Seeing so much casual male sociopathy on a daily basis

The amount of men I see who get defensive over other men’s demonic behavior like rape and murder and attempt to publicly humiliate the victim and bully her for speaking out about the abuse in hopes to beat her into silence and shame is insane. And it’s become so common that we’re becoming exacted and desensitized and jaded and it’s like no one even wants to knowledge the evil anymore. Cause to be aware all the time is becoming excruciating.

Arguing with grown men as a teen girl about our rights

I am not old enough to be a mother but if I am raped then I still must have a baby by my dads logic. They only care about babies when they are unborn

Can I PLEASE have a feminine safe space on Reddit ?

I’m so tired of posting something and having random men in my DMs or comments, and some of them are genuinely weird. I just want a space where I can talk to other women, share my thoughts and have normal conversations without wondering if someone’s approaching me with ulterior motives. WHERE ARE THE GIRLS AT ??? I need some feminine energy on this app because I’m getting tired.

Sex feels like a chore

I (24) have been with my boyfriend (28) for 4 years. I love him, but sex has never been great. It always feels like something we have to do or something I have to do for him. I have pelvic floor dysfunction and vaginismus, so intercourse is already painful for me. Once he’s in, I just have to stay in that position and I just end up zoning out. It’s honestly boring for me and the second we change positions, it’s back to pain and having to zone out again until it’s better.

I finally told him tonight that I need more foreplay and that internal stimulation does nothing for me. I told him what I would like and he told me it just feels like a waste of time. I asked him if his ideal sex scenario would be him getting horny, kissing a little, vaginal intercourse, he climaxes, then we’re done; and he couldn’t answer. I genuinely don’t know how to approach this conversation and need support/advice

EDIT: I did speak to him and have an open and honest conversation. I said I was scared of disappointing him. I realized I never actually communicated what I needed. I told him what exactly I need for foreplay. He said he didn’t exactly need that but if I need it, we will do it. We’re going to get some toys. I give him examples of the language I need too. I don’t think it’s going to be perfect starting off, but now we have a conversation going about it.

why men are saying that wearing a sports bra and shorts to the gym is inappropriate for women? /shane gillis snl

I saw that clip and I think many of you saw that too of shane gillis on snl saying that “women dress like wh***s at the gym”

How is it inappropriate or sexual to wear a sports bra and shorts? Men wear sleevless tshirts and shorts at the gym too.

You sweat and the air is hot at the gym, why should women wear a tshirt or a longer trousers, when sports bra and shorts are completely normal and cover inappropriate parts?

Is it dressing like a “wh**e “ when you wear a bikini at the beach? No.

Then why wearing bigger pieces than a bikini at a hot space where you sweat is dressing like a “wh**e “

I genuinely don’t get it

Does any one else get “cry horny” on dates?

Im 26F and just went on the first great first date I have in a long time. When I’d think about trying to initiate holding his hand, or kissing him, I’d get this feeling of excitement and then my stomach would feel hot, I’d get chills and I’d get teary just want to be held and cry. I’ve felt this before but it’s been a long time.
Can anyone else relate?
It sucks because I’m sure the other person can sense that I’m in my head and that makes them uneasy…. but I feel that if I say how I’m really feeling I will burst into tears and that’s not really appropriate for a first date. I think it’s a trauma response to a fear of intimacy and not alarm signs. He was so lovely and kind, and we both expressed that we enjoyed spending time together.

As the last woman on Earth, most men would do terrible things to her. Is this the truth?

This question has been posted in different ways throughout the years, but the answer is always the same.......Yes, the last woman on a planet of men will be treated horribly, a fate worse than death.

Even most men agree in recent pollings/surveys.

Is this really true?

Men will become monsters when they don't have enough women?

Dating insecurities

I recently started talking to a guy, and he’s amazing. We get along really well, and we’ve been talking for about a month and a half. Since we live in different cities, we haven’t had the chance to meet face-to-face yet.
This is the first time I’ve come across a guy who’s such a green flag. He checks so many boxes for what I want in a person, especially after having been in several toxic relationships in the past. I’m not used to something like this, and I really hope I don’t end up sabotaging it. (I’m an anxious girly.)
But we seem to get along really well, almost like good friends.
There’s just one little issue. My teeth aren’t in the best shape aesthetically. I’ve had some health issues that prevented me from going to the dentist over the past year, and I’m scared that once he sees me in person, he won’t be attracted to me anymore. I mean, I take care of my oral hygiene every day, so it’s not like I have bad breath or anything.
How have you dealt with an insecurity like this during the early stages of dating?

