3) Still no rooting for injuries

4) No politics

5) Upvote good trash talk

6) don’t downvote just because someone roots for another team

[Nolan] Matvei Michkov on his connection with Porter Martone as teammates and as friends: “I remember my first year, when I played every game so hard… He needs support. I support him every time, on the ice and then for life too. I want [him] to win.”

Michkov and Martone get 2 goals to give the Flyers their first win

• Upvotes

And the coach rewards them by benching them in the 3rd period.

Michkov had 2 mins 45 seconds of ice time in the 3rd.

Martone had 3 mins and 36 seconds of ice time in the 3rd.

Fire this incompetent moron before he destroys their confidence more than he already has.

Thoughts from tonight's 3-1 .... Win?!?

• Upvotes

- Michkov and Martone. Boy was that nice to see. First bit of life all season for this team and it's because of them.

- Vladar looks like last year Vladar after the 1st start vs PIT. Also nice to see.

- PP actually looked competent tonight. Provided the GWG!

- not to be negative but Bunting STILL played more than Martone and Michkov lol. Unfathomable.

- low-key don't mind Jiricek man. He has some wtf moments, but he moves it well, big shot, looks natural on the PP. Even threw a good hit!

- Nice to get a W. Nice to hear the crowd into it.

- point still stands. Fire Tocchet.

First time going to a game: advice?

I’m traveling up and have an opportunity to see a home game!! I’m so excited but also nervous, will be going as a solo female (28yo), first ever big sporting event as well!
What should I know? I see the doors open at like 5:30? Should I plan to get there around that time? Should I be mindful of anything? Should I bring ear plugs idk how loud it really gets at these things.
Planning to take the train in? And then uber back to my hotel? Not sure about that sort of situation either.

I have my jersey packed and that’s about all the prep I have atm… 😅 might not be their best year but looking forward to an opportunity to see a live game, don’t ever get the chance in my area.

I know everything about the Flyers is depressing right now, but at least there's this. Jett has 6 points now (1 G, 5 A) through the first 5 Phantoms games.
