Elon has never invented anything. He invests in other people's companies.

I don’t recall him saying he built this car all by himself? But the fact of the matter still stands that this car would not exist right now if Elon left Tesla 20 years ago.

Neither have you. If it's so easy how is he the richest person alive?

I didn’t come from money. Also keep in mind for every Elon musk there’s hundreds of other attempted entrepreneurs who failed not because they were “dumber” than musk but because he got lucky with his investments and they did not. A sound investment can easily backfire from things outside your control. Musk isn’t a genius he was just lucky in many cases and eventually had enough money to eat any possible losses.

The fact that he's the CEO of multiple industry leading companies says otherwise.

Edit: I'm not saying he's an inventor. Im saying he's more than an investor.

He’s wealthy but he has zero engineering or technical skills of his own. The guy is a finance bro in a mid life crisis.

Wait till you learn what CEOs actually do on a day to day

•

Make decisions based on information provided to them by the actual engineers?

We know Elon doesn’t do that considering the Cyber truck exists. People treat Elon like a genius but his companies are almost entirely reliant on government contracts to survive.

He’s the face not the brains.

10s of thousands of other Reddit low lifes seem to agree with you. He, on the other hand, is the richest man in the world. I think he's doing something right.

No it doesn’t, that actually further bolsters their argument

I responded incorrectly. Im not insinuating that he's an inventor. He isn't just an investor like the commenter said, he's the CEO of multiple very successful companies. You don't need to be an inventor or even an engineer to be a CEO. He creates teams that build his vision. People wanna hate on that but he's the richest man in the world for a reason...

If CEO was so much work and so important then he wouldn’t have time to be one of multiple companies.

No, it doesn't.

No it doesnt. Being a CEO does not mean you invented anything that company does.

Musk isnt even an engineer, its unclear if he even has a degree. He claims to have a BS in physics, but his alma mater didnt even offer that degree when he claims to have been there.

Musk is a good marketer, and good at sourcing investments. He is also an awful human being. These are well established facts. There is however NO evidence that he is skilled in engineering. His public image in that regard is a scam.
