OMG,

This is top-tier mess and I’m here for every second of it. 🤓

Currently reading chapter 65 and to be honest I was getting a tad bored with previous chapters since they didn’t really focus on the stepmom-daughter dynamic (that I started the manwha for) as much as the early chapters starting off with the whole casino plot, plus it seemed like the story was leaning on Ahrin liking her fiancé romantically,

but Holy Gay🙏🏾, this chapter just ignited my interest in a few short panels.

Love Ahrin down, she’s SO messy. Having her first time with her fiance she you can’t stop thinking about her hot stemmom that’s she’s crazt obsessed over, o ok miss crazy Gay.

I feel like I’m getting queerbated but I don’t care, at this point the roller coaster is to fun for me to get of. I’m staying on and getting burned.

Even though it’s not a Yuri. I feel like small bits quench my thirst for toxic age gap yuri. If anyone has any other recommendations for this dynamic pls tell me 🥺. I’m currently also re staring my read of “love thy Neighbor” as it it’s the closest i can think to this pair. ( without the ”incest”)

Has anyone else read it？How do u like the story and dynamic？I really didn’t think I would like this that much since I’m not into the taboo subject that the plot centers on. So I’m surprise.

PS ( im not into incest i promise, like truly 🙃.)

this was literally my first ever webtoon I read way back in 2017 ig 😭 I have so much nostalgia and memories when I think abt it sometimes it was sOOO GOOD at the start but idk what happened all these recent years the plot went all over the place and I feel like a romance webtoon turned into more of a drama type genre idkk but I always shipped yoo with kosuke 😭😭

I've finished knights of the wandering castle, the silence of songbirds, play pretend, branching out, dead water club and My unreachable Ganimedes. I'd say these all heavily fall under my tastes. I appreciate great art, a good story and/or world, an interesting cast, and especially queer men protagonists. Are there any other webtoons that might fur my taste, especially hidden gems(like how knights of the wandering castle is fairly hidden)?

It can be sword and sorcery type, though i kinda have a craving for the vaguely supernatural right now.

Perfect merch for a webtoon called 'The Playground Gang'

The Lunk's card is retro, like from March of 2021! I want to order them nooow but I has not the funds atm.

Hey there!

Tbh, I really liked this webtoon in the beginning, but then things got twisted, and I lost all interest in it afterwards ...

Is it the same for you guys as well?

Are there any info of "My in laws are obsessed with me" comeback?

Idk why they didn't put the name 😭 is it a webtoon I am not sure? I am talking about the comment btw

I need comics like Subzero. Similar art similar vibe. Please there has to be something! I feel empty after finishing it 😭 literally perfect it was. So if anyone has anything similar you know of, on or off webtoon I don't mind!

I found a really awesome comic called "The Outer Door" on Tapastic that is complete for Halloween and has about 110 episodes, with each one being a page.

The author even had animations and music, as this was posted 12 years ago. She payed such close attention to details, there are so many references, and each panel tells so much if you zoom in and really pay attention to the art and it was a really awesome and fun Halloween Story. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would be heartbroken if her work was lost forever. I wish there was a way to contact her and ask if she's willing to upload it to Webtoon or her own website where she can keep the animations and sound?

It was just too good to dissapear forever and the author put so much effort into it, and it's fully complete!

Hey, since Tapas has shut down I have been trying to find places to continue reading the webtoons I started.

Does anyone know where to find them? Apps, websites etc..

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Much love all

holy, I did not notice this very peaceful (truly like the title) and heartwarming webtoon came back in October 1 so im kinda late-ish. This webtoon is like sweet candy to me with how peaceful and heartwarming i find it and the food just looks absolutely amazing each time and I love watching the characters enjoy the food too.

(if you don't know, Tori is the orange fellow that goes chu while Marshmallow is the white wolf/puppy.)

Also is it just me or I swear before this webtoon went on hiatus, it updated on Sundays but now it appears to be updating on Thursdays in seems

I loveeeee this series(season 1). It’s such a relatable one and you really get to understand that people have their own shit. It shows the reality of life. You don’t always get what you want, people will talk shit but things will work. I like how they give importance go setting boundaries. I dont like all characters but you do encounter one like them in your life.

Any other similar webtoon to this?

I've already unlocked all episodes, will I still have them unlocked after 29th, or do I have to unlock them again?

Hello! I'm just new reader in webtoon, I'm currently reading The Remarried Empress, almost done in it. I want to save more stories for my next read, but I specifically want those old but the gold stories, any genre is fine. Please help this girly out. Thanks a lot in advance. :>

Basically it is about people getting the powers of their game avatars. The MC has the class of Avenger(I think) and his female companion has some class with either Dungeon or trap in the title. The whole story is just a death game of them fighting other people with powers in the real world. I think monsters might have also been involved but I most just remember them fighting people. That's about all I remember.

