Hello. I got back to reading Webtoons after a very long hiatus and I have subscribes to so many series I lost track of which ones I completed reading. Is there a way to mark the ones I have already completed so I can organize my backlog better?

For reference, I'm talking about art styles like:

• The blind prince
• Sable curse
• Marionetta / hooky
• FIO
• Five pounds
• Blades of furry

I recently got back into digital art and started collating a bunch of art styles I found interesting to brush up on my skills after dropping art for over a decade 😅. These are a few webtoons I've either read in the past or stumbled across because the art on the thumbnail caught my eye.

Feel free to recommend non-webtoon artists too. Pls no nsfw recommendations.

This series is getting SOO GOOOD. I have loved most of Na Yoonhee’s previous works (Whale Star, A Heartfelt Andante)

Even if you choose to wait for it to end, do make sure to read if you like serious themes like politics, slavery and how poorly women were treated in the past. These topics are discussed heavily, and the consequences they have on the characters. Not to mention, the complexity among each and every character, and how their motivations are described so clearly.

It takes a few eps to get into what the core of the plot is, but even with 33 episodes I can tell the vision of the story is hopefully heading towards a good direction.

How do you feel when webtoons include realistic/familiar UI elements or apps? I as a creator love making mock screens. As a reader, do you enjoy the immersion, or prefer webtoons to feel separated from the real world?

i follow Yongseok Jo on Instagram and he recently posted a picture with a baby, maybe his baby? idk, but that made me think about windbreaker and how it ended so badly😭 i really really liked that webtoon and I'm living a tiny little grief cause I've been reading for yearssss, told my friends about it and even made friends who also read it!

does anyone knows if he intend to continue the story? or is it gone for good?

Hi everyone! I'm the solo creator behind OBSESSED, an original BL webtoon. I handle the writing, sketching, lineart, and coloring myself.

Premise: Kael works for an underground organization, and Trieu is the person the organization is looking for. But over the course of their contact, the two of them slowly open up about each other's wounded pasts. Is Trieu really just the target, or does he have some other connection to Kael?

So day by day I am going to rant and post about characters in webtoons that I hate until I'm finished.
This is second one

This girl is Illena from UnOrdinary

Reason I hate her:

So anyone who read this webtoon would know why it's easy to hate her. Now I hate all the bullies in UnOrdinary but of all the bullies I hate-no DESPISE her the most. She and her friends ganged up on John and attack him for breaking their friend's arm when he's the one harassed John. Of course let's not forget the worst thing she has done and that is kidnap and torture Seraphina. When Seraphina lost her ability she took advantage of that and had her friends tie her up and take her hurting because they feel like they had the right sick of how they have to suck up to high tiers being treated like dirt when Seraphina has done nothing to them (except that green hair girl but she was protecting John when she slammed her head to the wall). She seriously has the fucking nerve to act like she's a victim when all she does is victimize other people. She isn't victimized by high rankers she just hates not being seen on their level.

Meanwhile she's a mid-tier can live a normal life does not think about the low-tiers she torments for fun. Massive hypocrite, she got mad at Arlo for saying she should be ashamed thinking it's no different from what they do. Sick of being forced to live in their shadow? Well maybe if you weren't garbage you'd get somewhere in life.
She is a damn hypocrite and has such a victim complex while ruthlessly bullying and tormenting others. How she's not repulsed with herself bothers
me. I was not satisfied at all when John attacked them all he did was kick her before he got interrupted by Wenqi. She deserved the same torture she put Seraphina through and more. We never saw them again after that I kind of wish we knew what happened to them. I know they got suspended but still that's not enough. Illena classic victimizer who thinks she's a victim. May she have a terrible miserable life.

Saw this on X and thought it might be useful for anyone with a massive Tapas library they don’t want to manually write down.

NextChapter has a tool that imports your list of series from your public Tapas profile. It doesn’t save the chapters or anything you purchased, just the titles so you can keep track of them.

They also have creator pages where authors/artists can add their links and say where they’re posting next. Could be handy with everyone ending up on different sites.

anyone know how many days the event is gonna go on for? It says 7 coins for 1 chapers but i got 5 coins in the middle from another event so i wont have enough for the chapter i wanna unlock if this event only gets upto 7 coins 😢

I’ve been using the Webtoon app for years now and it’s always worked fine when there’s internet, but there’s been many times where I’ve wanted to download a few episodes for when I’m going on a plane or a trip, where I know my signal will be bad…but for whatever reason, the download speed in this app is the most atrocious thing I’ve ever seen.

I can download full movies/shows that are multiple gigabytes faster than it takes to download a single chapter of a single Webtoon, and I can’t fathom why. Sometimes it’ll download super fast but then the next episode will take legitimately 10m+ for one chapter.

tl;dr - Good internet but Webtoon app download speed has always been godawful
