Paedocypris progenetica, the Indonesian superdwarf fish.
At a mature size of 6.7 mm (0.67 cm), it is both the smallest fish in the world and the second smallest vertebrate in the world.
Locally it is found in peat swamps of Selangor and Perak with acidic pH of 3-5. They can form schools of more than 100 individuals.
Feeds on microscopic Rotifers and Cladocerans.

Advice ☎️ Is my life over?
My story:
I’m y10 from an international school
I love persuading my dreams on becoming a machine learning engineering
My grades are quite average or low (B), usually I only excel in math and add maths but other than that, the rest just disappointing
I’ve known to procrastinate a lot but currently I’m trying to distance myself from all social media apps (except Reddit)
I’ve never actually tried studying in my life, apart from cramping notes last minute before exams
This few months video games have slowly becoming less fun and addicting, I did delete all of them actually.
My hobby is to experiment with ai technology, that’s why I picked engineering package in my school.
Subjects include:
English
Maths
Add maths
Chemistry
Physics
E1 (business study)
Malay (compulsory since its my country’s main language)
Chinese (foreign language)
ICT
I’ve also never tried planning either. Even if I did, the next day I would be lazy to reopen it or sometimes forgotten about it. And no I don’t have any medical conditions that affect my studies.
Maybe it’s because my planning is unrealistic like 30 minutes of studying certain topic. Sometimes I’ll end up telling myself to watch YouTube tutorials which feels like I’m making progress but I’m actually not because I’ll forget about it
Subjects I’m currently struggling in, English comprehensions, physics, business, Malay and chemistry. Some suggested me to practice more or just revise notes after class, but like the amount of chemistry or physics notes is just overwhelming, I’ve tried blurting method but it completely backfired. I wasn’t able to retain much info even after using 10 papers.
For ICT (tech) I don’t really like it since it’s all about theory and creating some sort of Microsoft word project, I expected to learn Python but instead teacher said that we’re going to learn HTML instead. I kinda regret picking ICT and could’ve atleast picked accounting.
Im considering ditching my friends and isolating myself, trying to make a change for myself, because they aren’t the friends I know from grade7. Usually copying my questions and homework last minute before submitting and they’re also absorbed into this doom scrolling addiction, sometime they would come up the weirdest ducking joke that I wished I could slap the hell out of them on the spot
One specialties about me, I bought a bunch of study equipment like books, pens, flashcards and never actually used them
my parents did assigned me tuition lessons (first language english, addmaths and chemistry)
I hope there’s anyone that can provide me advice on how to overcome this, I have no studying experience at all my life could be over..

Discussion What’s the first part of your socks to wear out? (Malaysia sock survey, 4-5 mins)
Hi everyone, I am researching why durable socks still fail after a few months. Heels thin out, toes get holes, elastic goes loose, whatever your sock experience is (gym, work, school, daily wear), I’d love your input. The survey takes about 4-5 minutes and is fully anonymous.
https://forms.gle/ARpr6ZjV78wjJhV76
If you’d rather not do the survey, a comment on which part of your socks dies first and what brand or type they were just as helpful. Thank you!

Ask Malaysians Are there nightclubs in Kuala Lumpur that allow 17-year-olds?
Hey everyone! I’m planning to move to Kuala Lumpur as an international student, and I’ll be 17 when I arrive.
I’ve been to nightclubs in Baku, Azerbaijan, and I’m curious about the nightlife scene in KL. Are there clubs that allow 17-year-olds to enter, or is the minimum age generally 18 or 21? Does it depend on the venue? If u know that suggest me some.
I’d appreciate any information from people familiar with KL’s nightlife. Thanks!

