I Modeled This! I Made a 3D Printed Crochet Ball That Spins When You Press It
A couple weeks back I made a borg sphere fidget, and I had a friend suggest I make one like this as well.
Everything prints except a 20mm rubber band. Best printed at 0.12 layer height, and a little grease makes it go fast.

Bambu Studio Help modifying
Good morning! I was just wondering if anyone knew of an easy way to modify this file in Bambu studio to fill in that little slice at the bottom and make it solid. I added a modifier but the edge on the main part is rounded so that didn't quite work. Just wondering if there is some easy way in the slicer to extend the piece or something I am missing.

General Troubleshooting/Help! Extruder won't turn after fixing jam
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello there,
I had a filament jam that I didn't spot until it had cooled. I had to take the extruder apart to remove a glob of hardened filament stuck in the extruder wheels. I reassembled after removing the filament and confirmed that the extruder gears and guides move freely when turned manually. Everything meshes without any issues.
After reassembly, I tried to load filament but now have a different issue. The extruder won't turn. The motor tries to turn it and I hear a clicking noise. I also see the indicator wheel click and turn a little but it won't do a rotation.
There definitely isn't anything stuck in the extruder. I actually took it apart a second time to confirm the gears meshed and it looks fine.
After trying for a minute or two it says "The extrusion motor is overloaded". I checked all the steps in the instructions for how to fix and none have worked.
Any ideas what could be causing this? Issue with the motor perhaps?

General Troubleshooting/Help! A1 just stoped moving
My Bambu Lab A1 just stopped moving after the Print was finished and won't budge. Also for an extended amount of time, the screen on my A1 just froze during download or early printing (just wanted to point that out if it's important). I don't really know why or if that's a Problem but it's the first time this has happend. Is this a G-code problem that the tool head didn't go up? Or is it bc of my machine?

Filament Troubleshooting/Help! Food safety considerations?
Iām very much looking forward to getting my first 3D printer, just waiting for the P2S Combo to be discounted for Black Friday. One thing Iām a little concerned about is I want to have prints be safe for putting things that may touch food, or toothbrushes, etc. in/on but also I want access to the wider variety of filaments that comes from not limiting myself to PLA Pure. How big an issue is it if I, for example, use a non-food-safe filament for a toothbrush holder?

Filament Troubleshooting/Help! Properly dried ABS?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Iāve been printing ABS for a while, and I honestly thought my SUNLU S2 was doing a pretty good job drying the filament.
Well, I recently got the Bambu AMS HT, and HOLY ⦠š¤Æ
The difference in print quality is absolutely insane. Iād say my ABS prints look at least 2x better compared to when I was using the SUNLU S2.
I knew drying filament was important, but I genuinely didnāt expect such a massive improvement just from switching dryers.
Now Iām wondering if my ABS was ever actually dry enough beforeā¦. š
Has anyone else noticed such a huge difference between filament dryers?

General Troubleshooting/Help! I canāt clear this cutter error code
I took apart the printer and cleared a jam in the extruder. Now I have a ācutter stuckā error I canāt clear no matter what I do. The cutter moves fine. I see the magnet is still in there. All I can think of is that I must have damaged something when taking the printer head apart. I guess next step is to replace the sensor? Any chance a factory reset works or no? Anything else to try?
I can load, extrude and unload manually. If I try to start a print the error code obviously prevents printing though. I upgraded from an A1 mini to this P1S recently and it worked fine until the clog/disassembly.

I Modeled This! Made this potion bottle lamp
So I designed a couple potion props recently and thought that the design would be really easy to turn into a lamp, so that's what I did! Pretty happy with how it turned out! It's fairly low filament usage for the size as well, and even the cork glows!
Check it out!

Quick Question Matte filament gaps
Hi everyone,
Iām noticing the first layer of my prints have these indents, does anyone know how to fix them? Itās like the design is not printing in these small gaps or the filament is not melting enough.
Have attached filament settings where Iāve increased nozzle temp. Filament is matte poly maker panchroma.
Printer is P1S :)
Thank you

I Modeled This! Designed and printed an organic ribbed catchall tray for our living room table (P1S, White PLA)
Hey everyone!
I wanted a modern, Japandi-style catchall tray for our coffee table to organize a candle, reed diffuser, and a small vase, but couldn't find anything that fit the exact vibe.
So I designed this organic/amorphous shape in Fusion 360 and added a vertical ribbed texture along the outer wall. The ribbing actually worked out greatāit diffuses light nicely, masks layer lines completely, and gives it a nice ceramic-like feel in hand.
I also created a smooth-walled version (great for marble/wood filaments) and scaled profiles for both standard 256x256 plates and the A1 Mini (180x180, which works as a compact option for larger printers too).
Let me know what you think! Model link is in the comments if anyone wants to print it.

General Discussion H2D or H2C - I do complex prints and second nozzle support interface is my biggest question
Hi
Iāve got many machines from various brands
I really want a second nozzle(s) machine for the complex prints I do where a dedicated support interface material nozzle would be ideal.
I like the bigger print volume of the H2D and H2C. Just not sure which is best for this role?
I have several single nozzle / AMS machines and I donāt like using dissimilar materials in the same nozzle. Despite prime/purge, it still leaves residue behind. That could foul up layer adhesion - thatās what Iāve seen in my testing with the Bambu Lab A1, Anycubic Kobra S1 Max and others.
I see the H2D has dropped in price some but the H2C still seems to review quite well
Thanks for your input!

I Modeled This! Poke Ghosts Vol. 2
I have designed another set of Poke Ghosts for the Makerworld Halloween contest.
You don't need a AMS or Glue, just print them, stick the addon/tail to the ghost and put a LED tea light under the ghost. Happy Printing :)
You can find the new set here: Poke Ghost Vol.2
Or the first set here: Poke Ghosts
No AI was used for the models; I sculpted them all by hand using Meshmixer.

H2 Series [H2S, H2D, H2C] Top mounted spool holder for h2 series
Currently on my 2 prototype and needs a few adjustments to piece to finish it.
I'm doing my best to print large format tpu, mostly a full body armour suit but having a nightmare with other designs.
I've designed this to incorporate a ptfe tube with plenty of slack to stop the roll from unwinding its self when the printer head accelerates.
I've printed of 3 other design so far with and without bears but all of them cause the spool to unwinding and gets caught up either on the roller, the spool or it 1 case the printer head its self, or there isnt enough slack on the filament which cause it to be pulled out of the feeder or jam up.
Either way I hope my bad cad skills can fix my issue.
Also went for an old industrial beam design and seems to be pretty strong overall.
Anyway if you read this far thanks !

General Troubleshooting/Help! Question on Printing with TPU
All - working with a P2S-AMS 2 Pro and I'd like to start experimenting with TPU filament. Made the mistake and bought Bambu TPU for AMS, print looks good on a flexible tennis ball, but there was no give or bounce to it.
Realizing I should have gone with 90A or 85A, any suggestions between the two? Assuming this will not go in AMS, how do you all feed it in? Thanks!

General Discussion Accidentally ate Bambu lab lubricant oil grease
Hi chat, I just finished lubricating my y-axis and got grease on my hands and under my finger tips then washed my hands, then ate a bag of chips and licked under my fingers nails and got a funny taste. How toxic is the lubricant oil?
Didn't see anything in the Bambu manual
