It is pretty clear that everyone involved with Epstein is very pro Israel, so it might be that Israel has some kind of evidence aka all the files themselves and basically owns everyone.

I am a scuba diver and I've been out to St John a few times for scuba trips. Epstein island is basically right there. There's actually great scuba diving in that whole area. A couple years ago I was on a boat / diving trip driving around and passed his Island. As we drove by, the Dive Master said as soon as Epstein was arrested like two days later he was driving by at night for a night dive, and they saw flashlights going all through the house. Probably his buddies on a contingency plan collecting all the worst of the worst evidence in case he died or got arrested.

I used to dive off St. James a lot and everyone knew that he was having young girls there for years before he got caught. You can’t keep that shit secret from caterers.

I've long said Trump thought he bought the honey pot when he had Epstein killed in prison his first term, but found out quickly Epstein was the honey and not the pot. The pot owned the honey and now they own Trump et al.

In a statement provided to the Mirror US Sports, Kraft expressed sympathy for Palestinians who are suffering "real" losses while even calling for a sit-down conversation with Macklemore.

...okay, that's also what Macklemore said. So what exactly did he say that involves "Jewish hate"?

Also seems pretty pathetic to call for a "sit down conversation" after you blocked an entire tour and then called all the other stadium owners to demand they block him as well.

You're open to a 'sit down conversation', as long as you first silence him?

4.5k

u/greenline_chi Sep 14 '26

Stadiums who let Kanye headline won’t let Macklemore be the opener….

2.2k

u/boot2skull Sep 14 '26

Kanye literally supported Nazi ideology. Macklemore as far as I can read said free Palestine?

1.1k

u/SpyderSquash Sep 15 '26

He also specified that criticism of Israel is not criticism of our Jewish brothers and sisters, and promoted a message of peace and unity across the board. It was a very well-articulated, professional and kind speech tbh. I haven't seen the dude in the public eye in a long time, but this was a nice thing to see from him.

https://youtu.be/GslWD7ZcipY

497

u/SideInitial3961 Sep 15 '26

He's 100% right. None of my jewish friend support the Israeli genocide.

93

u/whatlineisitanyway Sep 15 '26

It shouldn't be controversial. Take all the people that scream anti-semitism at this and describe to them a Muslim state that is doing all the things that Israel is doing and I'm sure they would be outraged and be calling for intervention.

52

u/FeloniousDrunk101 Sep 15 '26

It’s the message of peace and unity articulated in such an intelligent, compassionate and genuine way that is the real problem. That’s what got Bob Marley nearly assassinated during the Cold War, they even tried to get his music classified as sedition. Macklemore is no Bob ok but the intention and similarities can’t be ignored. Wouldn’t be surprised if this got him on the CIA watch list just like Bob was.

Nazi ideology helps drive home the propaganda that “Israel is the only safe place”. So that’s ok in the Hasbara play book.

Saying free Palestine is the real crux of the issue. They dont want that.

102

u/Jazzlike_Finish123 Sep 14 '26

This.  One makes them sympathetic and the other makes them the aggressor.

9

u/Dependent_Eye_6361 Sep 15 '26

That's exactly it. Kanye provides not just a fundraising opportunity for Israeli pacs, but also a clear and present danger that can be pointed to for why moving to and investing in Israel is the only safe thing. Macklemore saying Free Palestine just exposes Ed Sheeran's 12-year-old fanbase to things like empathy and understanding, and people like Robert Kraft can't have that.

104

u/4DPeterPan Sep 14 '26

That’s pretty much the same conclusion I came to after a very bland and quick research into what’s going on with this whole thing.

“Macklemore wants to stand up for truth & love.

Kraft wants to deny that from happening”.

Now that Kraft is getting backlash for his actions and noticed the public is against him; he’s trying to save his face.

65

u/Mu_forlife Sep 15 '26

They love to say “it’s complicated” but it really not.

34

u/4DPeterPan Sep 15 '26

Macklemore checkmated him by going to the media and giving a sincere statement. Now Kraft has to pretend to care about Palestinians after going to the extreme length of banning a singer for voicing his opinion on Palestinians.

212

u/BoreJam Sep 15 '26

I'm not even sure why it ever got to this. Macklemore has been a vocal supporter of Palestine for years. So the fact that simply saying "free palestine" has blown up into this mess makes no sense. He wrote a protest song in support of the student protests way back when the current saga of the Israel/Palestine kicked off.

116

u/abearirl Sep 15 '26

It's a classic "grumpy, checked out old man finally notices a thing he doesn't like and massively overreacts". Kraft probably didn't even know who Macklemore was until someone sent him a video

Billionaires are operating with impunity in a way we've never seen before. Yes they've always had their hand on the puppet strings, but they were more comfortable doing it behind the scenes. With Trump in office, as long as you're in with him you are untouchable. So doing something like banning an artist because you want to normal. What's more surprising is he felt the need to release a statement about it. It's not going to hurt his bottom line. It wasn't necessary for him to say anything, except maybe ego reasons.

Here's what Macklemore said:

To all of my Jewish brothers and sisters: criticism of Israel, criticism of apartheid, being against genocide in no way is a criticism of you,” he told the crowd.

“My message is for peace; love for all human beings to be treated with dignity, respect, and equality. So I say free Palestine, I say free Lebanon, I say free Cuba, I say free Congo, free Sudan, free all people in America living in fear of this terrorist organization, ICE. None of us will be free until we are all free.

I guess that's hate speech, now. Words no longer have meaning.