bored of my boyfriend, is that normal?

for context: we have been dating for over a year and are in second year of university.

i am currently really stuck right now. i have never been one to get bored of relationships because i take time to make sure that i am with the right guy and not wasting my time on some dude, but with that being said, my bf is so boring. he is in engineering, has lot of hobbies and friends, he is super nice and overall a really great guy...but maybe just not a good bf? as i entered my second year of uni, i feel like i am being held down by my relationship (not in the way that i found other guys and wanna screw around, but because it just seems being single is so much more freeing). it also doesn't help that my bf is really boring and doesn't really make an effort or anything. we're both just super busy with our own stuff that i am starting to see no point in staying together.

idk, i really feel horrible for wanting to end things because he is boring. is this normal? or is this happening because im meeting a lot of people who single and i just want to feel included in that?

my bf isnt really funny, or exciting or playful....he is just kinda there...? he is just awkward and shy and i kinda find that annoying because he doesn't get to know my friends or the people in life because he is just BORING.

someone help :(

for all the women who have higher libido than their partner,

I (25F) have a boyfriend (25M) and I feel like I have higher libido than him. he is my first in everything like date, kiss, sex, and I’m not his. which is probably why I’m more into having sex than him who had more experiences with it.

and since I’m new to having sex, I look for it almost everyday but he doesn’t. I’m the happiest when I’m with him but I feel like being sexually frustrated would ruin it for me.

the longest we didn’t have sex was a week and then when we finally had sex, he came quick so I asked for more but he rejected me. then we made out and he got hard again but he still didn’t want to & just went to play games. I tried to let him know that it frustrates me but he said “yea I guess”.

for women who have higher libido than their partner, how do you deal with it? bcos I don’t think it’s a valid reason for me to end the relationship since I really love him & everything that he do for me. but I can’t be frustrated everytime and just do it for myself.

since I’m also new to it, he always do the work. I do initiate getting on top but he says he’ll just do it since I sometimes hurt his dick. you think that’s the issue? I’m just so frustrated right now

and ALSO he keeps on telling me stuff about his previous experiences how he did it in the mall, in the cinema, etc. And when I try to initiate something like “I want to do it too” he’ll be like “no” and “I’m not that horny teenager anymore”. but I want to experience those stuff too!!!

I dont feel like I will ever trust a man

I will just write a small vent post and I believe some of you will agree with me.

I am a conservative and religious women, therefore the past and behavior of the man I want to be with is important for me. If a man has ever been with a social worker or gone to a club just to get laid, its just a big no for me.

I am at my late twenties and men around me usually gets influenced by older men who likes to go to club. One of my male co-worker even told others how he had his shift, went to gym and laid with a woman, which is a quite disgusting thing to say when there is a woman in the same room. I didnt say anything at that time but I just felt cold towards my co-workers.

The sad part is some of men at my work are also religious but they are eager to go the parties/clubs. Even if the man I meet is religious there is no guarantee he has done the things I dont approve of.

I feel like I am late to find a partner and I dont think I can trust any man at this point. Maybe for some people this isn't something important but I just cant think the other way. I used to think "he should be virgin" a few years ago but now my thoughts are "I still want a virgin man but if he was with someone he trusted, its okay.".

The thought of the man I love being with someone just because of pure lust is sickening for me.

How do u even find the perfect bra?

• Upvotes

For context I'm 19F and I feel like we don't talk abt this in my community. How do u even calculate ur bra size.

Last time I checked this method and according to it you r supposed to check the difference between the length where ur band sits and the fullest part. Mine was 4 inches...and according to the instructions 1 inch difference is an A cup 4 is D cup.

Is this method correct?

[Content Warning: ] Pressured into sex by my BF

MAJOR TW ⚠️ Hi guys! I’ve been debating making this post as I don’t exactly know what to make of this situation. A few days ago me and my bf booked a hotel room as we planned to spend some time together privately. Prior to this, I told him I hated having penetrative sex because of trauma and the pain it causes me. Everything was going well until he wanted me to get on top, I was hesitant and said no. This caused him to call me weird as “we’ve done everything else that night” and that we should just do what he wants. After I said no, he refused to talk to me, watched TV, rolled over then went on his phone.

