Why not pay real actors and filmmakers? Shameful.

I'm surprised this isn't much bigger news. No notification was given by my kids school that the hot lunch provider was closed down due to the inspector finding rodent droppings in a number of places.

The hack of that bread! The whole load comes with a big aul side valley

Does anyone remember a drink awareness advert from 20ish years ago, the slogan was something like “why would you end your night like this” or something. It involved a man ripping his ear ring out, pouring curry down his top and giving himself a black eye (I think) before going on a night out. Was nightmare fuel at the time to me, haven’t been able to find a clip of it

Since 2006, the Nialler9 blog has published an annual list of the best Irish albums. From 2006 to 2015, these were reader polls; from 2016 onwards, the selections have been Niall’s own choices, although some years featured both.

Genre-wise, the lists are fairly eclectic, ranging from indie and electronica to rock and hip hop, while generally steering clear of the mainstream choices of the year.
