Course Photo Starting carrying a mesh bag to collect trash during rounds

My local 9 hole is in a public park and doesn’t get a lot of respect from other residents. Decided to do something about it and start carrying around a mesh bag for trash. Was super easy to pick up stuff. As I picked up my disc lie, if I saw something I’d throw it in the bag. Was able to stuff the bag 100% without needing to go out of my way searching for garbage.

Imagine how clean all the courses could be if we all did our own little part!

Edit: Mesh bag I used incase anyone is interested

Wide open 268' par 3. Basket is at the top of the little hill under the tree. What are we throwing? A giant party 🥳

Edit: This is Texas Lutheran University DGC. The event is definitely some sort of student thing, which is totally their right. They're not behaving badly and I'm not complaining. Just wanted to share something funny from my round this morning. (And play on the normal "what are we throwing" theme 😁)

My bad for not including more details. Happy discing y'all.

190ft. 9 tree hallway between you and the basket. I went with a buzz RHBH and ended up a little short and outside of the hallway to the left

I'm passing through Bakersfield on a road trip and remember playing the course at Hart Park years ago. I didn't realize there were two side by side courses. I guess I'll play the other course.

This is hole 2 at Makoshika State Park outside Glendive MT. The whole course is a truly unique experience, but this one was super cool. You are throwing off a small 10-15 foot high butte (bottom dark green on the map), over another butte (middle dark green on the map), onto a small maybe 10' by 10' area butte at 188 feet (top dark green on the map). I left it about 3 feet short, so had to play up from the valley.

I rated it as 5/5. Really well laid out (we were alone, but if you had lots of people playing, the next tee pads were usually pretty much on the green of the last hole, so you never got lost). Great t-pads and signs. Signs often showed you where the baskets that weren't in play were, so you could better orient your shots. If it wasn't 16 hours from home, I'd play it all the time!

Kaatis, Vihti. For me, it’s one of the hardest and most beautiful courses in Finland. I have played probably 50 rounds of this 24-hole monster in the last few months.
