go to your room What I swept up after my brother said he finished sweeping.

My brother said he finished sweeping so that I could mop, went to mop, and noticed there was a bunch of stuff the mop was tossing around, so I had to sweep for him, and this is what I got. This is why I hate cleaning a room with other people.

ಠ_ಠ Why is it always the people who are listing things for real money that make cheapskate offers on Vinted?

If someone makes a cheapskate offer on something I'm already selling for not very much money, I always check their profiles to see what they're selling. 9 times out of 10, they'll have similar stuff listed for wayyyy more expensive. I'm sorry, but if you think a Soap and Glory giftset is worth £15, you can pay the £3 I'm asking for mine. Take your £1.80 offer and stick it up your Soap and Glory hole.

When I first moved into this apartment, the eco wash cycle was $1.25 and is what I used. Then one day the landlord put electrical tape over it and up-charged to $3 for the eco cycle which makes it the most expensive by far. Now I can’t use the eco cycle and have to cough up an extra $0.25 for every wash.

Accidentally bought fabric spray in the exact same scent as my current bathroom anti-stank spray. I realize this only as I was spraying my couches. My living room now,.to me, smells like a toilet.

Infuriatig Deepstash refused to refund my $69.99 subscription despite contacting them within an hour of renewal

I forgot to cancel my Deepstash free trial, and it automatically converted into a $69.99 annual subscription. My mistake, admittedly.
But here’s what bothers me: I contacted customer support within an hour of the charge, explained the situation, and requested a full refund. They initially refused outright.
After I pushed back, they offered a 50% refund as a “gesture of goodwill” but refused to refund the full amount.
I understand that subscription terms exist, but refusing to reverse an accidental charge reported almost immediately seems like a terrible way to treat customers.
I’ve since left an App Store review and disputed the charge with my credit card issuer.
Just a heads-up for anyone considering Deepstash. Pay close attention to their subscription and refund policies.

I'm slightly vexed What would possess someone to shove all this unused tissue and crystal bags down the back of a radiator?

Post image

poster of mine fell behind my radiator and i’ve spent half the day trying to get it out with no avail, but i have gotten all of this unused paper and a bag of black rocks from the previous tenant out?? this isn’t even HALF of the issue behind it, so when i get a litter picker to retrieve my poster i’ll have a field day, but why the FUCK would someone do this?

go to your room My new tv wont let me use it unless I download an app and bind it to a personal samsung account

Post image

As the title states, I thought my new tv would work out of the box, but it wont let me use the smart tv or even set it up properly without downloading and connecting the tv to the ”Smart Things” app and force agreeing to several ToS. If you try and skip it, the tv functionality is heavily restricted.

Maybe someone has a workaround for this but to me it seems like I have no choice.

Edit: Most suggested returning the TV while others are positive they all are like this (all new smart tvs). However some users suggested there was apparently a workaround by doing a factory reset, pressing right button and setting up without internet connection. This works fine, none of the smart features in the TV is available this way but I prefer this solution over selling myself out to some big Corp. Thank you for this info!

TLDR; my brand new Samsung tv wont function correctly unless I agree to shady spying ToS and connect to a personal account via an app on my phone.

Infuriatig Epic Games is going full AI, while they won't even try to help their customers

So I can't log into the epic games mobile app , cool , I go to the support , it's AI , then ai tells me everything that doesn't work and I had to ask it 3 TIMES to let me open a ticket , then I opened the ticket , and they told me to f*ck myself

And also , they have the WORST MOBILE APP EVER I would always spend like 30 minutes signing into thier app , and the app would randomly sign me out after 2-4 weeks

Genuinely the worst and the most frustrating customer experience I ever had

Ruined by Technology Apparently you have to provide your contact information before a salesperson will help you at SuitSupply

Post image
9.3k Upvotes

I’m shopping for a new suit, and although SuitSupply is a little below the price range I’m considering, I figured I’d pop into their store at Brickell City Centre in Miami to get a sense of the quality.
As soon as I walked in, a woman greeted me and asked how she could help. I started describing the style of suit I was looking for, but she cut me off, turned over a phone, and presented me with a QR code stuck to the back.
I scanned it, but cell service in the store was terrible and the page wouldn’t load.
After standing there for about 30 seconds staring at a blank browser, I asked if I could just speak with a salesperson and look at some suits.
She told me they needed my email address or phone number to pull up my customer profile.
I’d never shopped at SuitSupply before, so obviously I didn’t have a profile. Presumably they wanted to create one.
I asked her directly whether providing this information was actually a requirement to receive help in the store. She said yes.
At this point, getting increasingly irritated, I told her that since the page wasn’t loading, and I wasn’t particularly interested in providing my information anyway, I wasn’t going to do that.
She curtly replied, “Have a beautiful day,” and gestured toward the entrance.
So I left.
Am I crazy for thinking it’s ridiculous that I can’t walk into a clothing store and speak to a salesperson without first handing over my contact information?
I realize I’m probably being a little petty, but this experience has pretty much guaranteed I won’t be shopping at SuitSupply anytime soon.

go to your room My phone keeps messing with my volumes and idk how to turn it off

Post image

I have scoured the settings and the web and just cannot figure it out. Even when I'm in the car listening to music it'll suddenly drop the volume to an 'acceptable' level. I have my phone all the way up because I then control the volume with my car. Because it's connected via Bluetooth.

And it does the same shit with my alarms too. Like...I need my alarms loud stop lowering the goddamn volume!

Like goddamn
