Moderator Post Moderator note: report abuse and political topics
On Reddit, report abuse is when users report posts or comments as breaking Reddit rules or sub rules when they do not.
For example, someone stating their political opinion about a political party is not a death threat. Stating an opinion in a way that shares a personal view without inventing facts or spreading falsehoods is not misinformation.
Reporting political comments as rules breaking means that moderators have to review comments and approve them.
Moderators can report your accounts for report abuse. These reports can decrease your Contributor Quality Score on Reddit, which can lead to shadow bans, content being removed from this and other subs automatically, or even being prevented from commenting in some subs due to low CQS scores.
Please do not report comments and posts because you don't agree with them politically.

Photo/Video USAF Stratotanker & Fighters Over Vancouver Today
I was in South Vancouver this afternoon when my friend noticed some unique contrails above. Then they split up into a few smaller lines so we hit up Flightrader to find out it was a US KC-135T Stratotanker with some fighter jets! 20min later another batch flew overhead.

Moving to BC Considering moving to Kamloops – would you recommend it?
Hey everyone!
My boyfriend and I are in our mid-twenties and are planning to move from Germany to BC. Based on my research so far, Kamloops seems like it could be a great fit for us. However, I'm still unsure because I haven't been able to find much recent information, and a lot of what I've found is over three years old.
We both love mountain biking and nature in general. We're not big fans of busy city life and would prefer somewhere with a small-town feel, where you can get to know your neighbours. We're also looking for an apartment that isn't too expensive.
When it comes to the weather, I prefer snowy winters and don't particularly like rainy weather, while my boyfriend loves very hot summers.
We're also aware that Kamloops has termites, black widow spiders and rattlesnakes. For those of you living there, how much of an issue are they in everyday life?
Would you recommend Kamloops, or do you think there are other places in BC that might suit us better? I'd love to hear about the biggest pros and cons of living in Kamloops, as well as any other places you'd recommend.
As for the immigration side of things, I'm a Canadian citizen and can sponsor my boyfriend, so hopefully that part will be a little easier. However, if anyone here has experience moving overseas from Europe to BC, I'd really appreciate any advice on the process, logistics or things you wish you'd known beforehand.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Community Only Advanced Voting
This is my first time voting in BC and I’m curious about advanced voting. I’m hoping someone with experience might be able to help me understand. Elections BC states that “Voters can vote at any advance voting place in the province”. My question is this: How will they have the right ballot for my electoral district if I vote at an advanced voting location outside of my electoral district? Do they have copies for every riding? Do they print them out somehow? If anyone knows how they do this I’d very interested to learn more. Thank you!
