Discussion Caught a unicorn 🦄🦄
It was offered at $49. Three orders, two for the same customer, one going about 8 miles up the highway.

How do you feel this is an acceptable payment? 10 dropoffs with who knows what? 86.5 miles one way. Probably 100 miles total for $46.05. . . After gas and wasting a whole Saturday afternoon, you'd be looking at probably $25 after taxes. Can we get The Home Depot off the platform somehow? The offer keeps popping up, and I've declined it 3 times already. We are just being taken advantage of at this point. The Home Depot doesn't want to pay delivery workers fairly and doesn't even let the customers tip through the app, so what you see is what you get.
Edit: I just noticed that it's 10 drop offs and if you want to unasssign from all 10 due to an accidental accept or whatever, you will be deactivated for too many cancellations.

Not Tryna throw shade or anything but how TF do y'all do this full time? Like literally never get ahead after expenses. The down time just sitting doing nothing, having to drive constantly all day everyday to survive. I started at dominos as a driver and do Uber eats a few hours a week now just when I'm bored. I make 30 an hour with half the miles I was driving for Uber. I literally feel bad for y'all now I really do recommend a pizza delivery job if you like driving u need to get out your comfort zone .. if you have a dominos you need to get on. Its 16 an hour plus 50 cents a mile( that's including drive back to store paid) and all tips . Today I made 170 in tips and mileage and 130 hourly in 8.5 hours so it's actually more than 30 sometimes 40 to 50 depending on tips..

Nobody is stealing your orders. Uber is double booking them.
My first pickup was at Mimi's cafe. I waited 10 minutes and during that wait, another gentleman came in for the same exact order.
We compared screens with each other and everything was a carbon copy of each other, including the order number
I still took it since I was there first.

Would you take this? I feel like it’s a trick and that time estimate is a lie. 12 drop offs? How do I keep track of them? I tried doing Walmart pickups at this store and it always takes them a zillion years. I learned my lesson.

Hello, I live in Türkiye and work as a delivery driver for Uber Eats. I work 100 hours a week and am currently ranked 194th in Türkiye. I am constantly subjected to bullying and psychological pressure by my supervisor, and as a direct result of this intense pressure, I recently had an accident. The local authorities in Türkiye completely ignore my rights, and I cannot find any support or solution. I have been with my girlfriend for 7 years and we are about to get engaged, which makes the situation even more critical for me. I urgently need your help.

My little brother did $1,700 in one week, 70 hours he thinks it’s good? Is that true. Also what is the best week anyone’s done?
r/UberEatsDrivers • u/BellevueBadass • 13h ago
We routinely get this crap. Why does Uber even allow this crap? I’ve gotten these as exclusives too.

I ordered the food today on app, been doing that for so long, same address never had issue until today i ordered food for my pregnant daughter, the driver came i even saw on map he was infront of a different building, few buildings over to the address i ordered at, My daughter's building number is 6, driver was infront of 10, then i got notification that order was delivered i saw photo and asked my daughter, that's not your door did you get food she said No, i called driver then he said the app told him building 10, keep in mind i have been ordering at same address for so long and never had issue, the driver was speaking broken English as i saw his name i figured he spoke my language, so i asked him that and he said yeah he does speak my language, i asked him whole thing over and he said the app told me building 10, i was like ok it's for my pregnant daughter, could you please get it from building 10 and take it to 6, he said no he has more deliveries to do then he'll go get it after that, i was like it'll get stolen by then, he then didn't respond to me and i ended the call before that i told him i will have to report this to uber and i don't wanna do it, he didn't respond to that either, keep in mind we are talking in our native language so there's nothing as language barrier or misunderstanding. i contacted uber they refunded the money, that was my first time getting refund from uber, i was mad so i rated him 1 star, i had even tipped in app 16%, i came back home after 30min, just out of curiosity i went to building 10 and food was still sitting there, now I'm feeling so bad that i asked uber for refund and rated the driver 1 star, What do you guys say...

I won’t buy CarPlay. I’ll say this now. I’m looking for one that I can plug into the cigarette lighter, and get next to no static if possible. The one I have right now is almost dead and I’m looking for a good replacement, does anybody recommend any?
r/UberEatsDrivers • u/computerworlds • 17h ago
I ask because the vast majority of other drivers I see picking up orders do not use a bag, and are just walking out with whatever the restaurants hands them.

I’m trying to scan someone’s ID and the app kept getting a new order so it would kick me back many times . I cannot even scan someone’s ID because I can’t put it on pause until after scanning the ID- kept kicking me back, now Uber said I have to return the order.
I hate you, Dara you piece of shit making this a below poverty wage job and taking away the pause button so I can’t even do the job!
When I have a bunch of groceries, I wanna put it on pause
When I have my hands full with food, I wanna put it on pause
When I’m in a dangerous driving situation, I need to concentrate on the road. I wanna put it on pause.
When I’m done with orders for the night and I don’t want any anymore I wanna put it on pause until the last order
Dara has took that away from us and I hate him for doing that. - Enjoy your multi hundred million dollar retirement , paid days off ,401(k) and extremely wealthy pay- the rest of us have no PTO no retirement no free food or anything and barely a livable wage. This is a shitty ass company if 99.99 percent of the people who work for it don’t get benefits, PTO or a decent retirement.

Hello, do you know why the price was slightly different for the exact same delivery offer that I declined (because it was late in the evening for me)? Could it be related to my location at the time?
r/UberEatsDrivers • u/Mode-False • 5h ago
Listen I get that you gotta find ways to weed people out but this is ridiculous. Improve your app & maps and maybe I'll score higher or my "Phone Handling"!
Oh do I "Accelerate too hard" trying to arrive b4 you offer me 6 new orders at the door step... 🙄😑

First off, it's McDonald's. Secondly, $36 for an 11.9 mile drive is amazing, but, it's McDonald's. If you look at the time, it's just after 4:00 a.m.. that means, McDonald's has already switched to breakfast and that customer likely has placed a dinner order before 4:00 a.m. which has been either stolen or the first driver arrived just after the breakfast menu began. McDonald's will not fulfill this food order.
Are there any other early morning drivers who see this garbage?

The order was from some sandwich shop when I got to the customer I handed her the food because I didn't realize it had a code but I realized it before she even shut the door. I asked her for it and she gave me some fake code.
Then once I said it didn't work she said that's the only code I have and then shut the door. I knew it was a scam so instead of just completing the order I called support and they basically just told me to complete the order.
A few hours later I get the report that she said she never received it. Her apartment complex is close by and I honestly started to go back to the leasing office and tell them what happened. But I figured if they told her she might call Uber saying I'm harassing her or something and then I would be more likely to get fired. FML!