Ask Malaysians Men Only (50+): Looking for 5-6 Committed Members to Form a Regular Travel Group from Kuala Lumpur (3–4 Trips a Year, 4D3N)
Hi everyone!
I am looking to form a consistent, long-term men-only travel group of 5 to 6 core members aged 50 and above who are ready to commit to traveling together regularly. The vision is to build a reliable circle of brothers who head out to a new destination 3 to 4 times a year (roughly once every quarter).
Right now, I am looking for guys to formally commit to being group members so we can bond, plan our annual calendar ahead, and lock in affordable flights together.
To keep things manageable, routine, and easy to fit into everyone's schedules, our trips will always be short getaways: 4 days and 3 nights, always departing on a Wednesday and returning on a Saturday.
The Group Blueprint:
Demographic: Men only, aged 50+.
Base City: Kuala Lumpur (All departures from KLIA/KLIA2).
Group Size: 5–6 members total (for easy logistics and a close-knit vibe).
Frequency: 3 to 4 trips a year.
Duration: 4 Days / 3 Nights (Wednesday to Saturday).
Destinations: Around Southeast Asia, China, India, and Sri Lanka.
Travel Style: Not luxury. Comfortably budget-conscious on a strict cost-sharing basis (splitting accommodation, transport, and group meals evenly).
This group is for you if you genuinely want to travel a few times a year, value straightforward cost-sharing, and want a steady, relaxed pool of male travel friends without the hassle of constantly hunting for new buddies. We will plan our destinations together as a team based on group consensus and budget-friendly flights.
If you are a gent over 50, based in KL, and ready to commit to a regular travel circle 3–4 times a year, please comment below or send me a DM!

Ask Malaysians Since r/Malaysia are the central hub for our country related contents on reddit. The sub however very restrictive on what contents its allowed. What do you think of their subreddit rules?

I will be honest, I do post this because I was butthurt how my previous post being removed by the mods.
Which I still didn't understand, since my previous post was about the effects Indonesia stock market crash might ripples to Malaysia. I do see it related heavily, even if it's speculative and what if. It's still about Malaysia.
So I took my time to read the rules... and I find it... Restricting? Are r/Singapore or r/Indonesia like this?
Well, what's your thoughts?

Advice ☎️ Those who've moved to Europe for work, what do you wish you'd known beforehand?
Hi all,
I'll be moving to Europe for work and would appreciate some practical advice on preparing for it.
I'm mainly looking for advice on things to sort out before moving. Things like banking, EPF, investments, annoying admin stuff, etc, that might not even cross someone's mind until they're actually there, and then aduhhh D:
Pretty sure there will be some aduhhh moments, but any advice would be very much welcomed
Thanks~~~~

Help ⚠️ Anyone ever sometimes feel down all the sudden, especially after a work day?
For me sometimes I feel like after a work day, I just want to go home and lie down on bed. Sometimes I don't even get dinner, eventhough I'm hungry.
For context, im a 26M who just started getting his life together. I'm still struggling of course, but i really want to build up my life again.
I know I should be having a hobby after work or at least do some productive thing like reading, but I don't feel like doing anything at all. Maybe I feel sad too, because both my parents have left, and im a only child who's recovering from my previous nerve injury in my legs causing me to not be able to walk properly, so I need to use a Tongkat. So because of that I lost my previous job, which was a few months back.
Could this be depression? Does anyone ever feel like this?

Advice ☎️ Legal name change questions
Hi, as stated in the heading, I wish to change my name middle and last name. Would I be able to both all together?
I've read you need to take an oath but I couldn't find anything on changing two names would I need to repeat the process twice?
Long story short my dad decided to give me ultra Christian names (a combination of two religious figures) but since I was a kid I received absolute traumatic religious trauma, such as almost getting k worded and paralyzed then almost r worded as a 10 year old, just to mention a few, all at the Sunday school I was forced to attend for 5 years twice a week. I grew up hating that part of my name and my family name bc of my dad letting it all happen to me. So yeah! I was wondering if anyone had any experience in legally changing their middle and last names. I wish to change it to something more less religious.

