StarShield is the military satellite internet service which Ukraine has been using to guide drones and interceptors in its existential fight against Putin's Russia. It's unclear so far who in the United States ordered the speed limits, but let's think for a moment about how insane that is: People's lives halfway across the globe rely on the say-so of two or three ultra-wealthy assholes who can turn life-saving technology on and off on a whim. What I find more frightening is that there are people in the chain of command who will actually implement the orders of these addled rotting husks of barely sentient meat. There is no one -- no one -- in the chain of command who doesn't know who these orders are coming from and what they mean. Every one of them is guilty of rank treason. Unmarked graves are too good for them. They should be buried under working toilets.

The people of Ukraine, meanwhile, who have already been suffering for the geopolitical greed of one man, are now under threat of ballistic bombardment without warning, which is to me absolutely terrifying. I cannot imagine having to wait to see if I or my friends or family are the ones to be obliterated suddenly this time with no recourse whatsoever, no way to strike back, help, or avoid it. I cannot imagine being so helpless and it hurts.

Impeach. Indict. Imprison. Immiserate. Immediately.
