had 17 might that my opponent had to beat or loose the game.

At my first prerift I played a very similar deck: 2 Wrath of the Freljord, 1 Jarvan. But I had close to 0 combat tricks, 0 hold'em, 0 stuns. My only way to get extra might was the yellow quickdraw shield that gives tank +1might, and I still went 3-1. These big units carry.

So I move in with Graves. Temmo uses switcheroo to switch might from 4 to 2. I was told that my attack trigger no longer is in play afterwards. Is this true? I only asked because I not sure how switcheroo changes the card effect when it states it changes might only.

With this round of changes, I tried to make it easier to use on mobile too.

Search, drop, and drag cards, counters, text, and zones to draw board states. Mostly worked on the tool tray and ui in this version.

The intention is for it to be used when discussing board states or scenarios with an audience or with friends. I got the idea when a streamer was describing a scenario they had with paint.

Hello, I am a very new player of Riftbound. I played few games on TCG Arena and watched some videos about it.

Now, I just registered for a pre rift event tomorrow. This would be my first IRL event. I'm worried I have no accessories to play with (playmat, sleeves, dice, etc...). Would that be an issue ?

Hey everyone, going to pick up proving grounds and play with 3 friends to enter the hobby. Had a few questions about your experience (I currently play Star Wars Unlimited).

1. How has your experience been acquiring product, and what process is most efficient for deck building? Do you buy boxes? Singles? (do you buy on tcgplayer?) Can you find boxes at LGS' reliably? Target?

2. How have your experiences with the community been? Were they willing to teach/welcome new players? Is it more competitive, and you should be prepared for such?

3. Meta wise, how diverse are the decklists? In my current game, there are 3 decks that are effectively rock-paper-scissors, and other decks are heavily underrepresented.

I’ve been on the fence about trying Riftbound. was curious on release but was immediately turned off by lack of product availability, insane deck prices, etc. Felt like Bandai all over again. Anyways now it seems stuff is much more readily available and the singles prices have become more reasonable.

I have a few questions that hopefully yall can answer for me.

1.) Is nexus nights just like a regular locals in other games? can it be expected to show up as a new player and learn to play? or is the expectation that I have my own deck and know how to pilot it already?

2.) is there any starter product that’s actually good? I’m no stranger to starter products in most tcgs being something that is meant to teach you how to play but doesn’t actually resemble anything close to a legit starting point for upgrading as a deck. what are riftbounds options like? or is it just a buy singles game?

3.) any recommended champions for a new player? or is the gap in skill floor relatively close to each other and I should just pick whoever I like?

4.) also any general tips or insights you would give a potential new player. my background is in pokemon but have played a lot of Bandai games and dabbled in mtg before as well. so any advice you can give drawing any parallels to things in those games is appreciate!
