Question Dear Scottish people, is there any way I can watch Scottish Gaelic independent fantasy film Hero(1982) online?
Hello hello everyone, I'm a random cinephile from far away in Asia who really likes to explore obscure films from different countries.
I'm a BIG fan of British cinema, especially independent films. And Hero(1982) is one I randomly encountered when strolling online.
What really intrigued me about this film is the fact that, the entire film is spoken in Scottish Gaelic. Since British films basing their primary language on the UK's regional languages are very rare, this film sounds absolutely fascinating. Not to mention that it is an independent film from 1982 and has a fantasy plot.
The problem here... I can't find this film anywhere at online. It seems like it was never released digitally or maybe the file is extremely hard to find.
https://player.bfi.org.uk/rentals/film/watch-hero-1982-online
This film does have VOD service for rent on the official BFI Player channel for £3.50. And I was really eager to pay my money for it and even created an account, but the problem was... apparently this website only accepts UK credit cards and no any other foreign debit cards...
This is where I met the end of the rope... So I'm asking for help on this Subreddit. I really wish I could get some help!
(I also asked this on r/AskUK)

Support for grass roots netball
Evening everyone
Looking to see you can spare two minutes to ‘like’ and ‘share’ the Kinross netball picture on Facebook to support our local grass roots netball club. Aldi are doing an amazing funding opportunity and the Kinross netball club deserve this amazing opportunity. The team with the highest number of likes are provided with the funding. Thanks in advance.

Question St John Ambulance or St Andrews?
Hey all! I’ll keep this as short as possible.
Long story short, my fam and I are moving up to Scotland, round about the Moray/Elgin area. My mum grew up near there.
I currently volunteer for St John Ambulance Cymru, and I mostly do event cover first aid. As far as I’ve looked, St Andrew’s is an option, with a bit of a commute.
Are they similar enough that I can make a transfer? And those living in the area- is it easy enough to get to Aberdeen and Inverness via public transport to attend training/ events?
If you’re a member of St Andrew’s as well, I’d love to hear about your experience of being a volunteer as SJAC is my life and am disheartened to give it up.

Title: Anyone have experience with the LANTRA course at SRUC?
Hi everyone! I’m considering applying for the LANTRA course at SRUC next year. How was your experience? Was it helpful to get a job?
Any advice or insights would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Casual Love Scotland, y’all.
I’m drunk as hell to fair warning.
I’ve met one Scottish dude in my life. It was at an Irish bar in Nice where we chopped it up over politics and life. We figured out his favorite TV show is The Sopranos and my favorite movie is Trainspotting. We spent another few hours chopping it about life and politics, and we found a baseline understanding that UN and NATO would kill for.
So here I am, after a night out where I had to play diplomat to make sure my buddy wouldn’t get his ass kicked. I’m drunk as fuck listening to the trainspotting soundtrack and my buddy is dead asleep.
My ultimate point is I love the Scottish, I wanna visit soon, and holy shit I love Trainspotting. You guys are funny as fuck and I wanna drink with yall soon enough.