This is "A child who looks like me", as you can see it went on hiatus back in March on the 21st, then it came back on October 3rd. I had realized that I felt like I should have read an episode last week, so I go and look and sure enough, its on a break. My only grievance is that as you can see, there was only 3 episodes left of the season since the previous break back in March. After 7 months it comes back just to drop 1 episode and it takes a break again. I understand breaks, I do, I just wish the season could be finished beforehand. Like, imagine watching a TV show that has a 20 episode seasonal run, but decides to take their seasonal break with 5 episodes left of the season. By the time it returns remembering the plot is tricky and you're confused, but maybe thats just me 🤷‍♀️

Started this one during the week and caught up to it in one day, now that I've had some time to think about it, I'm still not sure if Cain is the good guy and not connected to that shady cult in any way or what his end goal is and if he's related to that psycho somehow. Edit: Any thoughts or theories?

[TW: HEALED S/H SCARS!!!]

I've been super obsessed with this comic and I really wanted to draw my oc x canon ヽ(・ω・)ノ(NO SPOILERS!!!!!!!!)

Summmm stuff about her:

Eunha is a transfer student who finds Sarang captivating, maybe it's because she sees her own struggles in Sarang that she wants to do anything in her power to become close with her, though she's not that good at it. (*´･ω･)💧

Obviously, Sarang doesn't reciprocate those feelings and finds Eunha's clingness to be confusing and would test how far she can take it.

I don't have any idea about the plot.this is in my reading list for quite a while .I just want a overview of the story and your thoughts while you were reading this.

I was bored so I drew my fav duo

Why do I need Coins or to watch ads to finish series that were completed years ago? I hate how greedy and unnecessarily complicated apps I’ve been using for years have become. I used to have fun binging a new web comic like crazy but now I can’t do that anymore unless it’s still a currently ongoing story.

I’m glad I managed to read the entirety of The Greatest Estate Developer before it officially ended. Good luck to newcomers who need to watch daily ads or pay for Coins lol.

(Previous post: 1+1 Titles become Ad Pass / Coin-only on 2026-10-15 and 2026-10-22)

Also, on 2026-08-16, WEBTOON announced "WEBTOON Account" for 2026-09-14 2026-10-13 2026-10-12. This probably breaks older versions of the app for logged-in users, so I'm not looking forward to all the new changes. I meant to make a post about possible consequences of this, but forgot + busy.

• A user account is currently needed to read Mature comics (in English, though not in some other language platforms), and to unlock Ad Pass and Coin episodes (including temporarily-free Pass, when there's a Binge).

Locking on 2026-10-29 (NEW):

The banner doesn't say "Watch ads": "Use Coins to unlock episodes beginning October 29th, 2026." I don't know if this is a mistake or if they're really locking.

Indonesian Relaunches

"Baca ulang cerita asli dari drama "The Remarried Empress", 5 episode gratis per hari hingga tamat!"

• Relaunch Legendaris - The Second Marriage (The Remarried Empress)
  • 251 episodes total (247 normal episodes), plus an Afterword.
  • It will probably finish releasing around 2026-11-04. After that, it will probably be removed 7 days later.
  • Started 2026-09-15. (I didn't notice until 2026-10-08.)

I will update if there are more. I plan to trigger a scan every day after daily reset, or (if I miss it) before the reset the next day.

Since 2026-03-26 (which is during DST), titles tend to lock at the time of new episode release, and one hour before the time of the Daily Pass (now Ad Pass) reset, which is 18:00 Pacific Time (01:00 UTC during US daylight saving time, and 02:00 UTC during US standard time).

[2026-02-27] There MAY be a new pattern of putting most of the locks at the end of the month.

[2026-03-12] They seemed to have moved two weeks of locks, 03-12 and 03-19, to 03-26. This may be part of a new strategy, to confuse us.

• 2026-03-19: They decided to announce "Hanlin Gym", so they're at least not fully sticking with the end-of-month lock strategy.

Tip: The day before a title locks, you can use the Download feature for all of the chapters, giving you thirty more days to read them. You won't be able to use the Like and Comment features, and the UI for downloaded chapters seems to be an earlier version (which you might prefer). Note that downloading takes time and can fail, so watch this process for failures. Audio must be downloaded within an hour or two (not sure which) of queuing them, or the episode with audio will fail and cancel the rest of the series's download.

If a title doesn't allow you to download but it isn't locked yet, open an episode and see if it has a Download button in the triple dot menu. (I've seen this in Spanish and Indonesian.)

I also crosspost these lock posts on my profile (u/Raijinili), if you want to have a way to get some notifications. I don't know how profile posts work, so good luck with that.

There was a section here about Ad Binge which I've removed, as it is no longer relevant (since ALMOST all "Ad Pass" titles have unlimited ads now).

Check this post for a snapshot (not updated) of which titles DON'T have Ad Passes: List of coin-only completed titles

In summary, titles which were originally in a language/region NOT Korean or English (e.g. Spanish, Japanese, Indonesia (yes, officially labeled "Indonesia")) don't have Ad Pass, and there are a few Korean/English outliers.

WEBTOON lock history is now on its own wiki page.

