You can’t see it in the photo, but heretics are burning in that fire. There’s too much fire.

My take on the Lion, done up for a friend of mine for his DA army. Cold black armour to call back to the Heresy-era panoply of the legion, and burning phosphex on the base to evoke their role as the Emperor’s exterminators 🗡️

I don't have access to tone pro yet, so I made this swatch to make pre-ordering sets easier.

These colours were taken from the Games Workshop website and blended in photoshop, so it's likely not an exact representation of the physical paints, but it's handy to visualise the gradient created from each set of 5 paints.

My playgroups' having a mini painting competition. I'm looking to paint a character that's pissed off and pulling out his blicky.

Added 2 Vindicator, 2 Whirlwind and some ruins. Also changed the distribution of the army inside the cabinet: I decided to put all the Rhino chassis all together. The Predator with the basic paint job and the handmade dozer was the first tank I painted 22 years ago.

Saw the concept based on the Lord of Poxes a while back and wanted to make myself one as well.

I am generally new to the table top aspect of the hobby and wanted to know if functionally are there any differences between these two sets or are they basically the same and just different cosmetically?

The Adeptus Custodes Korean codex came up with "도약검", which means "Jumpsword" or "Leapsword".

Was the "Vault" in vaultsword that vault? I thought it meant the Vault of Terra. A powerful weapon that was stored in a secret vault or something.

Did you guys read it as the "sword of jump"?
