Philosophy, Ethics & Dharma "Doesn't your daughter not have any Hindu friends? Why is she with a Muslim boy" - Hindutva goons ask Hindu girl's parents during Dandiya Night.
These goons never show up when it comes to demanding justice for Hindu Girls like Ankita Bhandari. And why are the police standing and not doing anything while propels liberties are being violated?
Translation: The girl requests them to not film her. The man with the camera says he will not film her but film the boy and the man on call. The man talking on the phone finds out the mother knows. He lectures her mother to not come to him if her daughter falls victim to Love Jihad.
The call is interrupted by another call. He says on the 2nd call that he has caught many non-Hindus. He tells the caller to stop the event. The girl is apologizing to the boy.
He continues the call. It is revealed that the boy is like her brother. The girl is insisting on not taking the boy to the police. The man then says that it is goddess's festival and they should not have sent a Muslim boy.
The man then calls the tent guy.

Critical Analysis & Discussion CRAZY SCENES in London right now 🚨: Protesters chant "Chhappan inch ka chhota bandar, waah narendar waah narendar"
Source : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aomA7-z6fsw
LONDON — Massive protests erupted at Parliament Square today as thousands gathered for a demonstration led by Indian YouTuber Dhruv Rathee. The crowd rallied against alleged voter list irregularities in India, chanting highly charged slogans, including the viral chant targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The event laid bare deep divisions within the Indian diaspora. While Rathee’s supporters demanded electoral transparency following recent political friction in Delhi, a counter-protest simultaneously gathered outside the Indian High Commission to express solidarity with the Indian government. The overseas demonstration has sparked intense online debate, with critics arguing that staging domestic political disputes abroad fuels regional polarization.

Elections & Democracy Yesterday, ECI councel in SC said we lost the vote counting video in an assembly election dispute case. Is election commission hiding something?
Yesterday, supreme court reprimanded election commission of India for not producing election counting video.
It's an election results related dispute matter in supreme cout. In which, the congress candidate T D rajegoda had won the sringeri assembly seat in Karnataka by a margin of 201 votes. But the bjp candidate challenged this in the Karnataka high court. The high court ordered a recount of postal ballot votes and re-verification of 279 rejected postal ballot votes. In recounting, the congress candidate lost the election by 255 votes.
Then the congress candidate approached the supreme court contending that the high court had only ordered the re-verification of 279 rejected postal ballots, but the returning official illegally reconsidered more postal ballots, which had gone to the BJP candidate.
Then, the supreme court asked for "observers report" as well as the video recordings of 2023 vote counting and recent counting.
The ECI councel said, it was unable to find the video of 2023 counting. To this, the visibly annoyed bench said "how can ECI say that it has lost the its record? Your whole purpose is to hold elections, and you need to have a document... There is no custody of record.
Then bench said... "Whatever there is, produce by the next date of hearing. Otherwise, we will have to draw adverse inference against you. We will not accept these kind of lame excuse".
As per election rules, ECI has to maintain all the rules related to elections for 45 days from the election result. If there is any legal dispute emerge regarding election, then it will preserve all the records related to that dispute as long as case is not settled. And any petition related to election dispute can be filled within 45 days.
So, how can election commission say that they have no record? Are they above the law? Or are they trying to hide something?
The integrity of the election commission is the all time lowest, people are losing faith in electoral democracy. We need to save it.

Elections & Democracy Protest in London, demanding resignation of gyanesh Kumar.✊🏻🔥
Every democracy stands on "free & fair elections". Electoral integrity is the prime most thing for a healthy democracy. If people will start to lose "faith" in the electoral process, and won't respect the mandate, then indian parliamentary democracy can't survive.
It is good to see that our overseas Indians are aware about this fact and standing with Indian youth, who are opposing this tyranny govt. In my opinion, every overseas indian should be concerned about this election commission fuss. Coz it hurts everyone equally. Most of them have their families, house, business and even votes in india. They all are part of this nation. And again it's really good to see them protesting. UK STANDS WITH INDIA✊🏻
Jab jab modi darta h, police ko aage karta h.
Modi teri tanasahi nhi chalegi nhi chalegi.
Amit Shah teri tanasahi nhi chalegi, nhi chalegi.
Gyanesh Kumar istifa do istifa do✊🏻🔥

