Hey all! I recently purchased a 2017 Focus ST with just shy of 47,000 miles, it was a salvage rebuild, and so far everything is just about perfect. I detailed it the other day, and after moving the passenger seat forward I realized I don’t have the vent that goes under that seat. Would any of you know where I can get one, have one for sale, etc?
Thanks! So excited to see what this car can do!

Gave my Pre-facelift a little bit of a facelift because I have poverty spec headlights without DRL.
Trying out these AliExpress fogs that come with Halo DRL. Really easy install aswell.

Somebody near me is selling a 2013 ST2 with 192K and a blown turbo for 5K(need to get his head straight😂). I have a stock turbo that I could throw on for little to no cost. What do you guys think the value of that car with so many miles is? Is it worth trying to fix and resell? Would never pay 5k, but maybe 3.5 or 4.

In the US, ordering from Rock Auto. No clue if Moog is still ok? Drivers side endlink broke. Shocking I know, I am still on stock suspension with no desire to lower it. Wondering what brand yall went with or am I just over thinking it.
Guessing MEVOTECH or Moog are fine for stock?

Hey guys, I’ve been having an issue with my 2018 Focus ST (85k miles). During moderate highway pulls (1/4-1/2 throttle, 3-3.5k rpm) I often feel my boost/power fluctuating and stuttering as it builds. But if I mat the throttle to the floor, the car accelerates smoothly and boost seems to perform properly. Has anybody else ever run into this problem?
My basic googling has me suspicious of my blowoff valve (stock)

My dad has a 2016 ford ranger and he recently swapped in a android system and now his old sync system is lying around. I was wondering If I can replace my 2013 focus st system with the ford ranger one and then just get a surround that fits the ranger sync? Would it be compatible or are they completely different systems?

I’m almost due for its first oil change since I’ve had it. It’s a 2014 with 55,000 on it. What do yall recommend using?

Hey guys, putting new coolant in the system.
However the manual says 8 liters, internet says 6.3 BUT when i flush everything down and add the new one, only 2.4 liters stays in.
Got the car in temperature, made a ride (even went fast) but the coolant didn’t get down.
Pls help idk if it’s stuck or something.🙃🙃

I have a 14 ST3 that I purchased at the beginning of the year. It is FBO and has been so much fun to drive. I've put about 5k miles on it since purchase and noticed oil leaking the other day. I diagnosed it as the rear main seal and took it to my trusted local mechanic. He concurred it was the rear main seal leaking and that the PCV has failed and is what caused the excess pressure which made the rear main seal and oil pan leak.
He has quoted $2,577 to replace the PCV, the rear main seal leak, the oil pan leak and a new clutch kit while he's already got everything apart.
I have already replaced the AC compressor and the motor mounts as one of them failed (~$1,500 for both). I am now trying to decide if it's worthwhile to sink another $2,577 into the car or if there are just going to be more issues that come up and require major repairs. If I get rid of it, I'd most likely be trading in to a dealership and getting $4.5-5k out of it, so I'm still losing $3-3.5k from my $8k purchase price plus another $1.5k in already sunk costs on repairs.
If it were you, would you repair it and hope for the best or cut your losses and dump it on a dealership?
Edit: forgot to add it's got 120k miles.

Hi guys,
Looking for some advice / help on the below.
I’ve recently bought a 2013 focus st3 (petrol) and curious if anyone has upgraded the sync system (I believe it is sync 1) to a sync 3 Apple car play system. I’ve began to drive more for work and the current Nav system does my head in. I’m based in the uk and have seen companies that offer the upgrade but unsure if buying a kit online for much cheaper would be a better option?
Also, I’m contemplating getting a stage 1 remap. The car has 250bph stock and is nippy and responsive, I’ve read online that a stage 1 makes it more responsive in the midrange. Took my previous car to stage 1 and loved it.
Thanks

Hi all, just wanted to get some more opinions. I have ST mk3 facelift. I just did the FMIC and RMM upgrade. FMIC is Aritec, motor mount is Mountune. And besides an airfilter and RS intake cover the car is stock.
I plan to also do the powermax turbo and a custom tune. Dont really plan to go much further because I want to keep the car for comfortable daily driving. With this in mind, how much of an importance would be fitting it with sports cat downpipe also (and then doing the tune)? In the local market I found a Wagner downpipe (200CPSI), presumably with a lot more flow, or rather less back pressure. How much of an "help" would it be for the turbo? And yes I saw the video from Edge Autosport where they did it only with FMIC and powermax turbo, so I know its quite ok to do it like that. Just want to know if investing in the DP is worth it. Thanks!

Hey I’m looking at a 2014 st. It’s been really cared for, older woman that has all service records and bought it in 2015 from a dealership.
Cons: it has 153500 miles. I don’t love the tangerine color
Price: $7k
Pros: super clean, well maintenance, stock.
Worth buying? It drove great and was super fun!

Hey guys, currently driving a '15 fiesta st, but cannot stop dreaming about those 5 pot sounds! What should I look out for when buying one? Any tips are welcome!

I have a BT FoST with a full MBPR catback. It has one big muffler after the downpipe and then a smaller resonator near the back. My tune is almost done and I want the exhaust a little louder for the crackles (don’t hate me). Does anybody have a resonator they can recommend me that I can switch out for my muffler?

So I have a 2018 ST2 with the HID/Xenon headlights and my clear coat is peeling and the passenger one just got really foggy after a recent trip to CA so I’m trying to look up replacement aftermarket headlights, but all of them are Halogen compatible only. Please help!

I wanted to do a PCV catch can after replacing the head to do my best at keeping my valves cleaner. Installation was very straightforward and simple. Basic socket set and plires will get this job done. I like that the can has a dip stick to check the level for emptying the can.

Hello citizens of Reddit,
I very recently came into possession of this love of mine.
This is predominantly stock 2020 Gasoline, Manual Mark 4.
The only not stock things are:
I was checking some videos, articles and talking to some friends and came with list of possible mods.
I wanted to ask more senior and experienced people here, which of those make sense and which are a waste of money.
My goal is not to make the car unrecognizable, but more like enhanced version of itself. Slightly more HP, better handling, more fun type of thing. Not necessarily the most power I can get from it.
Thank you very much in advance

Hi everyone! After months of searching I finally purchased my new (to me) Focus ST. I imported it from Germany (I'm from Spain), it is a 2018 with 108,000km on the clock (67k miles). It's been a blast so far!
Any tips or recommendations are greatly appreciated!

Let's hear from everyone with over 250k miles or 400k kilometers. I love the hell outta my ST and I want to hear what you did to help yours live so long.

Clutch pedal is sticking, what do you guys think, is it the master or the slave cylinder? Or is it even possible to tell from this video? Follow up video from a few seconds later is in the comments

2013 focus ST with 100K miles that was just out of for sale for 7K USD. The car seems like it’s in great shape and has has the original owner since new. All maintenance records available. Has a few mods but none that seem alarming. Do you think this is a good buy or should I wait for a 2015+ to come up?
