In the mcu he needed dozens of mini boosters to push a ferry and also had to use his own boosters while comic iron man was carrying multiple warships with nothing but pure strength, it's absolutely insane.

I honestly believe ironman in the mcu is more of a verisimilitude based take on the character where it's basically a flying armored tank with aiming system and AI where his weapons are his speciality, while comics ironman felt like he actually becomes a superhuman and everything including weapons comes later.

Was there ever a second one in a book I haven't read? Are these robots? If so, I find that strange, The Controller isn't a character I would ever picture chickening out on a fight. Or the most likely option which is gameplay balancing.

Basically, is Stark’s Mark 85 armor strong enough and advanced enough to defeat all of his pre nanotech suits?

The Samurai and Pirate are pretty much flawless. They picked the best final version to appear in game (All 3 for Samurai are sexy, the Pirate one they went with the best option)

Extremibiote on the other hand. I still dig it but some of the versions on the concept art are much better, at least imho.