Law, Rights & Society Delhi Police has spent ₹15.66 crore on Al-linked CCTV with no law and no SOP behind it.
Protest is a right. Surveillance without limits is digital authoritarianism.
Delhi Police has spent ₹ 15.66 crore on Al-linked CCTV with no law and no SOP behind it. That means protesters get tracked and innocent people get misidentified. Of the 3,000 people these cameras "identified," 20 were already in jail.
The Rs 15.7-crore tender for the installation of CCTV cameras with facial recognition capabilities. The tender, part of a modernization initiative, specifies 338 cameras for Central and New Delhi. Concerns have been raised regarding the procurement process and surveillance safeguards. Installation is expected to commence in December 2026 or January 2027.

Critical Analysis & Discussion Where is our media headed? Interviewing AI Ram and Sita for an AI drama RRRR.
I’ve always had my issues with sloppy AI dramas, but watching one of the biggest media outlets making one, and even going on to “interview” these AI “actors” has me flabbergasted, but not shocked. Our standard of journalism has deteriorated so much - it’s concerning. Not only this, but this drama was deemed so consequential that the Maharashtra CM was invited to inaugurate it. No matter where we are in the political spectrum, I believe we can all agree that there are MULTIPLE very important issues going on in our country that deserve coverage. There was a time we’d see journalists investigate corruption, social issues, food safety, etc. Anjana is one of the biggest journalists in this country, with an immense reach, and platform - it’s disheartening to see this is how she chooses to use her platform and influence.

News & Current Affairs Ankita Bhandari Case in Short, how Justice has been Delayed
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Ankita_Bhandari
Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi’s decision to join the parents of Ankita Bhandari at a sit-in protest at India Gate on Wednesday has renewed national attention on the 2022 murder of the 19-year-old receptionist in Uttarakhand. The family is demanding that the appointment of senior BJP leader Dushyant Kumar Gautam as Governor of Sikkim by the President earlier this week be put on hold until the ongoing CBI investigation into the case is completed.
Ankita’s father, Virendra Bhandari, appealed to President Droupadi Murmu to withhold Gautam’s appointment until an investigation is conducted. The family has alleged that an unidentified VIP was involved in the circumstances leading to Ankita’s murder and has named Gautam in its allegations. Gautam has denied any involvement and has initiated defamation proceedings against those accusing him.
The protest marks a fresh escalation in a case where three men have already been convicted of her murder. The renewed controversy centres on whether the investigation adequately examined allegations about a VIP who was allegedly seeking sexual favours from Ankita.
On Tuesday, the Uttarakhand Congress also protested Gautam’s appointment, accusing the BJP of disregarding the family’s demand for accountability. State Congress president Ganesh Godiyal said the appointment had deepened the family’s anguish and alleged that the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in Uttarakhand had failed to act on its request for an investigation into the alleged VIP’s role.
The case
Ankita was working as a receptionist at the Vanantara resort in Rishikesh when she was killed on September 18, 2022, barely 20 days after joining. The resort was managed by Pulkit Arya, son of former BJP leader Vinod Arya. Ankita’s body was recovered from a canal six days after she went missing.
The state police’s Special Investigation Team found that Ankita had been pressured to provide sexual services to guests, which she opposed. In May 2025, a court in Pauri Garhwal convicted Pulkit Arya and his two associates, Ankit Gupta and Saurabh Bhaskar, and sentenced all three to life imprisonment. The convictions established their criminal responsibility for the murder; they did not settle the separate allegations concerning a possible VIP.
Questions about such a person have persisted since the case first came to light. During the trial, the prosecution referred to messages indicating that Ankita had been distressed by demands for “extra services” and wanted to leave the resort. Her family continued to seek an investigation into whether someone beyond the three convicted men had been involved.
The controversy intensified in December 2025 after Urmila Sanawar, who claimed to be the wife of former BJP MLA Suresh Rathore, released videos and an audio clip of a purported conversation with him. Sanawar alleged that a senior leader known as “Gattu” was the VIP in the case. In the purported recording, Rathore allegedly linked Gautam to the allegations. Rathore later claimed that the clip was AI-generated, while Gautam denied the accusations.
The police’s SIT had earlier said it found no evidence establishing the involvement of an influential leader in the murder.
Following renewed protests across Uttarakhand in January 2026, Dhami recommended a CBI investigation. Ankita’s father, Virendra, said the family wanted the probe to focus specifically on the alleged VIP angle and the motive for the murder, rather than simply repeat the investigation into the three convicted men. He also sought supervision by a retired Supreme Court judge.
The allegations have led to separate legal proceedings. In January 2026, Gautam filed a defamation petition against Sanawar, Rathore, the Congress, the Aam Aadmi Party and others, alleging that they had falsely linked him to the murder.
The Delhi High Court subsequently directed the Congress and AAP to remove social media posts linking him to the case within 24 hours. In June, Rathore was arrested by Dehradun Police over allegations that he had conspired to falsely implicate Gautam in the case.

