Discussion Lane Kiffin and the team better move on quickly

Lose was infuriating and sucks but theirs no time for him or the team to mope. Kamario Taylor is coming to Tiger stadium after a week of rest . They’ll prob have their stud running back back as well. If this team enters that game moping about that loss that game will go south and this season will fall completely off the rails.

No one wanted to be in a situation where we have two losses before the end of October but that’s the bed you made. Gotta win out from here and it starts with taking care of business and beating state. Put yourself in position by the time the bama game gets here playoff dreams are still realistic. Do I expect us to win out ? No. Do I think we have the ability to hang with any team left on our schedule? I Honesly do but how the team responds this week will tell us a lot about lane’s
Ability to pick the team up from a deflating loss

Fifty million plus dollars to go to end up going to the Texas Bowl as best case scenario

Entire country hates us. We're the laughingstock of the nation.

Kicker misses 2 chipshot field goals and we still trip over our dicks and lose.

Nothing will be done to change this. It's so fucking infuriating.

Might as well run more trick plays while we're at it

If we end up scoring more because of trick plays, we might as well commit and run more trick plays

Discussion I want your hot takes. Who do you blame most for LSU's loss against Kentucky?

Who do you think gets the biggest share of blame? Like, is it the quarterback, front 7 on defense, offensive line, coaching, etc? If we're firing off the hottest takes. Who are we blaming?

Discussion Were they refs as bad as I'm hearing?

I understand they got two TDs and the game winner off huge missed calls by the refs, but overall do you think they were bad?

Discussion Sam Leavitt sucks at football

I cannot fucking stand this dude. He struggles to throw the ball more than 10 yards. He has no composure in the pocket. Ole Miss had him scared, he doesn’t even look to throw half the time. Almost a glorified running back. Game on the line, he has fucked us over multiple times. We are the most fraudulent number 10 ranked team I’ve ever seen and we’re not winning a damn thing with Leavitt as our starting QB.

Discussion 4th and 1 man…..

Your whole Damn career your known for being aggressive and when we only needed one more yard to ice the game you make a Brian Kelly move and punt the ball …. Fucking ridiculous man we shouldn’t have even been in that position for the game to go to OT

Discussion State of the Offense

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think Sam Leavitt is the main issue, at least last night.

Sam’s gotta take better care of the ball for sure, but our receivers just don’t impress me. We don’t really have a playmaker in the receiver room right now.

We couldn’t run the ball at all last night outside of a few decent Leavitt runs. Our OL is struggling in the pass and run game, and it’s hard to consistently move the ball with a sub par OL.

Brutal loss. Joe Sloans offense looked comparable to ours. Can’t be losing those games, regardless if it’s the first year or not for this staff. It’s the Kentucky staffs first year as well.

Hope Kiffin can get this pieced together. How’s everyone else here feeling?

Lane Kiffin knows he’s hated and the villain of college football. What’s he going to do about it?

This is the downside of embracing the villain role of college sports. When the losing starts and it really sucks. You’re not going to change people’s minds about you and there’s nothing you can do to change it. So the only option left is to win football games and championships to change the narrative or at least make it irrelevant.

You can be cocky and you can be a loser. You can’t be both and still expect to have a job.

It’s like when people loved the goofy antics Les Miles was up to because he won anyway. They turned out to be really cringe and look retarded when he sucked a lot at the end of his tenure.

what an embarrassment - anyone who thinks unranked KY is a "tough" or "really good" team can go freeze themselves in a dirty duck blind.

is blake baker still walking the sidelines as DC? put him back in the upstairs booth so he can see the field better for defensive coverage

i know blake is doing the 'HC apprenticeship role' while he's shadowing lane to become HC but if he can see the field better, maybe then our defense might be not as atrocious the way it's going

LK hate only because he’s at LSU?

Genuine question: Was Lane Kiffin this hated when he was at Ole Miss? And did Ole Miss get the same amount of hate simply because he was their HC?

To be fair, I understand. I wasn’t exactly thrilled about him becoming our HC either, but here we are.

I’m genuinely curious if Ole Miss experienced this same level of negativity just for having him as their coach, or if the reaction is significantly worse now that he’s at LSU.

Discussion Make it make sense

I’m going to say this, and I know I’m going to get absolutely cooked for it, but the days of LSU being an elite football program might be over.

You hire and pay back-to-back big-name coaches in Brian Kelly and Lane Kiffin, spend MILLIONS in NIL, and what do you have to show for it? Meaningless bowl games and disappointment.

At what point do we stop talking about LSU like a national championship contender and start questioning what this program has become?

Make it make sense.

Let Leavitt go, fire Baker and rebuild for next season. This season is a wash.
