Analysis We need to ban domestic stadiums

• Upvotes

Frankly, dome stadiums are an affront to God. He gave us the great outdoors to play football in and we respond to this by building domes? It’s pure heresy.
There are also strategic advantages to playing outside. Imagine if you will, having a team from the south playing outside in the Dykehouse in December. They’d freeze their asses off!
Lastly, we need to address the voodoo that comes with them. It’s just unfair, as I’m sure Montana State fans can also attest to.
Thank you for reading.

Sorry for the trolling title, but it’s a fun article that got put out by Skyline recently. Discuss, rage, cry, but you can’t deny the truth!

Northern Illinois belongs in the FCS

• Upvotes

Obviously, they receive huge financial incentives to stay FBS at this point. However looking at their geography and level of competitiveness, they would fit perfectly with the Missouri Valley. They wouldn’t even dominate in the MVFC, as shown by the loss to Illinois state this year. I bet they could probably be in the playoffs for FCS almost every year, though. It just makes more sense in almost every way.

Big Sky Championship

With the way the Big Sky is looking right now (7 1-loss teams, which will change significantly today) we could see 2-3 one-loss teams, my personal prediction is Nau and both Montanas. How does this look for the overall champion? Considering they all cannibalized each other…

Also seriously do not ask for "alternate" streams, because we don't want to deal with takedown notices. Most games have radio broadcasts available for free if you're really desperate.