Law, Rights & Society Rajdeep Sardesai retorts Baramati MP
Recently Baramati MP Supriya Sule spoke about undeclared emergency which was vociferously retorted by Rajdeep Sardesai.
Interesting aspect is, she seems to have forgotten what her party's govt did in Maharashtra, which was in power at the time of covid. For those who are unaware, undivded NCP was a part of MVA, which included undivided Shiv Sena and INC and it's govt was headed by Uddhav Thackeray. Additionally her party also handled the home ministry portfolio.
But when Baramati MP speaks in this manner, she should also answer what her govt did when a Marathi actress named Ketaki Chitale, shared a post which mocked Baramati MP's father and NCP supremo. The actress for sharing the post was jailed for a month.
Similarly there exists a political analyst named Bhau Torsekar, he used to appear for a Marathi YouTube channel named The Postman. In one of the videos for the channel, a YouTube user in that comment mocked NCP supremo.
Eventually a case was filed against the political analyst citing that it threatened the life of NCP Supremo.
An ex military personnel was also attacked when he shared a cartoon which poked fun at Uddhav Thackeray.
In the context of these cases, did her govt declare an undeclared emergency.

Critical Analysis & Discussion To BJP supporters that see this post: Do you guys believe that the actions taken by the police and the government in the past few weeks were justified, or do you think the government is drunk on power?
I feel that the members of the ruling party don't realize the consequences of their actions, and they're only asking for trouble by not engaging in dialogue with the citizens. I mean, detaining people from trains and flights is crazy already but detaining journalists, and normal citizens who weren't even there for the protests? Taking literal minors to unknown locations after detaining them, targeting student activists and maligning their image in the mainstream media, giving the police a free hand to beat up protesters, sending RSS goons to create havoc and asking the police to not touch them....
And now they're detaining people waving the tiranga! Seriously, if I was a supporter of the BJP then I'd surely be quite disappointed tbh. I keep seeing videos of violent protests in France on Indian RW subs, as if they're trying to justify illegal detention of Dipke and co, yet the protests here have only been peaceful, and we've only seen violence from the state in both the protests against Pradhan and the ECI.
Again, being critical of the government does not mean you're a fan of the opposition party, but that option seems more and more attractive with each passing day. It's not about BJP vs INC, I just want both sides to actually talk to each other because this is not a good look for India on the global stage.

News & Current Affairs Is closet "Sanghi" - the worst "Sanghi"?
So, this Indian Express Editor is asking why CJP showed only minor issues with Punjab Schools?
ok, Let's say for a sake argument that there are schools with bigger issues or problems in Punjab and CJP intentionally didn't showed them. Then What is stopping Indian Express to show those schools? So, One of the biggest media companies in India can't verify the state of schools in Punjab?
Moreover, He says AAP's own MLA came out about the state of schools but then he was dismissed.
In reality, the AAP MLA was dismissed for poor performance and then while leaving he started to defame the party. Even in that claim he said there are not adequate teachers i.e. 2-3 teachers are less than required strength. Which is not really as same as missing school building, running school in cattle shed etc. But this Editor said that schools in Punjab are also not good based on single unverified claim. Moreover, This claim can also be really easy to verify for one of the biggest newspapers in India. Especially, when they have hundreds of Journalists in Punjab!
Refuting the lawmaker’s claims that the local School of Eminence operated with critical staff shortages, the party released official school records dated September 29. According to the data, the school features 30 sanctioned teaching posts, of which 25 are currently filled, serving 580 students across 19 sections. The active staff includes a principal, seven lecturers, 15 master cadre teachers, and two computer science teachers. A party spokesperson added that the principal had already submitted a written request to fill the remaining five vacant posts.
Source: AAP’s Maur MLA questions Mann govt’s edu reform claims, suspended
Then he again asking why CJP is not talking about drug issue in Punjab? But again question is "who is stopping Indian Express to investigate drug issue in Punjab?" I have never seen any report or investigation by Indian Express on Drug issue in India or Punjab? Yeah, It's pan India issue drugs are not just limited to one state! Also, how come drugs keep entering in India from India-Pak border even after 7 years of Amit Shah as home minister? Why he is not able to control flow of drugs from Gujrat ports? Should we send CJP to defend Indian borders too?
So, their "journalism of courage" is only limited asking youth these hard questions? So, CJP needs to do everything - they have to be opposition, they have to be media, they have to be investigative journalists, they have to politicians, they have to judges!
Maybe these "Editors of Courage" should resign and let CJP run Indian Express and rest of the country!

