Both of my parents were servers at various points in their careers and I was always taught to be kind and use manners when going out to eat. Going out to eat was something that was special because we couldn't afford to do it often.

It was always, "may I please have a hamburger" or whatever.

These days I hear this phrase way too often (including from my own brother, who should know better)...

"I'll do the hamburger" - first of all that's rude. Where are your manners? Second - you're not doing anything. The server is taking your order to the kitchen where it will be prepared. They will then bring it back to you to eat.

This language (if I'm being honest) more than mildly infuriates me. Come on people!

Well this sucks(pun intended), only reason i’m cracking(pun intended) these jokes is so that you guys can’t do it first.

My life is a major shitstorm right now, to top it all off i was trying to remove this phone holder from my windshield, and the suction is so strong that it cracked the windshield. Amazing work.

Anyone know how I can remove this thing without it taking glass with it? It’s like trying to lift Thor’s hammer.

II don’t know if this was worse than the time a workmate swapped the ‘M’ and ‘N’ buttons on my work keyboard.

I requested "Do not sell/share" under CCPA and this was their response.

I'm sorry, but if you think a Soap and Glory giftset is worth £15, you can pay the £3 I'm asking for mine. Take your £1.80 offer and stick it up your Soap and Glory hole.

Me inside: I just Fucking said that! You obviously specifically called us Who the Fuck do you think it is.

Nothing makes Christmas time feel less special than. Seeing the decorations up for 2 and a half months.

It wasn’t even 8 am in the morning. I usually pretty good and breaking out that protective ring. It did not feel as sturdy as it has previously.

When I first moved into this apartment, the eco wash cycle was $1.25 and is what I used. Then one day the landlord put electrical tape over it and up-charged to $3 for the eco cycle which makes it the most expensive by far. Now I can’t use the eco cycle and have to cough up an extra $0.25 for every wash.

Accidentally bought fabric spray in the exact same scent as my current bathroom anti-stank spray. I realize this only as I was spraying my couches. My living room now,.to me, smells like a toilet.

I forgot to cancel my Deepstash free trial, and it automatically converted into a $69.99 annual subscription. My mistake, admittedly.
But here’s what bothers me: I contacted customer support within an hour of the charge, explained the situation, and requested a full refund. They initially refused outright.
After I pushed back, they offered a 50% refund as a “gesture of goodwill” but refused to refund the full amount.
I understand that subscription terms exist, but refusing to reverse an accidental charge reported almost immediately seems like a terrible way to treat customers.
I’ve since left an App Store review and disputed the charge with my credit card issuer.
Just a heads-up for anyone considering Deepstash. Pay close attention to their subscription and refund policies.
