Based on my not too great research, Ive narrowed down to Momentum 4, Momentum 5, HDB 630, Px7 s2e, Px7 s3, Px8, Px8 s2 (I didn't add the Bathys since I its ridiculously priced).
My main focus is on clarity of sound as well as comfort; I travel a lot so I want a device which will give me amazing sound without giving me a headache. As far as NC is concerned, I'm currently using a HD 4.50 BTNC so anything at or above this level is ok with me. I don't care too much about microphone quality either.
I appreciate any and all insights. Please feel free to suggest headphones outside this list too.
Guess I purchased my 720n from jio mart at 4.7k it's a steal, headphones are crazy comfort at top notch I use them 7-8 hr a day for study , youtube, spotify etc , everywhere
anc is above avg in short its durga pooja time(navratri) in my area there is loud speakers are playing and it's anc can stop 70-80% of sound while watching
I have lot of confusion over cmf and sony but for me cmf are to heavy I mean they are 300g on head , after 3hr you will notice some headaches
Sony has a pretty good sound after eq
Soo in short if you looking for a headphones fro study or daily use 7-8 hr or a good sound quality goo blindly for sony
And if you use headphones for 3-4 hr so go for cmf pro as they are durable , or any other brand ,
But for me sony is a banger if we don't go for hinge isue it's a only draw back
I switched to android a while ago and lots a lotta feature and im thinking about switching right now, im looking at the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 4 because theyre 50% off rn.
I’ve had the Razer Kraken 2019 for five years and have really enjoyed using them, but they’ve worn out, so I’d like to pick something new. I own a Moondrop Dawn Pro DAC. I use the headphones for single-player games and music, I hate it when my headphones sound like I'm underwater. I don't want to adjust the equalizer. My budget is around $150.
I got an infection in my left ear and the doctor has denied me to put airpods/earbuds.
I will use headphones for meditation (because when I meditate there is a lot of noise outside here and couldn't focus) and will also use it for my coaching classes!
So recommend the ones from which the outside voice can't go through! 😭
Hey guys! I fell down the audiophile rabbit hole about 20 years ago and have owned all kinds of gear, from entry-level to high-end.
After getting the HIFIMAN Ananda Nano paired with the iFi Hip-DAC 3, I’ve found myself spending less time opening Qobuz and more time going straight to Spotify to enjoy my albums over Bluetooth with my Soundcore Q30.
I don’t know if it’s just the convenience, but the Q30 with the Flat EQ preset gives me more listening satisfaction than any high-end headphone I’ve ever owned.
So, what makes us prefer a technically inferior headphone over high-end gear?
Hey everybody, I was just wondering I was looking at the BTR 17 and then that it is Bluetooth I was wondering could my iPhone pick up the BTR 17 while driving some plan our headphones I know this may be like a probably obvious thing but I originally bought a cinear protocal max hooked up to my iPhone usbc and no audio would be pass through my headphones.
so now looking at btr 17 to connect on my iPhone would this be possible?
Hey Reddit, recently my JBL endurance race 1 got broken an I want to buy new in ear Bluetooth headphones. But I don't know if I should buy the JBL product or try the Soundcore's one. I'm worried about the P30i not being as good as the endurance because as almost everybody knows, once you have headphones of a certain quality, you can't stand using headphones of a lower quality.
Hey - straight to the point - Bought CorsairVoid Elite (cuz it looked like protogen head) dont ask why, spend 100€ for these (later found they actually cost more around 25€ brand new).
My headphones (after aprox. 2.5 years of usage) - currently greasy, mic boom is cracked, the synthetic leather is peeling off. And after buying Sony XM5 (which probably not the best headphones as I heard XM4 bit better for bang for a buck and XM6 is the same) I found out that my headphones suck, I also found that my mic is too silent, but moving my mic into my mouth fixes that issue. Also EQ only works after I open the app for it.
In conclusion my headphones work, but they currently deteriorating as we speak.
Solution: Buy new ones
And because of I'm paranoid spending 100€ for nothing. Myapproach is issue first ( meaning researching issues before whats good about the headphones) budget is around 100€-120€ cant really stretch my budget but max what can I do is 160€. and as sale season is close I dont want to wait till Christmas to get another deal.
My requirements:
Not too pricey
Removable/replaceable ear cups (cuz I dont want them being greasy)
Good company reputation
Not too much issues with the device
Durable (So it doesnt break down in like 3 year)
Good mic
Dongle connected
Clam being not too weak (hate headphones falling when I go take something)
Closed back
I need your advice of what would be the best headphones for me.
1. Best overall "Fractal Design Scape"
(But cant really afford)
Currently best option, company is good, known one issue being weak ear cup fabric glue (which company is already aware of that), and being in pricier side I hope to somehow to buy currently they cost 15X€.
2. Risky option "RAZER BLACKSHARK V3"
+ Pluses
Strong sound and a detachable mic that owners praise.
- Minuses
Faults on two units in a row: one owner returned a unit for popping and distortion. On the replacement, the dongle stopped being detected, and there was crackling even over cable.
Audio dropping to total silence there was thread in july said that some of headphones had been audio to a total silence and the only fix is turning the headset off and on.
Just random disconnects
3. Fine option "HyperX Cloud III S"
+ Pluses
Said to be best gaming headphones in 2025
- Minuses
Quiet mic - Tom’s Hardware found the recording volume relatively low even with the gain at maximum. Headphones.com calls it serviceable, not pleasant, and another reviewer says it sounds very compressed.
Weak clamp
Leatherette pads and headband, I can wipe them, but not wash them. The headband padding doesn’t come off, and leatherette tends to peel or flake after a few years.
I am looking at getting a pair of these headphones because of their style and build quality. Before I lock in the purchase, I want to make sure I am getting a good pair of headphones
I'm trying to get into mixing and mastering for my amateur band and just making my own music. I've been looking into proper mixing/mastering/recording headphones to use with reaper and a Scarlett 2i2 but don't know enough to choose from the used options which seemed good enough with my research, any help on deciding or in any other way would be appreciated. Beyerdynamic dt990 pro 250 ohms 110€ good condition
Beyerdynamic dt990 pro 250 ohms 50€ horrid headband would need to replace
Sennheiser hd 560s 70€ ok condition Sennheiser hd 598 70€ good condition and new ear muffs I actually like the look