News & Current Affairs Deadly Collapse at MVSR Engineering College Dandiya Night Sparks Safety and Permission Row
:Students at MVSR Engineering College in Nadergul were left panicking after a lighting structure collapsed during the college’s Dandiya Night on Saturday, killing students and injuring several others
In India, there's no safety culture. Also contractors and maintenance people don't actually believe in the rules or engineering guidelines. They cut corners wherever possible. It's a cultural issue. If you go to Europe or the U.S. this kind of thing almost never happens. In Hyderabad alone I know of multiple structures that collapsed this year.
If we trust Indian contractors with our safety they are going to give you an Indian level of safety. These are the same sorts of people who think it's fine to have massive potholes in the middle of the road and dangling electrical cables and so on.

Critical Analysis & Discussion Everyone Is Talking About Deleted Voters, But Who Is Asking About Illegal bangladeshi and rohingyas added to Electoral Rolls?
I want to raise a serious question about electoral integrity and the verification process used by the Election Commission of India (ECI). Everyone is talking about voters being deleted from electoral rolls, but hardly anyone seems to be asking the other important question: Have ineligible foreign nationals been added to our electoral rolls?
We all know that illegal immigration is a documented issue in India, although the exact number of people residing illegally remains disputed. Historical estimates have put the number of Bangladeshi migrants at around 2 crore, while estimates for Rohingya have been around 40,000. These are estimates, not verified current population counts.
My concern is not simply about illegal immigration. It is about what happens when someone obtains Indian identity documents fraudulently.
There have been several reported cases of alleged document fraud:
- Bengaluru, April 2024: "India Today" (https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/4-bangladeshi-immigrants-illegally-obtain-indian-ids-in-bengaluru-arrested-2529511-2024-04-20) reported the arrest of four Bangladeshi immigrants accused of fraudulently obtaining Indian identity documents, including Aadhaar and ration cards.
- Delhi, December 2024: "Hindustan Times" (https://www.hindustantimes.com/cities/delhi-news/12-arrested-as-cops-bust-gang-involved-in-illegal-immigration-from-bdesh-101735064831849-amp.html) reported arrests in an alleged racket involving forged Aadhaar and voter ID cards.
- Hyderabad, May 2025: "Times of India" (https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/hyderabad/4-rohingya-refugees-held-for-obtaining-aadhaar-fraudulently/articleshow/121299376.cms) reported the arrest of four Rohingya over the alleged fraudulent acquisition of Aadhaar cards.
- Tamil Nadu, February 2024: "The New Indian Express" (https://www.newindianexpress.com/states/tamil-nadu/2024/Feb/01/three-bangladesh-nationals-booked-in-tamil-nadu-trafficking-cases) reported on an investigation involving Bangladeshi nationals and alleged immigration-related offences.
These reports demonstrate that fraudulent acquisition of Indian identity documents is a genuine concern.
Here is the question I want the ECI to answer.
Form 6 is used to apply for inclusion in the electoral roll. Aadhaar can be accepted for specified purposes, but it is not proof of Indian citizenship.
Consider this hypothetical scenario:
a Bangladeshi national enters India illegally, obtains forged Aadhaar and ration cards through a document-forgery network, applies for voter registration using Form 6, falsely declares Indian citizenship and subsequently votes.
Given the reported cases of document fraud, it is a legitimate question to ask whether illegal foreign nationals have entered electoral rolls and whether any have voted in previous state elections
I also believe the controversy surrounding Aadhaar and Form 6 deserves closer scrutiny. I think that is why ECI was sceptical in adding Aadhaar in first place, ECI added it only after the supreme court decision.
Now comes the political question.
Why are the Congress, left-wing groups and CJP raising concerns about voter deletions and discrepancies in electoral rolls, while there is concern of illegal Bangladeshi and rohingya being added receives no attention?
No hiding around the bush, the answer is simple - Muslims. Muslims are these core audience for these political groups.
Here is reasoning:
The extended cutoff date for the CAA is 31 December 2024, so people from Hindu, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist, Jain and Christian communities in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan may have applied for citizenship, and many may have obtained Indian citizenship and become eligible to vote. However, illegal Bangladeshi Muslim migrants and Rohingya remain foreign nationals. Through fraud, some may already have participated in our electoral process, but these parties won't highlight this for obvious reasons.
My question to nationalists and everyone concerned about electoral integrity is simple:
Why are we not demanding that the ECI investigate both sides of the problem -eligible voters being wrongly removed and ineligible people potentially being added along with discrepancies in ECI processes.
If electoral rolls are to be trusted, both questions deserve answers backed by transparent data, official investigations and evidence.