I then went in the bathroom and started crying because I was so afraid of upsetting him because I said no. When I came out, I asked him a few more times what happened and if he was mad, he refused to communicate every time I asked. The next morning he barely spoke to me until it was time to say goodbye, 30 minutes later he sent a breakup text that were along the lines of “I don’t think this is going to work. I’m just not feeling it, I wish you well”. Another thing to note is he kept touching me before this and asking for head until I gave in because I didn’t want him to get angry. He also got annoyed once I asked for him to wear protection as “It feels better without” I’m not sure what to make of this situation as I feel used and quite violated as a result of this. If anyone has advice or has had similar experiences I’d really appreciate if you could share them 💗 I just feel overwhelmed and have been crying because I felt pressured into doing that for him.

Doubt about how to help another girl via her friend.

So I tried to search if there was another post about this but unfortunately every search just showed how fucked up the world is.

So I was at the bus stop the other day and there was a group of younger people like 17-18 maybe. A young man got a phone call.

His part of the conversation was:

" Hello, where are we? In bed at home".... "What Table? I said we are at home in bed???"... "Can you hear me? What Table? What restaurant? We are not in any restaurant. We are at home".... (Now pissed off, confused says sarcastically) "Yeah Yeah, we are waiting for you when we get a table at the restaurant we will call you. Ohhh, listen there Bob talks to the host" .... (Still Sarcasticly) "Yeah yeah, exactly we'll call you when we sit down, Never". And Hangs up.

I immediately told him.

Hey, that was a girl on the other line right? Of course it was.

Well, Hear me out here. This girl she out and about right? Well, Maybe and I say Maybe she is in danger and trusts you enough to ask for your help and your dumb ass is clueless? How about we call her back? Let's assess the situation for a minute.

Of course calmer and kinder like I am talking to a little kid. Cause her safety is more important than me antagonizing this idiot. Also he is young and completely unaware I blame society not him and he has to learn somehow

This idiot Didn't understand me at all. I explained it 2 times till his friend caught on to what I was saying and he got scared and then we both explained it to him another 3 times till he finally got it.

But he ignored me completely, he said he knew who she was with and she was safe. I told him he should check in with her anyway and he ignored me. I kept trying but eventually my bus came and I had to leave cause it was the last one and I couldn't walk home.

But since then I can't stop thinking about what I could have done differently. What happened to this girl, is she okay? Did this boy (who clearly don't deserve the term young man at all) or the other one who deserves it, talked with her after I left? Did the boy get it? will he be better/safer the next time that a girl will trust him?

My Thoughts are:

  1. Maybe I could have acted quickly and before he hung up I could have asked to talk with her?

  2. Maybe I could have insisted he called her back just to make sure?

  3. Or Maybe scare him by telling him that I hope he is 1000% sure about that because he bets her safety on it? (I may actually have said that, now that I think about it).

What are your thoughts?

Desperately asking for anyone who's been pregnant before

6 1/2 weeks and I feel like such a marshmallow already lol

So I had no idea how much this would make me feel like I'm not in control of my own body anymore! It's an honor and I'm not complaining, I'm just so confused. I usually absolutely love all vegetables, fresh fruits, and I generally eat healthy. A. I was already struggling at my fitness because I had surgery in the fall. But I've already gained over 10 lb because the only food that tastes good and doesn't make me gag is pasta, bread, cheese, rice, and basically anything that's terrible were you. I try so hard to eat the vegetables that I used to before. I just feel so foreign in this new body and appetite. The nausea has not just been in the morning but more or less not non-stop throughout the day, and get to especially bad at night. But I finally ordered unisom and hopefully I can sleep through so that I don't eat as much junk food. Should I just dress the vegetables better? Any and every tip is appreciated. I'm probably going to move to like healthy soups and bread instead? Chicken is absolutely no-go !makes me sad! Eggs too! Hey

Do you get satisfied with every hook up?

I’m just so curious when people say hoe phase. With every person you hook up with are you getting satisfied? If so is it majorly through oral or sex? If not, then what is the purpose of being a hoe? Im just wondering, cause every time I have sex with my spouse I never get satisfied. So i’m curious during the hoe phase, if you end up getting pleased.

How did you know when you were ready to move in together?

I’m 10 weeks pregnant and my boyfriend of 1 year (been friends for 6 years) wants to move in with me.

This is my longest relationship I’ve ever had, and my first ever baby. But I’m so nervous about what if I hate having a man in my space all the time.

I share a 4 bedroom house with my mum who at the moment I need to live with because I have panic disorder and she is my safe person that helps me get out to places.
I know it’s not the best situation, but lots of people do multigenerational living these days.

is it okay to wear a sports bra and shorts to the gym or is that too inappropriate?

i honestly don’t know what to wear to the gym because i have only recently started going. i really hate the feeling of being hot and i just want to rip everything off. so is wearing a sports bra and no other shirt okay?