265

It’s impossible to have any real conversation with people that take this stance. They shut down any discourse because hearing “free Palestine” hurts their feefees and makes them feel “scared” or threatened because they’re projecting. They have a Godwin for every argument. Israel is an ethnostate when its convenient for them but also conveniently doesn’t represent or equal Jewish people whenever it’s convenient for the argument.

The words “Free Palestine” are not antisemitic. They are not an endorsement of Hamas. It is a plea for the country with nuclear weapons to chill out. It is also not antisemitic to point out that Israel has nuclear weapons.

41

u/kingofshitmntt Sep 14 '26

Heres a fact - Hamas hasn't killed anywhere near the amount of people the IDF has, how come no one is asked to condemn the IDF?

Kraft owns the patriots

Patriots get dicked down by the Seahawks repeatedly

Macklemore is from Seattle, where the Seahawks are from

Kraft bans him

I figured it out guys

Edit: I should add that the pats Just lost again to the Seahawks this past Wednesday in primetime in embarrassing fashion, and Macklemore is banned a couple days later. This is my new headcannon

This is the most simplistic dumbest funny take… so it will be adopted soon by big media and become the lead narrative on some networks

There it is. He immediately uses the "criticism of Israel is antisemitism" card, even though Macklemore specifically called that very defense out. All Kraft did was prove Macklemore's point.

Are there enough ads on the article? The thing is almost unreadable.

Here's the quote (which I had to find somewhere else btw):

"
Gillette Stadium has a longstanding commitment to providing a welcoming environment for all guests and ensuring that events held at our venue do not provide a platform for hate speech. Based on Macklemore’s recent actions, material shared from the stage during Ed Sheeran’s shows in New Jersey, and a broader history of antisemitic rhetoric and imagery that we believe has been deeply offensive and hurtful to the Jewish community, we determined that his participation in the September 25th and 26th concerts at Gillette Stadium would cross that line,

This decision is not about diminishing the suffering of innocent Palestinians or denying anyone the right to advocate on their behalf. Their pain and loss are real. But that advocacy should not come at the expense of the Jewish community or obscure the responsibility of Hamas, a United States and globally (including Canada, European Union, United Kingdom, and Japan) designated terrorist organization whose horrific actions have caused immeasurable suffering for Palestinians and Israelis alike. I agree with Macklemore. Too many lives have been lost and there has been too much suffering, but only sharing selective information and ignoring the actions of Hamas is not honest and only advances more divisiveness and hate. Over many decades, I have directed resources to Palestine and created athletic and entrepreneurial opportunities for Palestinians who I admire and respect. Standing with the Palestinian people and standing against Hamas, antisemitism and hate should not be mutually exclusive.

Much of my time and attention for the last decade has been focused on the fight against antisemitism and hate of all kinds, and I feel a responsibility to stand up when I believe that line has been crossed. I have tremendous respect for Ed and his music, particularly his unique ability to bring people together and spread joy, and I have always been proud to welcome him and his fans to Gillette Stadium.

I would welcome the opportunity to sit down with Macklemore and discuss the facts, because ultimately our goal is the same – peace for all people, an end to suffering, and an end to all hate.

Didn't Kanye play at his stadium thoughhhhhhhhhh

19

u/artaxerxes316 Sep 14 '26

I don't understand why Kraft would marshal like-minded individuals to ban Macklemore from their venues. I thought organizing collective economic action to advance a political objective was evil -- that's what the opponents of BDS have been telling me for years.

Unless... golly, you don't think maybe they were just full of shit, do you?

22

u/DM725 Sep 14 '26

What a joke. Criticizing a country's government is not antisemitic.

Wild that for some people “free palestine” is anti-semitic hate speech.

25

u/shyguyJ Sep 14 '26

Wild that any part of Macklemore's comments could be taken as hate speech or hateful in any way, shape, or form, tbh. I mean, unless you work for or support ICE.

"To all of my Jewish brothers and sisters: criticism of Israel, criticism of apartheid, being against genocide in no way is a criticism of you. My message is for peace; love for all human beings to be treated with dignity, respect, and equality. So I say free Palestine, I say free Lebanon, I say free Cuba, I say free Congo, free Sudan, free all people in America living in fear of this terrorist organization, ICE. None of us will be free until we are all free."

6

u/LazloHollifeld Sep 14 '26

They’re upset that everyone is calling it a genocide, and hiding behind the antisemitism shield like the cowards they are. Being critical of the actions of Israel has nothing to do with the religion, but they’re the ones blurring the lines not him.

75

u/ShadowGLI Sep 14 '26

Macklemore gave a short speech about Palestine on Sept. 4.

“To all of my Jewish brothers and sisters: criticism of Israel, criticism of apartheid, being against genocide in no way is a criticism of you,” he told the crowd.

“My message is for peace; love for all human beings to be treated with dignity, respect, and equality. So I say free Palestine, I say free Lebanon, I say free Cuba, I say free Congo, free Sudan, free all people in America living in fear of this terrorist organization, ICE. None of us will be free until we are all free.”

Yeah I can see how this could be considered hate speech by some.

Macklemore was opening for Ed Sheeran on a stadium tour.

At a show, he displayed the Palestinian flag, and said “free Palestine”

Pink took offense, made some posts on Instagram.

Robert Kraft, owner of the Patriots, said that Macklemore would not be allowed to play at Gillette Stadium.

Ed Sheeran and co. drop Macklemore from the tour.

Macklemore opens up about the whole ordeal and gains my respect. Im a Pats fan, being from Boston, but fuck Robert Kraft.

The funny thing is, this has just been even more publicity for Macklemore and his Free Palestine statement. His popularity has risen as a result and Pink's has fallen as it should for criticising him. Supporting genocide is an instant cancellation. It just shows how corrupt the world is though when saying genocide is wrong gets you cancelled.
