Elon has never invented anything. He invests in other people's companies.

The fact that he's the CEO of multiple industry leading companies says otherwise.

Edit: I'm not saying he's an inventor. Im saying he's more than an investor.

He’s wealthy but he has zero engineering or technical skills of his own. The guy is a finance bro in a mid life crisis.

Wait till you learn what CEOs actually do on a day to day

Make decisions based on information provided to them by the actual engineers?

We know Elon doesn’t do that considering the Cyber truck exists. People treat Elon like a genius but his companies are almost entirely reliant on government contracts to survive.

He’s the face not the brains.

10s of thousands of other Reddit low lifes seem to agree with you. He, on the other hand, is the richest man in the world. I think he's doing something right.

He’s also a drug addict and a massive piece of garbage.

He has kids he avoids paying child support to and a kid whom he claims is dead to him simply because said kid came out as Trans.

His DOGE cuts have directly lead to the deaths of thousands of people who were reliant on food aid in developing countries in Africa. He also had Ebola monitoring cut which led to an outbreak that has killed thousands. He also cut spending on food monitoring leading to thousands of late food recalls and an outbreak of explosive diarrhea.

Turns out larping as a genius doesn’t actually make you a genius. He wouldn’t be the richest man in the world if the U.S. government didn’t subsidize his company for a decade. In fact if he lost all of his government subsidies he would likely lose most of his wealth since it mostly exists in stock assets.

No it doesn’t, that actually further bolsters their argument

I responded incorrectly. Im not insinuating that he's an inventor. He isn't just an investor like the commenter said, he's the CEO of multiple very successful companies. You don't need to be an inventor or even an engineer to be a CEO. He creates teams that build his vision. People wanna hate on that but he's the richest man in the world for a reason...

If CEO was so much work and so important then he wouldn’t have time to be one of multiple companies.

No, it doesn't.

No it doesnt. Being a CEO does not mean you invented anything that company does.

Musk isnt even an engineer, its unclear if he even has a degree. He claims to have a BS in physics, but his alma mater didnt even offer that degree when he claims to have been there.

Musk is a good marketer, and good at sourcing investments. He is also an awful human being. These are well established facts. There is however NO evidence that he is skilled in engineering. His public image in that regard is a scam.