Critical Analysis & Discussion Crony Capitalism - Pro Max!
When former UK PM Boris Johnson came to India, he went straight to Gautam Adani. Now, American Foreign Affairs Minister Marco Rubio has made a dash to Mukesh Ambani’s house and asked his Indian counterpart to come to Mumbai. Let that sink in. What does this tell you about the current government?
The clown is compromised and reduced to sitting in the PM’s chair while his ministers are busy spreading hatred, fuelling riots and punishing Indian citizens. And we’re getting upset because Elon Musk said, “Dear Prime Minister Ambani, please accept my humble apologies for not realizing that you are the real boss of India.”
When foreign leaders land in India and their first GPS pin is Adani or Ambani, it starts looking less like diplomacy and more like a private concierge service for billionaires. The PMO is supposed to run the country, not make the world wonder who actually owns the remote control.
And now we’re offended by Elon Musk’s sarcasm? Maybe the real question isn’t why he made that joke, but why it struck such a nerve in the first place.

Critical Analysis & Discussion Is regime change what the protests are all about?
Saw this video in another sub
https://www.reddit.com/r/20sIndiaReal/comments/1x6khil/regime_change_is_the_way_we_will_see_it_soon/
Prashant Bhushan there says regime change is what we want and the way to go forward. Another protestor (Neha) is seen to be getting inspiration from Bangladesh GenZ protests and their 'fight' against 'religious fundamentalism'. Bangladesh fell into the hands of more religious fundamentalists. And the protests in Bangladesh was started against reservation. Something i think the people of CJP tend to favor.
So was it always about regime change? Because if it was for streamlining of the electoral process, something i agree with, then you all should be totally fine with BJP ruling for another 1000 years as long as the people ask for it. And now, Dhruv Rathee is doing aura maxxing in london. As someone watching from a far, how are we not to conclude that the intentions are not to streamline the process but to force a regime change because you are unable to win? And news flash 'torch bearers of democracy' : forced regime change is literally against what democracy stands for.
And why tf is it always humanities from JNU? Do you guys literally have nothing else to do? i mean, as a side note, i really want to hear from some JNU folks. is everyone like this?

Critical Analysis & Discussion Why did we start caring about minor religious tensions like they matter and acting like we are supposed to care for religious sentiments of some snowflakes?
I remember in past people used to look at these minor tensions between religions as kinda foolish, and leave the tensions to those extremists themselves to fight. But these days, I see amplified posts about a Muslim did this in a Hindu temple, Hindus did that to a Masjid, like dude, I don't give a f**k about what those extremists do to themselves, maybe just hope justice is delivered to victim in that isolated case and that's it, because they are no different from any other hate crimes in this country. But these days, those religious extremists started acting like we are supposed to care about these silly incidents and their snow flake sentiments, even people started caring about these stupid sentiments like they are any use to the country. We collectively should stop thinking about these supposedly sentimental things emotionally and stop paying attention to those who want to benefit from these sentiments. We shouldn't be sentimental about any of ts, they are nothing, no use to the country.
And we should even start looking at these like foolish cases which doesn't have any useful impact on this country if they are solved any more than after a hate crime at the end of the street is solved, and even carry negative impact if we, as public who are supposed to develop this country, care about them any more than needed.