Mildly Menarik Seluang badar, caught from a plantation ditch
Trigonopoma gracile, seluang badar/pinyih or the graceful rasbora.
It is a small (6 cm) but very skinny fish that is found on the peninsula and Sarawak. There are records from Johor, Selangor and Terengganu.
However it has become extinct in Singapore.
It inhabits acidic swamp forests with slow-flowing habitats. Usually schooling in large numbers, even hundreds!
The usual form is yellow-striped, but some come in red like the one in post. It depends on location and environment. They are a peaceful community fish that can be kept in aquariums with other small species.

Discussion The vehicle plate in Kuching is too long
Attached is an example of a vehicle plate registered in Kuching. It is 8 characters long compared to 7 in most other areas, making it difficult to remember. I know why this happens, it is due to the QAx #### being exhausted, and Q is the letter for Sarawak. However the second letter can be changed to something such as F, G, J, N, Q, U, V, W, X or Y eg. QFA1234 so that the plate can have 7 characters making it easier to remember.

Advice ☎️ should i buy a new gaming pc or stick to my current rig?
hii so long story short i have my current pc which i bought 6 years ago during the height of covid and it has been a blast for me since it was my first pc ever. ill jot down the specs as follows:
GPU -GALAX GEFORCE RTX2060 SUPER GAMER (1 CLICK OC) 8GB GDDR6
CPU - AMD RYZEN 5 2600
MOBO - ASUS PRIME A320M-K AM4
RAM - 2 X PATRIOT STEEL 8GB 3200MHZ
STORAGE - TOSHIBA P300 3.5 1TB 7200RPM SATA HDD + PATRIOT BURST SATA SSD 240GB
PSU - COOLER MASTER MWE BRONZE V2 500W 80+
TOTAL PRICE: RM3198
so i have been playing games like overwatch, the sims, tf2, stardew, league and valo with ease but recently i bought a bunch of AAA games as i really love stories like hogwarts legacy, cyberpunk and rdr2 however i do frequent lots of stuttering, stuff not loaded in the map and especially terrible loading wait times like eg. it takes me 5 minutes to launch hogwarts legacy everytime i want to play it & i attempted to play marvel rivals but i just cant get more than 30 ish fps in matches so i just die constantly😭
with that being said, i am trying to venture out in playing more games but i feel like my current pc is holding that back tremendously and i would like the input of others in this matter. ive also been doing some window shopping on prebult gaming pcs and found that idealtechpc has something within my budget. ive tried shopping for components individually but the prices ive seen so far were absurd while the ones priced decently were out of stock so prebuilt might be the move here
specs as follows:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5500
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB (Zotac/MSI)
Cooler: AMD Stock Cooler
Motherboard: COLORFUL A520M-K
RAM: GSKILL Aegis 8GB DDR4 3200Mhz
SSD: 256GBM.2NVMe SSD
Power Supply: ANTEC CSK650DC GB (80+ Bronze)(5 Year Warranty)
Casing: ANTEC CX M2 ARGB
OS: Windows 11 Home Free Unactivated
Base Specs Subtotal Price: RM3499
Upgrade To:
AMD Ryzen 5 5600 - RM259.00
ASUS RTX5060 Dual - RM99.00
MSI PRO B550M-P WIFI6E - RM250.00
FINAL TOTAL PRICE: RM4107.00
lemme know what you guys think on whether i should just keep my current pc, purchase a new one entirely or/and if there are better alternatives i would love to hear about them!
thanks!

Quick Question Any cough syrup or remedy recommendations for dry cough?
I checked older posts and a lot of people suggested Bena Expectorant, but I cannot find it on any store front online now. Instead they keep suggesting other types of the Xena brand like mucolix something. Are they good? Or do you have any other suggestions?
We're currently taking Nim Jiom Pei Pa Koa and it has helped a lot in relieving a lot of symptoms but dry cough is still existing. Been more than 2 days now.
