G'day legends! There is currently a worldwide event happening where all nations compete in a backyard ultra format race simultaneously in their own country. If you are unfamiliar each participant must run 6.7km each hour on the hour. This is a world cup so its the last country standing! We placed second last year and have a good chance of placing nicely this year as well.

The stream will be changing every 9 or so hours but will be accessible through the channel live button.

sport Rugby World Cup 2027 ticket prices a bit steep?

Australia is hosting the Rugby World Cup for the first time since 2003, and the tickets are on sale now.

Anyone going? I applied for tickets to the popular games (Wallabies, All Blacks, semi-finals and the final), during the application window, but missed out on all of them.

I thought I might still attend a few of the matches where tickets are still available, but I found prices are quite steep.

If you want to see the Wallabies score a try every 5 minutes vs Hong Kong in the group stage game at Perth stadium, it's $635 for a seat in the corner, and England vs Wales is $635 for level 6 tickets at Homebush Olympic Stadium.

Of course both these teams are popular teams to watch. If you want to see Italy vs Romania and don't mind sitting behind the posts, it's $50 (or $95 for a seat in the sidelines near the corner).

Forgive me for having a whinge about prices, and there are clearly people willing to pay these prices as most tickets appear to have sold. The days of affordable tickets to big sporting events seem to be over, which is sad because families should be able to enjoy these events without paying $600+ per ticket especially in the group stages.