Geopolitics & Governance Freedom at Midnight made me proud of our founding generation and deeply sad about today's politics.
Watching Freedom at Midnight left me with a strange mix of pride, sadness, and anger.
Pride, because of the extraordinary leaders we had during our freedom struggle. Sadness, because of the sacrifices they made to give us the country we live in today. And anger, because when I look at our political leadership today, I cannot help but wonder how we have fallen so far in the quality of our public discourse.
Just think about the people who shaped our nation: Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, and so many others.
They were human beings. They had disagreements, made mistakes, held different ideologies, and sometimes made decisions that we can question even today. They were not perfect, and we should never treat them as gods.
But look at what they gave to this country.
They dedicated their lives to a cause far greater than their personal ambitions. They fought for freedom, took enormous risks, endured imprisonment, and worked through one of the most difficult periods in our history. They inherited a country devastated by Partition, communal violence, poverty, and uncertainty, yet they helped lay the foundations of a democratic republic.
They didn't have the luxury of inheriting a fully developed India. They had to help build one.
And they did it without knowing whether history would remember them kindly or whether future generations would appreciate their sacrifices.
What hurts me most is seeing people who identify as nationalists casually abuse Gandhi and Nehru, often reducing their entire lives to a few controversial decisions or political talking points. Criticising historical figures is perfectly legitimate. Questioning their decisions is necessary. But how can we dismiss their entire contribution without honestly understanding what they fought for, what they sacrificed, and the circumstances in which they made those decisions?
You don't have to agree with Nehru to acknowledge his contribution to building India's democratic institutions. You don't have to agree with Gandhi on everything to recognise the extraordinary moral and political force of his nonviolent struggle. You can debate Patel's decisions while still respecting his role in integrating hundreds of princely states. And you can disagree with Maulana Azad while acknowledging his immense contribution to India's freedom movement and education.
Patriotism should not require us to hate our own history.
And then I look at today's politics, and my heart genuinely aches.
I see a political culture in which religious identity and caste increasingly become tools for mobilisation, where opponents are treated as enemies, where grand promises often seem more important than accountability, and where questioning those in power can get you labelled anti-national.
I see leaders who seem far more interested in controlling the political narrative than in having honest conversations about education, employment, inequality, healthcare, and the future of our young people.
And I find myself asking: Is this really what our freedom fighters imagined for independent India?
I don't believe that today's leaders should be judged by whether they belong to the BJP, Congress, or any other party. They should be judged by their integrity, their competence, their service to the country, and their willingness to be held accountable. No party deserves unconditional loyalty, and no leader should be above criticism.
But when I compare the ideals of the people who fought for our freedom with the politics of division and personality worship that we see today, the contrast is painful.
The BJP and its supporters have every right to criticise Nehru, Gandhi, or any Congress leader. But criticism should come with historical understanding, not selective memory. You cannot claim to love India while refusing to acknowledge the people who helped create the India you inherited.
You don't have to worship Gandhi or Nehru. But at least understand them before hating them.
The India we live in today did not appear out of nowhere. It was shaped by countless people who sacrificed their comfort, their freedom, and sometimes their lives. The leaders of that generation had flaws, but they also had a sense of responsibility toward a nation that was bigger than themselves.
That is what I miss most: the feeling that leadership meant serving something greater than yourself.
I am not saying the past was perfect, nor am I saying every leader today is corrupt or incapable. India has made enormous progress, and many people across political parties work sincerely for the country.
I am saying that we deserve leaders who unite us more than they divide us, who offer more than slogans, who respect institutions, and who understand that governing a country is a responsibility, not a personal entitlement.
After watching Freedom at Midnight, I am left with one question:
How did we go from a generation that fought to unite Indians against colonial rule to a political environment where Indians are so often encouraged to distrust and hate one another?
And perhaps an even more uncomfortable question:
If Gandhi, Nehru, Patel, and Azad could see the India we live in today, what would they be proud of, and what would break their hearts?
I wish we spent less time hating the people who built the foundations of our nation and more time understanding what they stood for.
Because loving India should mean caring about what it becomes, not blindly defending whoever happens to be in power.
Jai Hind.