New additions:

• 10-08: "Here U Are" (Chinese, but translated from Korean) had its banner edited less than 7 days into its 14-day warning, removing "Watch ads or", and leaving "Use coins".
  • It locked for 7 coins, no ads.
• 10-15: The monthly big batch of banners also had "Use coins", rather than "Watch ads or use coins". The single banner between from 10-08 still had the "Watch ads or" part.

WEBTOON isn't properly communicating about this, and aren't following any consistent set of rules. If locks matter to you, you may want to check in on this post during the month to see if I make any updates.

Banners used to appear about 30 days before lock. Please direct complaints to https://webtoon.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new . (Remember that customer service has no power to make these decisions, so be kind to your messenger.)

Watch out for free coin events

There were two reading events in 2024 October, giving 10 coins each (lasts 30 days). Watch out for those. The coins last one week each.

There was another reading event in 2024 November, for 7 coins. There were a few more since then.

There's a free reading event which just started a few hours ago (2025-02-13 to 2025-02-20) for 7 coins. You might want to delay until the last two days, to extend the expiration date.

I posted tips here.

Note that creators don't benefit from free coins.

2025-02: Most of the coin events in recent months were "Spend 21 coins to get 7 coins". There was a free CANVAS one, but it didn't work and then they took it down early.

2025-10: "Falling for It" had a "read 3 episodes for 5 coins" event, but it only lasted for about 24 hours. This was the first free coins event I've seen since February.

2025-11-08: "Watch Guys Catch Feelings" 7-days Event From Nov 8 01:00 UTC to Nov 15 01:00 UTC. "Read any 6 Episodes from any of the 4 listed series and get 8 Free Coins."

2025-11-25 (around): "Marriages Gone Wild": 8 coins for reading.

2025-12-10 - 2025-12-16: "Wild Marriages": 8 coins for reading.

2025-12-25 - 2025-12-23 to 12-31: Two reading events: Read 30 episodes for 15 coins, each. Nice.

2026-04-05 - "April's Making it Rain!" (once a week for three weeks): Read (i.e. reach the bottom of) 35 episodes of four specific titles for 10 Coins, but they expire in one day after you get them.

2026-09-10 - There are two coin events active right now:

• [expired] Read 8 episodes of "Onimusha: Way of the Sword" for 5 coins.
• [expired] "A Spell For A Smith" promotion: 3 coins if you Subscribe. (Never seen this before.)
  • These coins will expire less than 2 days after you get them.
  • You don't need to stay subscribed.
  • I don't know what happens if you're already subscribed. Maybe check if you have the 3 coins, and then try unsubscribing and resubscribing.

2026-10-08 - "Daily Reading Event": "Read Daily & Get Coins! ✨". The Promotion opens a page (though it's a little misleading in wording).

• You should get the 1 Coin if you go to a series that just updated that day (i.e. one marked "UPDATED"/"New Episode"), and scroll to the bottom of ANY episode.
• The Coin opportunity resets during the standard WEBTOON reset time (01:00 UTC), so you can get one every day.
• The Coin lasts for 7 days (rounding up to 00:00 KST, 15:00 UTC).
• You don't need to spend the coin on Fast Pass.

Note that I will NOT generally be tracking these, so pay attention in-app for these events.

Subscribing to my posts

Some users have asked whether they could get updates when I post here. I try to remember to repost on my profile, u/Raijinili, but that's not ideal.

It looks like u/UpdateMeBot can be used to subscribe to my posts (not comments) in this sub, but it requires enough people to use the service on a subreddit to start scraping. (As of 2025-02, I've been told by a subscriber that there are still not enough subscribers for this to be on.)

Each subreddit it checks takes several seconds, so I have to limit the number of subreddits or the bot will get overloaded. New subreddits are automatically added once they get enough requests. [src]

To subscribe, post this as a comment (possibly needs to be top-level), and the bot will send you a private message:

SubscribeMe!

(If you post it as a comment, I may downvote you, to keep your comment from bubbling up over discussion comments.)

Or, to do so privately, message u/UpdateMeBot with:

SubscribeMe! r/webtoons u/Raijinili

(Click here to send the message.)

(This also means I can't just post non-update meta stuff to r/webtoons, or else I will cause trivial alerts.)

Reddit is restricting Old Reddit to logged-in users, supposedly as an anti-scraping measure, and I'm questioning how much more I want to contribute to this site. Reddit is trying to guard against AI to protect the monetary value of the info we produce, and it doesn't care if that also affects real humans. That sucks.

As soon as I get around to doing the work of deciding where, and setting up the transfer...

If you also want Old Reddit, tomjwatson's "Old Reddit Redirect" extension for Firefox has a workaround that works for now.

I'm a looking for stories with healthy relationships recommendations. I'm tired of SA being romanticize or he stalks the MC or something like that. I want a couple that struggles but no abuse. Could you please recommend me something like that.

I prefer BL

I am wanting to create a Manuel for a mystery/sci fi story I making. how do put it together?
